I’ve got the 2nd installment of 5 Fabulous Finds today.
The first time I did this back in June, I highlighted stuff I had ordered but hadn’t tried yet. But in today’s post I can already personally vouch for 4/5 items. The #5 jeans (both pair!) are on their way to me. I ordered the wrong size the first time I ordered them, but I loved them even when they were too tight – so I’m feeling confident that once the next size up arrives that I’m going to realllllllllllly love them.

1) denim dress / OH MY WORD this dress.
But before I talk about all the reasons I love it – full disclosure – I’m in the petite of this dress and it’s wayyyyy too short. HOWEVER, I love it so much that I’ve already ordered the regular size. Now here’s the part that sucks: The regular size dress is on backorder and set to ship on 10/25. STILL, I LOVE IT SO MUCH that I went ahead and ordered it. I don’t think I’ve ever done that before. I’m an instant gratification type of girl, so having to wait for this dress for 2 months isn’t going to be easy BUT THAT JUST GOES TO SHOW MUCH I LOVE IT. I absolutely cannot risk not getting my hands on this dress the second it’s available. This is also the first time I’ve ever highlighted something on the blog that isn’t immediately available, but I don’t want y’all to risk not getting it either. This is the kind of dress that everybody needs to have in their closet.
Okay….now let’s talk about the dress.
I mean, a denim dress is often an automatic YES for me, but this one has so many extra cute details. First of all, look at those sleeves! They’ve got a subtle puff, they have the cutest gathered details, and they give the dress so much personality. And then there’s all of that tiny pleating down the front with the slightly frayed edges. COME ON. These details take a regular denim dress and make it feel really special. I also love the little buttons and easy, swingy fit. It’s relaxed and comfy, but it’s still oozing style.
And y’all knew I wasn’t going to leave all that denim alone, so I piled on a couple of colorful necklaces. The bright beads against the denim are so much fun.

Here’s a picture of it on the model to show you what it looks like in a more appropriate length. 😉 I mean, I know it’s still short on this gal, but I’m imagining that she’s probably at least 5’10”.

I know fragrance is such a personal thing, but this brand has developed a serious following, and I totally get why. The whole idea is that these fragrances work with your body, so they smell like YOU – just better! They’re not really a perfume company, they call themselves a “functional fragrance brand”, and I get it.
I think Taunt is my favorite. It has notes of bergamot, vanilla, and amber and they are so good together. You get a little freshness from the bergamot, but then a warm vanilla and amber come in that make it smell cozy. Now, when I say vanilla, it’s not like a sugary cupcake vanilla. I don’t like vanilla candles, so it’s not like a sugary vanilla at all. It’s warm and sophisticated and just easy to wear. Chris immediately noticed the first day I wore it. He was like “You smell so good! What is that?”
If you’re somebody who doesn’t want to smell overly floral, overly sweet, or like you just sprayed on a bottle of perfume, these scents could be right up your alley.
And this might sound weird, but I love the way it sprays on. It’s like a continual mist. I spray it once over my body and once in my hair actually. I feel like it really gives it staying power.

3) Harlow set / I’m absolutely in love with this set, and I know y’all are going to love it too. Like if I could design a set, this is the set I would design down to every last detail.
But it’s the vintage feel and the sparkles that really have me swooning.
The mix of the gold with the silvery setting around the stones is gorgeous. The necklace and the earrings are both super sparkly, but they don’t feel fussy, and they are great for everyday wear. In fact, I’ve worn the earrings every single day since I opened them (so that’s for around 3 weeks now).
Of course, even though it’s the best deal, you don’t have to get the set. You can choose to get just the earrings or just the necklace.
The set is the best deal though because it’s already 10% OFF, and then I’ve got a 20% OFF code stacks on top!
CODE: TAKE20
The code TAKE20 will get you 20% OFF the set and anything else on the site (except for design collabs or items already included in THE BIG SALE).
Harlow set (or just the earrings or just the necklace)

It’s just so lovely.

The pieces are nice enough to wear with a little black dress, but they’re also great with a classic tee and jeans look.
And this set would make such a great gift. It looks special, the pieces go with everything, and you don’t have to worry about whether somebody already has something similar because these pieces are definitely unique.
It’s hard to capture sparkly and delicate jewelry with an iPhone, but here’s a look (although it doesn’t come close to doing the pieces justice)…
Harlow set (or just the earrings or just the necklace)

Again, it’s hard to capture their beauty, but here I am wearing both pieces at the ranch with a boxy tee and denim shorts.
Don’t forget to use the TAKE20 code!

Here I am with just the earrings (details on the necklace and dress in just a sec)…

And here’s another look at the set. I’ll talk about the top and the bag on Friday’s post, so sit tight for that.

4) floral shirt dress / Okay, this dress is SO GOOD! It’s from my friend Cassie’s new collection with Avara that dropped yesterday!
The whole collection is fabulous and you can use the code CASSIE15 to get 15% OFF (one time use only, so shop carefully).
The colors! The print! The fit! It’s a gorgeous button-front midi dress with the prettiest bold floral print, and I absolutely love the colors. The deep plum background feels perfect for fall, but all of the pinks, reds, blues, and greens make it so fun and happy. And you know I’m also going to love a dress that basically styles itself.
The tie waist gives it great shape (and is super flattering), and I love the relaxed sleeves and easy, flowy, skirt. It looks polished without feeling fussy, which is pretty much my favorite kind of dress. And think about this… it would be PERFECT for fall family pics! I do want to give you the heads up that it is quite long. I’m 5’4″, wearing heeled booties, and it’s still quite long. This is great news for you taller gals. 🙂 I’m wearing a medium, but I actually think I would prefer the small.
And I obviously had to add the turquoise heart necklace. The pop of turquoise with all of these colors makes me happy.

How cute is this top, also from Cassie’s collection! You know I love a good gingham, and this crimson and cream combo is speaking directly to me. Hello GAME DAY. It’s classic and pretty, but the tiny puff in the sleeves take it up about 17 notches. I mean, come on. They’re so good.
I also love the really the neckline. It’s open and flattering without being too low, and it gives the perfect little spot for a great necklace. I picked this red heart necklace because sometimes MORE IS MORE. 😉 For size reference, I’m wearing a medium. Don’t forget to use the code CASSIE15 for the top.
And can we please talk about these jeans? The high waist, the wide leg, the cropped length, AND THAT CUFF. They are so dang cute. I love how they give the whole outfit a little something extra instead of just being another pair of jeans.
This outfit is easy, happy, and just plain cute

This ruffle cardi is feminine and fabulous. It’s super soft, a beautiful neutral, and the ruffles have a scalloped edge. Notice the ruffle on the sleeve hem too! It’s lightweight and has a bit of give, making it a perfect layering piece. I’m wearing it over a tee here, but it would also look great all buttoned up as the main attraction. It’s feminine without being overly sweet, and the warm brown color is great for fall. For size reference, I’m in a medium.
Underneath I kept things super simple with a basic white tee. I love how the crisp white breaks up the brown and lets all of the pretty sweater details stand out. Plus, a great white tee under a cardi is one of those combinations that always works.

5) darkwash bootcut jeans and medium wash bootcut jeans / This is probably going to be a letdown, but it’s going to be Friday before I talk about these jeans. BUT I’LL TELL YOU THIS RIGHT NOW. They are FANTASTIC. As mentioned at the beginning of today’s post, I know I’m going to love them because I’ve already tried both pairs on, but they were both a size too small. The new sizes are supposed to arrive tomorrow and I can hardly wait!
Here’s just 1 outfit plan with the medium wash jeans…

That’s it for today, y’all! See you back here on Friday!
