Today is a SUPER FUN day over here at Pinterest Told Me To, and I have been waiting for what feels like a sweet forever for it to get here!
And I’m not the only one that has been excited for it,  Shay is in on the fun too!
Both of us have been looking forward to today since December 31st, which is when we originally cooked this whole thing up.
Here’s how it went down….
I was on my way to the ranch with my fam for New Year’s Eve when I had an idea for a giveaway.
I called Shay to see if she wanted to team up with me because what I was wanting to give away is something we both have and we both LOVE.  Like really REALLY LOVE.

 In honor of the giveaway today, and to get you girls SUPER excited about adding them to your closet, I wanted to look back at some of my Red Welly outfits that I’ve had on the blog in January. (Remember that I’ve only had them since Christmas!)

I am WEARING THE HECK out of these boots.
If it’s
raining, you can rest assured that THESE babies are on my feet.
I worried at first if the red was going to be versatile enough, but I feel sure that I’ve proven (in just 4 short weeks) that they can be worn with sooo many different outfits and add such a huge punch of style to every one of them.
Yes, they’re expensive, but my Cost Per Wear is going to be teeninsy.
What?  It’s a word.
I PROMISE you that once you have a pair of Hunters, you will wonder how you ever made it through a rainy day without them.
AND…just like me….many of you will wear them SO MUCH that you will totally
 be able to justify a 2nd pair.
(Don’t tell Shay I’m telling you this, but I can GUARANTEE you that she’s at home right now seriously considering a 4th pair. )

This outfit was soooo simple, but I think it was my favorite outfit from January.
Probably because it combined 2 of my favorite things in my closet:
The Red Wellies (Duh!) and One of my Three Military Jackets (Double Duh!)

    Love your blog! I have black Hunters but now I NEED a bright color! I wear my wellies at least 5 days per week to walk my dog at the very least. Also, I have nude flats, 3 Pleione shirts – white, black, grey, the fringe scarf, and black and grey leggings, and Sam Edelman boots. No, I'm not upset about shopping so much because of your blog. You have SAVED me money because I have the best winter wardrobe that is cohesive now.     This is probably my favorite giveaway yet! I need me some wellies for an upcoming trip to Britain this spring. And while I'm mentioning it- got any cute pinterest styles for 2 weeks in London and hiking around the countryside without packing a billion large suitcases? Styles that can go between city and country? Would love to see you and your bestie Shay team up on that series- packing for a getaway that shows your clothes going from city to country looks!       Girl! I live in Edinburgh, Scotland, so yes and yes to the wellies! So in Spring it will probably still be cold, so packing for Britain is a cinch because all you really need are cute coats (and coordinating wellies of course) because that is all you will be able to see in your photos anyway! Wellies are a beast to pack though because they're bulky and heavy, so you'll want to wear those on the plane, bring another pair of comfortable leather boots (skip the Uggs! they will likely get wet and ruined), and shoes comfortable to hike in (tennis shoes will work especially if you want to work out while on your trip since this would kill two birds with one stone unless you're a hard core hiker and have legit hiking shoes (I"m obviously not:))). And for clothes – layer! Basic long sleeve t's like the striped shirts Shay loves from gap are pretty much what I wear every day – throw on a cute scarf to "change up" your outfits, and remember, all you'll be able to see in your photos is your coat! Check the weather before you leave to see what kind of coats to bring. Edinburgh is usually 10 degrees colder than London, so I'm not sure what to advise. I love my peacoat since wool keeps you dry even if it gets wet and my down coat for when it's really cold and my north face denali fleece for when it's not as cold, and of course a rain coat. I find that I don't wear my puffer vest here (unfortunately) because it's too cold to wear it without a coat and too hot to wear it under a coat though London in the spring may be the right temperature for it. Have a great trip!!!

    I've been daydreaming about Spring & Wellie weather though I don't own a pair (yet?!). Here in NW WI we've had our coldest Winter in roughly 18years. Yuck! I've got flower beds & garden beds buried under all that snow & plans brewing for them in my head. Those boots would not be collecting dust, that's for sure. Plus, I live in a rural area — they're fancy for my neck of the woods! My bestie lives in the city and is always dressed really sharp so she'd probably cover the more chic aspects of Wellie ownership! lol
