WHAT I’M EXCITED ABOUT
I’M EXCITED ABOUT BOYS WEEKEND AT THE RANCH! Friday around 10:00 a.m. we are headed to the ranch with another family and 4 of Carter’s friends for a good ol’ fashioned boy’s weekend. Think lots of fishing, skeet shooting, Ranger riding, and a fish fry. Tons of pictures to come!

WHAT WE ARE EATING
Y’all. I’m embarrassed to say that we are eating out wayyyyyyyyyy too much this summer.
When we are eating at home, we are keeping dinners simple with lots of grilling and fresh veggies.
I will say that for lunch I’ve been eating Factor meals. I know, I know, hundreds of influencers have been talking about Factor meals for years now. I finally tried them about 6 months ago after my friend Cassie kept singing their praises. Here’s the deal, they are expensive, but they really are soooooo good. I’ve probably had about 20 of the meals so far, and while I’ve really liked all of them, there are probably 6-8 or so that I absolutely love.
Below you will see the Shredded Chicken and Spinach Pesto Tortellini, one of my favorites. The tortellini, sauce, and chicken are all really yummy. I also love the roasted tomatoes, zucchini, peppers, and onions on the side. Those sugar snap peas are some leftovers from dinner the night before. I was really hungry, so I added those to my plate as well.
Below you will see some of my favorites. Now again, the meals are expensive (I think they end up being around $13 each, but that price goes up or down depending on how many you order for the week). I think they are seriously delicious, and the convenience is so worth it to me. I put them in the microwave for 2 – 2 1/2 minutes, and THAT’S IT. Chris loves them too and is actually amazed how much he likes them each time he eats one. Carter hasn’t tried any yet, but I know there are several that he will love as well. Now, I don’t order them every week, but I have ordered them 7x so far. The app is super easy to use, and if I want to skip a week, I just hit skip! If I want meals that week, I go in and personally choose my favorites. They arrive cold, but not frozen. It’s FRESH food!
This is not sponsored (wish it was!), and I don’t have an official code or anything, but if you are interested in trying the service for a super reduced price, just e-mail me at pinteresttoldmeto@yahoo.com and I can pass along your e-mail where you can sign up with my personal link. If you do this, you will apparently get up to $150 off your first box (depending how many meals you choose).
UPDATE: I just found a link! You can click HERE.

WHAT I’M WEARING
I continue to have requests for dress recommendations, and since I aim to please ;), I have a handful of new ones for you today.
Okay, ladies. HOW CUTE IS THIS DRESS.
Y’all know I live for a smocked waist, and the high ruffle collar makes this dress extra special. And the skirt length and ruffle make it a little bit flirty. I was drawn to this green floral, but it also comes in a classic black that could easily be dressed up and a dark navy floral that is very pretty. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
ruffle dress / pearl drop earrings / heart toggle necklace / bangle bracelet / clear wedges
This adorable shirt dress is a cotton linen blend and has a teeny tiny striped pattern that is super cute. I’m loving the drop waist and tiny pleats on the skirt, and I think the overall style is just darling. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
shirt dress / straw tote / pearl drop earrings / heart toggle necklace / bangle bracelet / colorful beaded bracelet stack / clear wedges
You are probably going to find this hard to believe, but I think this is the first Lily Pulitzer dress I’ve ever tried. And the verdict is in: I LOVE IT. I’m not typically drawn to the Lily Pulitzer patterns, but I really like this solid option a lot.
It’s a puff sleeve linen dress and the color is GORGEOUS. It’s coral, but a deep and vibrant coral that is seriously stunning. You slip the dress over your head, and it has a great split neck and elbow length sleeves with a subtle puff. It’s a classy dress that I think will look great on lots of different body types. I’m wearing it with wedges here, but you could easily dress it up for a wedding with a nice pair of heels. For size reference, I’m wearing a 6.

Here’s another linen dress, but I would say that this one is more “orange sherbert” than coral. It’s got a more relaxed fit than the dress above, and I would say that it’s got more of a casual feel. The double flutter sleeves are adorable, it’s got pockets, and it has more of a relaxed and swingy fit than the dress above. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
flutter sleeve shift dress / turquoise earrings / heart toggle necklace / initial necklace / bangle bracelet / colorful bracelet stack / clear wedges
Now let’s take a break from dresses to talk about this cutie little set! I think this is a really fun look. I’m wearing a medium in the shirt (it’s pretty boxy, but it’s supposed to be) and a small in the shorts.
camp shirt / pull-on shorts / straw tote / pearl drop earrings / initial necklace / bangle bracelet / barely there flip flops

WHAT I’M LOVING
Carter is done with his Invisalign journey!
Dr. Crossley has offices in both McKinney and Frisco, and the process was so easy. If your child qualifies for Invisalign, I highly recommend it over traditional braces (if you have a responsible kid). I say that because your kid has to take personal ownership of wearing the aligners every single day except for when he is eating, and he has to be able to keep up with them.
The biggest positive for us wasn’t even the fact that they were barely detectable while he was wearing them… the biggest positive was that the in-office visits that are required for Invisalign are so much less than the amount of times you have to go in with traditional braces. Carter is a kid that doesn’t ever want to miss school (he hates getting behind in a class), so having a low number of appointments was key for us.
Thank you, Dr. Crossley and staff for a super easy journey and a great final smile!

WHAT I’M REMINISCING ABOUT
I don’t think this really qualifies as reminiscing, but I want to post about it, so I’m going with it because I want to post about these towels again. (These next pictures were taken 3 years ago, and I can’t believe how little he looks!)
This 4-pack of towels is an incredible deal, and they are made of 100% USA cotton! They are really cute and soooo soft!

This beach towel has the perfect combination of thick, plush velour on one side and cotton terry loops on the other to provide the ultimate experience for both you and your family. The generous 30×60 size makes this versatile towel the perfect fit for every occasion – the pool, beach, lake and at home in the bathroom. Easy to wash and dry as well as compact, making this towel convenient and enjoyable.

WHAT WE’VE BEEN UP TO
We were at the ranch with just our little family a couple of weekends ago, and we had the best and most relaxing time.
The boys fished all weekend along and probably caught around 60 or so fish by the time it was all said and done.
This boy sure does love to fish, and I sure do love this boy.

WHAT I’M WATCHING
We just binged the entire season of America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders Season 2. This might be a hot take (or maybe not?) but I thought it was just “eh”. I really enjoyed the first season, but I found myself bored a lot this season. Just me?
