This post is sponsored by Express and ShopStyle. The product selections are my own, and I only highlight and promote pieces that I truly love. Thank you for supporting the brands that support Sheaffer Told Me To!
Today’s post is with Express, and I’m pumped. Spoiler Alert: You should be too.
I haven’t shopped Express in a hot minute, but ladies….I’m thrilled with my finds today.
I found 4 sweaters, 3 pairs of jeans, 2 pairs of shoes, and several accessories that I’m crazy about. I SEE YOU, EXPRESS.
Here’s what I learned with my order…
Express knows how to make realllllllllllllly soft sweaters. Seriously y’all, these sweaters are crazy soft. Like the softest of the soft. I also learned that Express likes a statement sleeve. Two of the sweaters today have really dramatic sleeves, and they are a whole lot of fun. And you know what else? They know what they are doing with denim. They’ve got lots of really great jeans, and most of them come in varying lengths. WHICH IS AWESOME. Oh, one more thing. They carry lots of different shoe brands on their site, and I’ve got 2 pairs of really great shoes in today’s post. So yeah, Express is doin’ their thang and I’m here for it.
I’ve got 4 outfits for you today, and I’m confident you’re going to find something you like.
AND GREAT NEWS! Their RETAIL THERAPY SALE IS GOING ON RIGHT NOW (but it ends tonight), and you can get 40-50% OFF of almost everything in today’s post (excluding the shoes). NO CODE NEEDED, but today is the last t0day, so don’t delay!
Click HERE to check out all of their NEW ARRIVALS for women. Almost all of it is ON SALE.
We’re going to break each outfit down, but let’s start out with a bang.
How much fun is this sweater!!!
It’s a beautiful camel color and it is incredibly cozy.
And talk about a dramatic sleeve!
The sleeves are pleated, poofy, and amazing.
In addition to the sleeves, the cable knit design is perfection. The design is so classic, but the sleeves give this classic sweater a wonderful modern twist! The fitted hem defines the waist and makes the large proportions of the sleeves not too overwhelming.
For size reference, I’m wearing a small.
You’ll be seeing this pave layered necklace throughout today’s post. It’s gorgeous in person, and it adds great sparkle to all of the outfits.
These jeans are minimally distressed and a great medium wash. For size reference, I’m wearing my regular size 4.
As with most jeans at Express, they come in short, regular and tall! I think that’s awesome and wish that all brands would provide these varying lengths with their jeans. Great job, Express!
Now let’s talk about the sneakers.
Because they are FABULOUS.
If you’re a regular reader, you know I’ve been showing another pair of Dolce Vita sneakers for a couple of months now. I LOVE THEM. However, they are more colorful, and some of you have inquired about a more neutral pair.
Well, here you go!
They are neutral, but they have some serious spunk with snake skin, crocodile texture, and sparkle!
They are truly fantastic.
True to size for me, but size down if between sizes.
Neutral, with attitude.
I think this outfit is so much fun because of the puff sleeve and the sneakers, but it somehow reads as chic to me as well!
If you’re a fan of ruffles, then this sweater is for you!
I went for the black, but it also comes in ivory, camel, and wine. The bodice of the sweater isn’t boxy like so many sweaters are right now, so if you prefer a more fitted sweater, you’ll be happy. The drama is in the exaggerated ruffle sleeves. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium, but I would prefer a small.
In addition to the ruffle, it’s got a really tall ribbed cuff. This slimmer fit of the sweater and the slim fit of the lower arm is what makes the large ruffle really work and not be too overwhelming.
These jeans are officially called “faded black”, but I think they are closer to a dark grey. I love the color. The color and the frayed released hem make them edgy and cool.
They are super stretchy, hold their shape, and are a mid-rise (but on the higher side). I happen to really like the rise and think they are very flattering. For size reference, I’m wearing my regular size 4.
The booties are fantastic, more on those in a minute.
I love all the neutrals together.
This mock neck dolman sweater is soft, thick and incredibly cozy.
It’s a very relaxed fit, but I love that it’s slouchy without being sloppy.
It just feels great on. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.
These jeans are different than any other jeans I have in my closet.
They are super soft, and the design detail of the seams down the front and sides make them feel a bit retro and funky. For size reference, I’m wearing my regular size 4.
Check out these booties! They are so cool. They’ve got a beautiful taupe toe mixed with snakeskin and an animal print on the back.
I was worried when I pulled them out of the box that they were going to be hard to get on since there’s no zipper, but they slipped right on without any trouble. And they are very comfortable. True to size for me.
This outfit has the jeans from Look #1 and the booties from Looks #2 and #3. It’s the same jewelry, but I’m highlighting a new sweater.
Once again, this baby is CRAZY SOFT. It skims the body without hugging it at all and is a perfectly relaxed fit. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium in this one.
Again, a neutral but with some serious sass.
I just can’t get enough of these super soft sweaters and all of the easy to wear jeans.
And let’s not overlook the shoes.
SO. DANG. GOOD.
I would love to know how many of y’all are regular Express shoppers, so sound off in the comments! After doing this post and falling in love with these items, I’m not sure why it had fallen off my radar. Don’t you worry, it’s firmly back on!
