Cassie’s Coastal Collection!

Y’ALL!  IT’S LIVE!  It’s FINALLY LIVE!

This is Cassie’s 12th collection with Gibson and it is SERIOUSLY FABULOUS. The girl knows how to create a collection. I’m SO PROUD of her, and let’s be honest…I’m SO EXCITED about the cute new pieces in my closet! This is a small collection with only 4 styles and 6 pieces, and every single piece is absolutely adorable.

So what’s the collection all about?

It’s filled with gorgeous and vibrant colors, fun patterns, and the oh so pretty feminine details that Cassie is known for. These clothes are going to make you happy. They’re also going to make you want a margarita. Or maybe that’s just me. 😉

SMOCKED WAIST DRESS

Let’s kick things off with my favorite dress from the collection. Actually, I think this is my favorite piece Cassie has ever done.

Are you meeting your girlfriends for lunch? Throw on this dress.

Headed to church? Throw on this dress.

Date night? Throw on this dress.

Dinner on the beach? You guessed it, go ahead and grab this dress.

I love the stretchy smocked waist (it’s so stretchy and comfy!), the little flutter sleeves, the feminine neckline, and the tiered skirt. I’ll pair it with wedges when I want to dress it up, but it’s also great with casual flat sandals. And if you know me, you know I’ll also be throwing a denim jacket on top on occasion as well. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium (but it’s roomy, so I think a small might have worked too.)

CABANA DRESS

If you have and love the cabana dress from last year’s collection, I bet you’re going to want to grab this one in this new print!

First of all, let’s talk about the colors. A soft blush and a vibrant and electric pink come together in a beautiful and whimsical pattern. The exaggerated sleeve, split neckline, and crochet trim all make this dress a little special. For size reference, I’m wearing a small. In this one, I would suggest sizing down if between sizes.

TIE BACK MAXI DRESS

Okay, this is a dress that I fell in love with when Cassie showed it to me…. so I of course ordered it…. even though I know these types of necklines don’t usually work on me. Well, I was right, I’m sadly way too busy for this dress. I’m so sad, and when you see it on Cassie in just a second, you’ll understand why. It’s sooooo good! I ordered a medium in this one to accommodate my chest, but I definitely needed a small.

LOOK! HOW! CUTE!

When you see it on Cassie here, you might understand why I’m hiding my chest under the denim jacket above. It’s not that you can’t wear this dress with a larger chest, it’s just that my boobs aren’t built for it. 🙂 haha!

Look at this back, y’all!

Here you can see that the straps are adjustable, which is awesome. And right under Cassie’s arm, there’s actually a stretchy elastic panel that makes the tie back feature super comfortable.

JUMPSUIT

And the last piece in the collection, look at this jumpsuit! It’s got a little henley collar, an elastic drawstring waist, and wide and flowy legs. Once again, you can dress this baby up or down. And no surprise here, this would also look great with a denim jacket thrown on top.

The entire collection is obviously SO CASSIE.

And I feel like the smocked waist dress is SO ME!

I would be buying and wearing these pieces even if a dear friend wasn’t responsible for them, but the fact that she is just makes my heart swell with pride. I can’t wait till I get the first compliment when I’m out and about around town. You can better believe I’ll be like “RIGHT????  MY FRIEND!!!!!  SHE DID THIS!”
