Y’all. IT’S DECEMBER 15th.
Christmas is upon us.
Are you ready?
I’m not.
I mean, I’m getting there…but I do still have some presents to buy. I’ve made a goal for myself to knock those out today, so by tomorrow I should be GOOD. TO. GO.
I’ve got plenty of presents for Carter, I gave all of my family (mom, dad, sister, brother-in-law, and nephews) presents last week, and I have my sister-in-laws family covered. But here’s who I’m missing: my father-in-law, and I don’t know if you caught it, but I have ZERO presents for Chris. ZERO.
I don’t feel too terrible though, because I think he has zero for me as well. Haha! We keep asking each other for ideas, and both of us keep shrugging our shoulders. Oh well, I’m sure we’ll come up with something.
I’ve got a couple of collages today for you, and I hope they will help you cross the remaining names off your list.

MEN’S AMAZON ULTIMATE GIFT GUIDE
I’ve been receiving lots of requests for more men’s gift ideas, so I put this collage together! Everything is from Amazon, so everything is super affordable and super easy to grab.
The soft-shell jacket is UNDER $40, has near perfect reviews, and looks super similar to Chris’s North Face jacket. The Jack Black gift set is a great way to start your man on a skincare routine, and it’s ON SALE right now. The moccasin slippers are UNDER $30 and have thousands of 5 STAR reviews. The tire pressure gauge makes a great stocking stuffer, and a G Shock watch is almost always a fantastic gift idea. Carter and Chris both have a G Shock and wear them every single day.

When at the ranch during the fall and winter months, we always spend a lot of time gathered up with lots of friends and family members around the camp fire.
And although we have TONS of fold up chairs that stay down at the ranch, it’s these specific chairs that people always race to get to first. AND THEY MAKE PERFECT GIFTS.
What’s so special about these chairs?
Well, the absolute best feature is that they boast Spring-Action Rocking Technology™ that offers smooth, comfortable rocking. Yes, ROCKING!
And their Eazy-Fold™ handles let you quickly fold the chair for transport or storage, which makes them perfect for all sorts of events including camping, tailgating, neighborhood get-togethers, and kid’s sporting events! I promise you, all of the other parents will be jealous when you are sitting on the sidelines in this bad boy!
Get one for yourself, get one for your spouse, and go ahead and get them for the grandparents that show up at all of your kid’s games too! They will thank you again and again. It really is a perfect gift and an awesome price point at just under $70.
In addition, these FANTASTIC chairs have powder-coat steel frame for lasting use, padded arm and back rests for maximum comfort, and they even have a built-in cup holder.

MORE GIFT IDEAS
This collage is mainly for the ladies, but it does have 1 gift for a baby and 1 gift for a young boy or teenager. There’s no real theme for this collage, just gifts that I know I would be excited to give or receive.
The cross necklace is a great price point at just under $40, and it’s so delicate and lovely. The Dermaflash pore extractor is ON SALE, and I know it’s a beauty tool that many people swear by! If you have an infant to buy for, or perhaps a new mom, the Sophie the giraffe teething toy is a no brainer. All babies and moms love it! Looking for a functional stocking stuffer? This meat chopper needs to be in everybody’s kitchen. It makes browning ground beef sooooo much easier than when using a regular spatula.

CHRISTMAS ACTIVITIES
We celebrated Christmas with my mom and dad and my sister’s family last weekend. My sister’s family is traveling to Wisconsin this week and staying thru Christmas, so we went ahead and celebrated together. I grabbed this picture of my parents with their grandkids, and I made a little makeshift Christmas card with these graphics on ig stories! I LOVE THIS PIC.
Brody (8), Bennett (2), and Carter (13)
My dad and the boys read the Christmas story. It was a tradition we started last year.
Last year it was so sweet hearing their little voices read the story of Jesus’s birth. This year, it was sweet Brody’s voice and a full grown man’s voice when Carter was reading. Haha! (Carter had stripped off his sweater after an aggressive game of basketball with Bennett’s new basketball goal.)
And for a quick walk down memory lane…this was last year…
There was no Christmas Eve service at church last year (due to Covid), and we wanted the focus to still be on the real reason for Christmas, so after the boys read the Christmas story from the Bible, they painted these baby Jesus canvases. It was a sweet time together, and I LOVE how their canvases turned out. Go up and down between the below picture and the above picture. How is Carter only 1 year older in the above picture? #timeslowdown #please
Love these people.

SANTA ALERTS
At y’alls request, I’m going to keep throwing Santa Alerts into posts as long as the items will still arrive in time for Christmas!
This is the watch we got Carter last year. He wears it every day and loves it. It would be a great present for a boy from like 12-16 years of age.
Carter loves chilling on his bed. I hope he loves this foam pillow. It’s supposed to be great for reading, watching tv, or just relaxing.
This makeup bag is adorable. It’s large and holds a ton of items! Use it in your purse or use it for travel.
I’ve shared this blanket before, and now that I’ve had it for a bit, I can confirm that I love it! It comes in several different patterns and colors, so check the delivery date on each of them because they vary.
This satin pillowcase was given to me by Erika last year at our annual Favorite Things party. It took me months to take it out of the packaging and try, BUT NOW I CANNOT IMAGINE sleeping with any other pillowcase. At under $20, it would even make a great stocking stuffer.
I love a great pair of fuzzy socks. So, I was pumped when I found this gift pack of fuzzy socks! Give them all to 1 person or put them in different stockings.
This Himalayan scrub kept popping up on my page, so I finally ordered it for myself.

COMFY OUTFIT
I’m all about comfy outfits when running around town, especially this time of year.
This zella tee is AWESOME, flattering, and functional. When I’m wearing leggings, I most often want a tee with a relaxed fit, and this one really delivers. It’s a little bit longer in the back, and it covers your backside, which is perfect. To make sure it’s plenty roomy, I’m wearing a medium.
The full zip hoodie sweatshirt is made of a soft cotton blend, and I know I’ll be grabbing it ALL THE TIME. This is the “grey porpoise”, but it also comes in black, navy, and “blue marlin” (which definitely has purple tones). Again, I’m wearing a medium.

Here’s the same outfit, but with a white tee instead of a black tee. Also, I half tucked the tee to show off the ribbed waistband.

HARVEST SALAD
Do you need an easy side for Christmas day? Grab several bags of this Harvest Apple Salad Kit from Trader Joe’s. The greens are a spring mix, and it also includes unexpected white cheddar cheese, dried apple cinnamon chips, and pecan pieces. To make it a meal for myself, I decided to add diced Honeycrisp apple pieces and chicken.
It was delicious. It would also be great with dried cranberries thrown in as well, I was just out.

7 WAYS OUR JOY IS EVERLASTING
I really loved the message at church last weekend. In fact, as we left, I was telling Chris it was one of my favorite sermons I’ve ever heard. I’ve already sent the link to some friends and my mom, but I thought I would leave the link here for y’all too! Click HERE! It’s Part 3 of a series, but you can pick up on Part 3 and be good.

That’s all for today, y’all! Have a wonderful weekend with your people!

Alisob says
Thanks for sharing more gift ideas! And those pictures of the boy’s reading is absolutely the sweetest.
Roya says
My husband and I also usually have no idea what to get each other at Christmas time. Our anniversary being a week prior doesn’t help. An idea for you and Chris, though – how about a weekend away for the two of you? I know I’d give up all presents to have that opportunity (or, quite frankly, just a weekend by myself at a hotel, but that’s the tired mom in me talking…). Merry Christmas!
Sheaffer says
We’ve talked about this, Roya! We are terrible at getting away just the two of us, but this is a great idea! xoxo
Kathy Cranford says
Hey Sheaffer, just wanted to tell you I purchased the cute blanket scarves from Accessory Conceirge at your recommendation (and with your discount) and will be giving them to my teacher friends. The scarves are soft and cozy, and the cute “Merry” tag and gold string make a lovely presentation. Thank you for continuing to TELL ME TO! Merry Christmas!
Sheaffer says
I’m SO HAPPY to hear this, Kathy!!!! Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment! xoxo
