Ladies.
We are officially in full blown summer. How do I know? Well, we’ve had lots of over 100 degree days in my neck of the woods, and I’m here to tell you that 106 degrees will jolt you right on into summer.
Not only are the temperatures out of control, but the kids have been home for awhile too. Those of you with young kids have heard the word “mom” around 2,760 times over the last several weeks. Those of us with teens have it much easier, but I think we all need to reward ourselves for making it here. #forreal You know, just a small YOU ARE AWESOME gift to yourself. #youdeserveit
Nothing is over $50 today, and most of the items featured are actually under $30! Have a fun little shopping day for yourself. Or you might consider grabbing something for a friend that might need a little pick me up! Let’s celebrate summer!
1) Clarins lip oil / 2) button up tank / 3) shirt dress / 4) earrings / 5) beaded earrings (pink citron) / 6) cover up / 7) bandana / 8) bracelet stack / 9) beaded bracelet cuff / 10) smocked dress / 11) melamine serving bowl / 12) gold sandals / 13) sunglasses / 14) bra / 15) embroidered blouse / 16) straw tote / 17) pink slide sandals / 18) drawstring shorts
1) Clarins lip oil / If you love a shiny lip, you need to give this lip oil a try. It’s soooo hydrating, your lips will feel so soft, and they will be incredibly shiny. I have tried several colors over the last several years and love them all. They aren’t as pigmented on your lips as they appear in the container, but they will provide a subtle hint of color with tons of shine.
2) button up tank / I love this coral color and the easy breezy fit. It would be great with denim shorts, white shorts, or white jeans. Pair with some flip flops and head out the door.
3) shirt dress / I showed this dress in black earlier this week. It’s 100% breathable cotton with a light and gauzy texture. It’s very soft, very lightweight, and just an easy dress to wear! It buttons up, has soft pleats that run from the collar to the waist, and a great little fabric belt to be tied in a knot or a bow. And did I mention it has pockets? Because it does. #BONUS For size reference, I’m wearing the petite medium.
This dress is only under $50 because of the sale going on right now, so don’t miss it!
dress / sandals / necklace options / bracelet options / straw tote option
4) earrings / I have these earrings and LOVE them. Lightweight, a vibrant turquoise color, and a great size. The dress is simple, classic, flattering, and comfy as all get out. Featuring a shirred bodice and voluminous puff sleeves, this pretty midi dress is made of lightweight cotton dobby. It’s effortlessly put-together—and yes, it has pockets, too. For size reference, I’m wearing a 6. Per the reviews, people seem to either love it or hate it. I happen to love it.
I’m wearing it dress on the left with a clutch and heeled sandals and more casually on the right with a tote and flat sandals.
dress / ruffle raffia clutch (on left) / tote bag (on right) / turquoise and teal earrings / similar coin necklace / bracelet stack / braided sandals
5) beaded earrings (pink citron) / I’ve admired this Ink+Alloy brand for years, and it seems they just started selling on Amazon. WooHoo! Click HERE to see everything they have to offer. Their pieces are made of colorful glass seed beads and upcycled brass. Everything is handcrafted, unique, and gorgeous!
I ordered these earrings in pink citron, the #8 bracelet stack, and the #9 cuff. I’m so excited!
ruffle sleeve tee / sunglasses / beaded earrings / bracelet stack / denim shorts (use code STMT10 for 10% OFF)
6) cover up / I have this cover up in both black and hot pink (but I haven’t showed the hot pink yet). This black crochet cover up is totally chic, but if you grab it in one of the bright colors, it will just be fun! I think the neon green in the collage is so fun! For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
7) bandana / Y’all know that I went on a bandana kick last year and was tying them on the straps of all my purses. I don’t know why I haven’t been doing that this year, but I need to start again. They are a great and inexpensive way to add some color and style to your outfits.
8) bracelet stack / You can see this stack above in the picture of me with the orange tee.
9) beaded bracelet cuff / #ordered
10) smocked dress / The top is smocked and super comfy, the tie straps are adjustable, and the skirt is long and flowy. To sum it up, the dress is DARLING. I’m wearing the “blue” which is 5th from the left on the top row, but it’s obviously so much more than just blue. And it actually comes in 28 color options. I also love the classic black, the “dark blue”, the “orange” with a tiny floral, and the “pink” with a geometric pattern. This is a really great dress. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
dress / chunky gold hoop earrings / similar necklace / gold bracelet stack / braided sandals (very similar from Amazon)
11) melamine serving bowl / When I was placing a grocery order a couple of weeks ago, I threw this super cute melamine set into my cart! It’s pretty big (which makes it perfect for a big salad), and the serving pieces are great. At just $16, it’s a total steal.
3-piece serving set / portable blender / green and blue striped t-shirt dress / earrings
12) gold sandals / So #12, #15, #16, and #18 were all featured in an outfit together earlier this week. The sandals are simple and totally chic. And because of the GAP sale going on right now, all pieces are under $50. I love the black embroidered blouse so much that I had no option but to get the cream colored one as well. I was powerless.
embroidered blouse / shorts / sandals / necklace options / bracelet options / straw tote option
It’s obviously everything that is great about the black one, but now in cream! So for those of you that still tend to shy away a bit from black in the summer, this cream number gives you a great option. It still has the black accents, and it looks great paired with the black shorts. I highly recommend these shorts. They are so easy to wear, so comfy, and so flattering. I featured them in olive green last month, but they also come in navy, beige, pink, off-white and red. As mentioned above, I’m wearing a petite small, but I like my shorts short. If you want some length, just get the regular!

13) sunglasses / I have these sunglasses in black and adore them (I’m wearing them in black in the picture directly above!). They are so lightweight, they don’t give me a headache at all, and I love the frames. At under $15, they are a total steal.
14) bra / I don’t know how this magical bra does it, but it gives shape and support that you typically only get from underwire bras. And let me say it just one more time, the comfort level is insane. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND for you to give this bra a try. Click HERE to read all my thoughts and get a thorough review with lots of close up pics. Whether your underwear drawer could use a refresh, or you’ve just been looking for a wire-free option to add to your collection, you need to give the bra a try. At this price and with Prime Free Shipping and Free Returns, what do you have to lose? The answer is NOTHING, but you have everything to gain! Your boobs will thank you. So will your shoulders. And your back.
This bra is really great for all day wear as well as lounging at home. It will provide the support you need and the comfort you desire.
I. LOVE. THIS. BRA. #andithinkyouwilltoo
Warner’s Women’s Easy Does It No Bulge Wire-Free Bra
It’s got perfectly rounded cups (I don’t enjoy a pointy boob), and the entire thing is stretchy and feels amazing on. Doesn’t it look SO COMFY? This bra even has extra side coverage panels that smooth out underarm bulge, not that any of us have any underarm bulge. #coughcough #winkwink

15) embroidered blouse / See above.
16) straw tote / See above.
17) pink slide sandals / How cute are these buckle slide sandals? They are so similar to these DV slides that are $90, but much more affordable at just under $25. I would suggest sizing up 1/2 a size. You can see them styled with 4 different outfits on me in this post.
The pink are my favorites for sure! The color is so pretty, the shape is so classic, and I’m in love with the tortoise buckle. Right now they are ON SALE, and the $24 price tag is incredible. I would pay $130 for these chic sandals without batting an eye. Again, size up 1/2.
18) drawstring shorts / I love these shorts. They are pictured above with the cream embroidered blouse.

I’m ordering the Gap top in black. Breezy and hides sweat. 🙂
Anddddd I bought those Yasso bars this week…wow…decadent! I wonder if the other flavors are equally as good?? And two bars is technically one serving! lol
Thanks for all great recommendations, as usual!
