SENIOR YEAR IS STARTING

I truly cannot believe we’re here, but Carter starts his senior year on Thursday. Howwwwwwwwwwwww! Some of y’all have been around here since he started kindergarten!!!

Senior activities have already started, and a couple of weeks ago he painted his parking spot. (Now, I’ve gotta say, he actually just took over somebody’s spot from last year. He had his wisdom teeth out the day they picked spots and we weren’t sure he was going to feel like painting, so he just chose a spot he was okay with. He painted over the old name, stenciled his last name onto the spot, and called it a day.) Some of the spots are absolutely fantastic, but this was all we had in us. 😉

This square neck top is easy, breezy, and oh so cute. It’s a lightweight linen blend with soft gathers across the chest and a relaxed fit. And this square neck, y’all. I love a square neck. It’s embroidered and so much fun. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.

This adorable dress is a cotton gauze with a flowy fit and a tiered skirt. I’m wearing the ivory pink blossom, but it also comes in a solid navy. For size reference, I’m wearing a small. I sized down because the bottom seemed like a lot of fabric, but I will say that the small is tight across the chest. I actually think a medium would be better for me in the chest, but I definitely needed a small for the lower half.

Y’all know I love a good set. Usually the sets I grab are more casual, but this one is FANTASTIC. I of course love the set worn together, but you’ll see that I also like wearing the pieces separately too. So much bang for your buck! The color is gorgeous, and I love that it’s different than anything else I have in my closet.

The embroidered bubble top is a 100% crip cotton poplin, fully lined so the cut-out embroidery doesn’t show any skin, and it’s got a fun bubble hem. I prefer to wear my bubble hem pulled down, but you could of course pull it up again if you want to show your midriff. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

The embroidered midi skirt is also a crisp cotton poplin. It has an elastic waist, pockets, and is partially lined. And look at the scalloped hem! I got a small in the skirt.

Also I just grabbed these for myself…. NOW ON SALE … normally $140, now just $91! I love how bright and happy they are!

NEIMAN MARCUS

Neiman Marcus reached out to see if I’d be interested in highlighting some of their fall items, and I thought it would be fun to do a couple of outfit collages with mainly Neiman’s pieces.

Y’all know I’m typically a Nordstrom girly, but I do get requests from time to time for Bloomingdale’s, Neiman’s, and some high-end online boutiques. I don’t normally shop at the higher level price point that Neiman’s is often known for, but they do have some brands that I’m familiar with and love. For example, Tory Burch and Mother are brands that I already own, and it was fun to see some of the pieces they had. This first outfit is right up my alley. I love it all.
