10 Spring Outfits

Happy Monday, Y’all!

I can hardly believe it, but after an ice storm last week and no school for 4 days, we now have GORGEOUS weather.

Yesterday was a high of 66, and today is a high of 69!

That’s Texas for ya.

Last week McKinney and all the surrounding cities SHUT DOWN, but now it’s margarita on a patio weather! #whichismyfavoritekindofweather

In honor of the amazing spring temps, I’ve got 10 great spring outfits for y’all. Many of the outfits today contain lots of the same items, which proves they are great basics to have. You’ll see the same pair of jeans, the same shoes, the same accessories, and the same denim jacket in several of the outfits. Versatile pieces that you can rotate in and out of outfits are necessary for a great closet, and today’s outfits highlight lots of mixing and matching capabilities!

Let’s get right to it…

OUTFIT #1

I showed y’all this striped sweater a couple of weeks ago, and I have no doubt it’s going to be an essential piece in my closet all spring and summer long. Lightweight sweaters are what I always reach for when transitioning between seasons. I wear a small in this sweater. Pair a great sweater with jeans and sneakers, and you’re good to go! I already own everything in this outfit except the bag and the bracelet, so those are on their way to me.

I’ve shown you the jeans before too. They are the perfect mix of a straight leg jean and a skinny jean. These are very comfy, super flattering, and their ankle length is what I always want to wear when the temps warm up. You’ll see them a couple of times in outfits today as well as the accessories and the sneakers. For size reference, I sized down to a 2 in these.

These multicolor earrings and this turquoise bracelet are an easy way to infuse some great color into any outfit!

OUTFIT #2

Y’all know I’m a HUGE fan of Vuori athleisure pieces, and these new pastels look awesome with my new sneakers. The green joggers are even ON SALE, but I think both joggers look great with the heather grey tee and blush hoodie. The sunglasses are ones that I’ve had for probably 3 years now, and I highly recommend them. They’re a great price point and so comfy to wear. The huggie earrings are small, sparkly, and I wear them all the time. I sleep and shower in them with no problems.

OUTFIT #3

A dress with a denim jacket is one of my very favorite outfit formulas of all times.

This Madewell dress is gorgeous! I love the cut, I love the pleats, I love the ruffle hem, and I LOVE the color combo. I don’t really wear spaghetti straps anymore, but I’ll totally wear this dress with a denim jacket thrown on top!

With spring and summer approaching, you’ll soon be pulling out some styles that might require a strapless bra. Well, this strapless bra is a MUST HAVE. I first found it I think almost 8 years ago now, and I’m telling you, it’s the best strapless bra I have ever owned. I even wear it when I don’t have to wear a strapless. It’s that good. Please take my word for it and try it for yourself. You’ll be amazed.

Do you see the cognac TB Miller sandals? I don’t own them yet, but I will soon. Last year I bought my first pair of Miller sandals, not knowing if they were going to be worth it. WELL. They were totally worth it to me. They were easily my most worn pair of sandals last year. I bought them in the neutral “light makeup” color and love them, but now that I know they are worth it, I will definitely be purchasing them in this cognac too.

OUTFIT #4

Here’s another easy spring uniform to slip on and head out the door!

This dress is my favorite kind of dress: a swingy shape, a bit of a longer sleeve, and a flirty hemline. It’s 100% cotton, and the great pattern and vibrant color make it so much fun! It would of course look great with sandals and wedges, but I love the casual vibe when styled with sneakers.

If you don’t have a denim jacket that you love, you really need to add one to your closet. You’ll be so surprised at how often you will reach for it! OUTFIT #5

I have lots of casual outfits today, but I wanted to include a business casual outfit too! This one is obviously perfect for an office environment.

I love this beautiful green blouse, but it also comes in navy, black, cream, royal blue, bright pink, and light pink. The ruffle adds a nice feminine touch.

And listen to me ladies, if you work in an office, you really need to own these must have pants. They are quite literally the best black pants you will ever own. They are from Wit and Wisdom, and they have the mold and hold technology we all love. They pull on like leggings and have a faux zipper, but they do have a clasp closure on the waistband. The waistband is my favorite part because it’s stretchy too! These are work pants that feel like pajama pants. If between sizes, you will definitely want to size down. I can wear both the 2 and the 4 (regular, not petite). I’m 5’4″ for reference.

OUTFIT #6

Another great spring sweater, this one is from J Crew Factory! J Crew Factory has tons of adorable spring pieces, but this sweater definitely stood out as a favorite. I love the fresh green and cream stripes!

These are the ankle jeans I’ve been raving about (remember I sized down), and I think the green looks awesome with the cognac sandals and bag. And I brought even more happy colors into the outfit with the accessories!

OUTFIT #7

I first showed you these grey jeans this past Friday. If you remember them on me, they are a straight leg and ankle length. True to size for me, I think they are an awesome option to have in your closet to mix things up! This pretty blouse is feminine with beautifully soft colors that pair perfectly with the grey denim. Classic gold jewelry and a cognac bag and shoes finish it off.

OUTFIT #8

These camo pants are a spring must have for me and they are a great way to infuse some fun into your wardrobe. Like the jeans, the grey jeans, and the black pants from above…these camo pants are also from Wit and Wisdom. And by now, y’all know that means they are stretchy, comfy, and flattering as all get out!

OUTFIT #9

Each and every year I love these swingy tops that Madewell puts out, and this blush popover is no exception. I thought an all neutral look would be so pretty, so I styled it with white denim and all neutral accessories. These tops are oversized with a very relaxed fit, so make sure you size down.

OUTFIT #10

For the last outfit today, I’m highlighting a handful of super affordable pieces and you’ll never believe where they’re from! Actually, maybe you will believe where they are from. Now that I’ve been sharing super cute finds from Walmart for well over a year now, I think lots of us that used to not be sure of Walmart fashion options now fully believe that they often have some really DARLING pieces.

I’m in love with the sporty chic vibe of this zip up track jacket and the colors are to die for! This pink and orange colorblock combo screams spring! I can’t wait for it to arrive! The jeans and sneakers are from Walmart too.
