Let’s talk about THIS top. It had me at embroidery. And then it doubled down with blue and white. And I must say, it had me feeling ALL SORTS of fashion blogger-ish with the off the shoulder business. 😉 (But good news, if you aren’t a fan of off the shoulder, there is a pic at the bottom of the post that shows what it looks like worn ON the shoulder!)
Size References: I’m wearing a small in the top (true to size), a 27 in the jeans (true to size), and the wedges are true to size as well. Several of the items in today’s post are from Nordstrom, and today starts the TRIPLE POINTS EVENT that runs through May 8th! Here are the details on the entire outfit:
And once again, I’m wearing THE BEST STRAPLESS BRA EVER. #wortheverypenny
So the top is clearly the star of show. But let’s be honest. the rest of the outfit is pretty fantastic as well.
The tassel bracelets come in 2 different colorways, and I’ve got a code for them! The code TASSEL20 will get you 20% OFF your bracelet order! These bracelets are great for jeans and tees, for maxis, for shorts….but they’ll also be great with swimsuits and cover-ups! If you are going on a beach vacation this summer, then you for sure need these!
And check out these frayed hem jeans. They are all the rage right now. The ones I’m wearing are from Vigoss, and I have a friend that LOVES her pair…but something was a bit off on the fit for me in the waist (and you know I typically love Vigoss). However, I really want a frayed hem jean for spring and summer, so I’m going to try THESE and see if they work better for me (non distressed and a medium-dark wash). There’s also another affordable option HERE (distressed and light color wash). And now that I’ve had my wedges for a couple of months, I can’t recommend them enough. I’m telling you, you can wear them ALL DAY LONG.
Sidenote: next time you are at Mi Cocina, order this drink. And tell them Sheaffer Told You To. #justkidding #theydontknowmyname It’s called a Dilemma (I think that’s how you spell it). It’s a mango margarita, a regular margarita, and a mambo taxi all layered up in this pretty little glass. #muydelicioso And purely fyi, when you are eating with a blogger friend and order a pretty drink, you just nod when she tells you to put your hand on the glass and then whips out her camera for a fun shot. Thanks for all the pictures Cassie!
Back to the outfit…if you are interested in my exact bag, here’s what you need to know. Click HERE and complete the following steps: 1) choose the navy geometric pattern, 2) choose the lipstick/rose color combo for the stripe, 3) choose the floating monogram. This tote is the Savannah, and it has a zipper and interior pockets. It’s my favorite size and style for sure. Click HERE to see all of the choices that you can get this pattern on (ex. bigger tote, a duffel bag, a make-up bag, a diaper bag, a laptop case, etc…). And you can use the code PTMTSAVE10 for 10% OFF your entire Barrington order!
THESE SUNGLASSES are fab and they are ONLY $12!!! Now, here’s the thing, I have a really large melon and cheap glasses typically squeeze my brain. I probably won’t be able to wear these glasses for long periods of time, but I liked the color and shape (and price!) so much that I got them anyway. And MY EARRINGS are real wood, so unique, and light as a feather!

And for those that prefer ON the shoulder, here’s what it looks like not pulled down off the shoulder! And I have to say, I think I’ll probably wear it like this most often.
And because I’m nothing if not thorough ;), I’ve put together some other favorite embroidered items out there right now from Old Navy, J Crew, Gap, Anthropologie, Nordstrom, and LOFT! You know, just in case you are as smitten with embroidery as I am.
That’s it for today girls! See y’all back here on Friday!
