WHAT I’M LOVING

I think my favorite time of year is right now… from Christmas Eve to New Year’s Eve. The days are filled with family and friends, and I love the feeling of not knowing what day it is and just going with the flow. These are my least productive days of the whole year AND I FREAKING LOVE IT.

WHAT I’M REMINISCING ABOUT

I know it just happened, but let’s do a little reminiscing about Christmas.

Chris’s sister and her family weren’t able to come in from California this year :(, but we spent both Christmas Eve and Christmas day with my parents, Chris’s parents, and my sister’s family.

I didn’t get any family pictures on Christmas Eve, but I was able to grab a picture of Carter and his buddies after the Christmas Eve service at church.

We spent Christmas morning at home just the 3 of us, and it was great! We had a slow morning in our pjs and loved every minute of it. (Carter got Invisalign a couple of weeks ago, so those are the little Invisalign buttons that you are seeing on his teeth.)

Everybody came over again at noon on Christmas day.

I love seeing these 3 boys together. Bennet is 3, Brody is 9, and Carter is 14!

WHAT I’M EXCITED ABOUT

THE SALES THAT ARE GOING DOWN RIGHT NOW ARE INCREDIBLE.

I shared lots of sales on Monday, but I found more items on Nordstom yesterday! Some of the items are SALE ON SALE, and some are just regular sale. Everything that is SALE ON SALE is absolutely flying off the shelves.

I own several pairs of slippers, and I think that pretty much all slippers are good, but these slippers are exceptional. They hug my feet, they keep them quite warm, AND THEY’RE DARLING. They only come in whole sizes. I’m pretty typically a 6 1/2, and I ended up going with the 6.

WHAT I’M WATCHING

I’ve been on the computer alllllllllllll day long, and I’ve had Lifetime movies playing in the background alllllllllll day long. It was nightmare neighbors day on Lifetime. I have to say, you can keep your sweet and sentimental Hallmark movies, GIVE ME THE CRAZIES. I want to know about jealous exes, killer cheerleaders, and nightmare neighbors. I don’t care about the local inn keeper that falls back in love with his high school sweetheart that came back to town for a Christmas cookie convention. I want to see the story about the ambulance chasers that kidnapped a girl from the scene of her car wreck and took her home to replace their dead sister to placate their psychotic mom. I watched that exact movie on Monday. Now THAT’S good t.v. 😉

WHAT I’M WEARING

I have two pairs of these pajamas, and I’m telling you, I’ve worn them an embarrassing amount of times over the last 2 weeks. On the day after Christmas, I wore 1 pair the entire day. I showered that night, and I put on the other pair. They are sooooo freaking good. And they are UNDER $20! Sizes and colors are limited, but I’m telling you, grab your size if you can. It doesn’t matter what color/pattern…just get a set! For size reference, I’m wearing a small.

LAST 3 THINGS I’VE PURCHASED FROM AMAZON

1. I’m excited about this sweater jacket. I grabbed it in khaki in a small. It has incredible reviews, so I’m super hopeful it’s going to be awesome!
2. This slouchy pullover zippered sweater in blush (officially called “pink”). These sweaters that zip up with the big collars are soooo in right now, and I was thrilled to find this version from Amazon. I got a small.
3. I was out of face sunscreen, so I grabbed my favorite face sunscreen (recommended by my dermatologist) so I could have it for the ranch. I wear it every single day, but having it for a ranch trip is extra important.
