It’s soft, lightweight, and not to too bulky at all. I’m wearing the “2 khaki” here, but I also have the “2 hot pink”. I bought the large because I want to wear it with leggings too. It’s definitely oversized in the large.

This sweatshirt is under $20 right now, and it’s fine. The site says it’s $71 OFF right now, but I’m telling you right now that nobody in their right mind would pay that for this sweatshirt. Like I said, it’s fine, but nothing to write home about. I’m really only showing the outfit because I want to talk about the shoes.

I’ve talked about these sneakers before, but they’re worth talking about again. These sneakers are a wonderful and affordable alternative to the expensive fashion sneakers that are super popular right now. These are crazy cute, and they are only $19.98! They were sold out of most sizes last month, but it seems they’ve now been restocked. They have memory foam insoles, good tread on the bottom, and they really are quite comfortable. They do run big, so I would suggest sizing down a 1/2.

Y’all know I love a great lounge set. Always have, always will. This one is just under $35, and it’s super cute. It’s cozy, it’s warm, and it’s oh so comfy.

I’m wearing the taupe heather, but you have 4 total colors to choose from. It’s a PERFECT travel set. I would suggest sizing down. I’m wearing a small, and it’s still roomy.

And do you remember this shirt/shacket? It is still on sale for ONLY $25 right now. I love the big green and cream checks, but it actually comes in 21 colorways so you can just choose your favorite. There are so many that I like! It has over 2,500 5 STAR reviews, and I have to agree that it’s a really great shirt.

I knew I wanted it long and roomy because I wanted to be able to wear with leggings, so I sized up to a large. It’s definitely oversized, and it will be great with leggings, but I wanted to show that even though it’s oversized that I can still wear it with jeans.

WHAT WE ARE EATING

Y’all, I haven’t been good this month at taking pics of what I’ve been eating. But I tell you this, I’ve been eating super healthy.

A new favorite has been these Amylu White Cheddar and Jalapeño Chicken Burgers from Costco. We grabbed them on a whim one day, and my goodness are they yummy.

Here’s when I ate it for lunch one day last week. I put it on a Orowheat sandwich thin, I sprinkled the top with my favorite pepperjack cheese from Trader Joe’s, and I dressed it with a spicy mustard and lots of burger fixins. I even ate it with a side of sauteed squash and zucchini. I told you, super heatlhy y’all.

WHAT I’M LOVING

So these slippers have got to be my most worn footwear this month. I LOVE THEM. So cute and cozy!

This one link has tons of super cute slipper options. Everything from ghosts and spider webs to reindeers (the reindeers are adorable).

This cozy blanket is a favorite too. It’s an awesome designer dupe for Barefoot Dreams and a fraction of the price.

Chris and I started walking in the mornings back in August. We leave right when Carter leaves for school (at 6:50), and I love seeing the sun rise. It’s a daily favorite for sure. We’re up to 3 miles now, and we are really noticing a difference in our health.

Last year I highlighted the daily leggings from Vuori. I loved them, I wore them a lot, but then I thought I had lost them. I didn’t understand how or where I’d lost him, but the point was that I couldn’t find them anywhere. I have plenty of other leggings, so I didn’t buy another pair.

WELL! I found them last week! WooHoo!!!! They were all crumpled up in the bottom of a drawer, but I’m so happy to have them back in the athleisure rotation. They are INCREDIBLY flattering and crazy comfortable. And here’s the deal, if something is flattering AND comfy, I’M ALL IN.

They feature a high waist, a wide waistband, a drawstring tie (that’s so cute), a perfect 7/8 ankle length, and cuffed ankles. And they live up to their name, because you’re going to want to wear them daily. For size reference, I’m wearing a small in the leggings.

The performance hoodies and the energy tees are favorites as well. I wear both all the time. I wear mediums in both.

WHAT I’M REMINISCING ABOUT

I was able to pull some October pics from the early years, and I gottta say, I am all up in my feels right now.

I think Carter was 3-4 weeks old here. His little onesie had tiny little pumpkins on it.

Carter’s 1st Halloween. My goodness, all 3 of us are BABIES.

His 2nd Halloween. He was just a little over a year old here.

I remember this like it was yesterday. Walking around the downtown square in his costume and looking oh so cute.

Look how blonde he is here!

I could eat him with a spoon.

And I think he was 3 here. Not a blonde baby anymore.

WHAT WE’VE BEEN UP TO

We’ve been at the ranch 2 out of the last 3 weekends.

We met the Harris family there during fall break, and the boys had just as much fun as they always do.

They did lots of fishing.

Lots and lots of fishing.

Lots of Ranger riding too.

Every time they come (which has probably been 8 or so times now), we get a picture of the boys on this road.

Here they are on the same road back in 2021. I wish I would have put them in the same order in the pic above!

We came home for a handful of days, and then we went back for a quick little girl’s weekend.

My friend Lisa has been to the ranch countless times (like probably 20x over the years!), but nobody else in this group had been! I was super happy to have the group down, with the exception of Andrea (who we missed terribly). Chris and Lisa’s hubby came down (Chris and Brandon are great friends and Brandon has probably been to the ranch 50x!), and they “tended” to us girls all weekend. They drove us around, they cooked for us, and they taught some of the girls how to shoot skeet. It was a good time!

I can hardly wait to have them back down again.

I love The Voice. The addition of Snoop Dog has really taken it over the top for me. 🙂

We’re watching Season 5 of Yellowstone again in anticipation of next season starting next month. I CANNOT WAIT.

WHAT ARE MY RECENT AMAZON PURCHASES

I just took a screenshot of my most recent Amazon order, and here’s what I got….

This Maria Badescu drying lotion has a cult following. It’s pink on the bottom and clear on top. Resist the urge to shake the bottle up, and put a q-tip in to grab some of the pink product from the bottom. Put the pink stuff on your blemish at night and get ready to be amazed in the morning. Your blemish will look soooooooo much better, and in many instances, it will basically be gone. The results are truly incredible. I’ve used it on Carter too when he has had a zit pop up here or there, and we are all always amazed at how well it works.

The Miss Mouth’s stain treater is the best stain treatment I have ever used. I haven’t found a stain yet that has stood a chance. Ketchup? No problem. Mud? No chance. Wine? Please. It even gets out oil spots with ease! I used to buy the 3 pack in the small bottles, so I was thrilled when they recently came out with the bigger spray bottle. It’s pricey, but it’s worth it.
