 I get tons and tons of blog comments, e-mails, and facebook messages from you sweet ladies each week.  And for that, I want to say “THANK YOU!”.
I know it takes time to leave a comment or send me a message, but I so appreciate each and every one of them.  I just love the sense of community that surrounds this blog!
Please know that I really try to respond to everybody, but it often becomes a bit overwhelming.  Here’s a tip, if you want to make sure you get a response from me, e-mail me at pinteresttoldmeto@yahoo.com

Responding to blog comments is often difficult because so many of you
 have your settings set to “no reply”.  Plus, sometimes I “publish” a blog comment during the day with every intention of going back and replying to you…and then life happens….and then I forget.
Sorry if you are one of the people that has slipped through the cracks lately!!!
The last couple of weeks I’ve received such great reader feedback that I decided I needed to do a whole post dedicated to these e-mails!
I especially love the e-mails where you girls are writing me simply to tell me how much you LOVE and ADORE something that I’ve recommended. 
What can I say?  I LOVE TO FEEL VALIDATED.

I know I’m going to have hits and misses, but I just get so tickled when I hear about how you ladies are loving something as much as I am.
LOVING SOMETHING TOGETHER IS SO MUCH MORE FUN
THAN JUST LOVING IT MYSELF!

So, today I’m going to share some of those “OH MY GOSH…I LOVE IT TOO!” e-mails.
If you are on the fence about one of these items, I think hearing an endorsement from somebody other than myself sometimes help you figure out if you really want the item or not! If you guys enjoy this, it will be a semi-regular series.  And I hope you like it, because I definitely want to be able to use this graphic again!!!!  Once again, thank you Andrea!

First up.
E-mails about the MUST HAVE jeans.
Sheaff. ER!!!!  (I feel as if you’re one of my girlfriends, so I can
punctuate your name like that!) I started reading your blog about two
months ago, and boy am I ever hooked! I have made several purchases
based on your recommendations already, but today I got my first MUST
HAVE in the mail. The Vigoss Jeans–my first ever pair and my first ever
Nordstrom purchase. We live out in the boonies and probably 3 hours
away from a Nordstrom. But oh, the wondrous doors you’ve opened for me.
I’m in love with the jeans. They are so perfectly distressed and fit so
perfectly. I can’t wait to wear these babies in public! I am buying so
many more pairs of these and will be shopping at Nordie’s (I pretend I’m
old friends with them, too) again soon.  Thank you so much for PTMT–I
am a huge fan and a “must-have” believer!! 🙂

 I just got my Vigoss jeans
delivered yesterday and I LOVE them! I tried them on in the store and
didn’t buy them because I thought they were a little tight..however,
when I got home,I couldn’t stop thinking about them. I went online and
saw that most people said to buy a size “up”. Normally I wouldn’t do
that because I firmly believe that if you cave and buy a size up, you
will eventually grow in to that size. I had to remind myself that these
are juniors sizes, so it’s OK to buy up this one time…Im so glad I
did. Just one size up fits so much better and is so much more
comfortable. Thanks so much for turning me on to these jeans..my college
daughter is going to be so jealous!!

Next, e-mails about the Penny boots.
OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!
I’ve never commented before but read every day!! I
returned some boots to Nordie’s today that I just didn’t love and
decided to look for some new boots. I told the girl I have freaky HUGE
calves for my small feet and she told me she had the perfect boot just
when I mentioned I wanted to try on the Penny, which is exactly the one
she had in mind!
The zipper slipped right up over my jeans (!!) like a
dream come true – literally!! I’ve been trying to find great leather
boots for years and NOTHING ever fits!
The leather is sooo soft and
comfy and they look wonderful! Needless to say, they came home with me!
I might even sleep in them tonight! They’re also coming with me to
Europe this winter – so excited!!

I feel like I’ve been searching for a  wide-calf boot that I actually lifemy whole life.  Well, I’m happy to say my search is over.  These totally fit the bill.  I got them for me  in the wide calf version and for my daughter in the regular version.  Classic enough for me but also given the stamp of approval by my picky fashionista daughter who is a sophomore in college. So glad to end my search.

I am sure by now
you are receiving tons of e-mails on all your great suggestions, but i had to
add another.
I am not a
shopper. Don’t misunderstand, i love to shop, when i have the time and
resources.  With two young little ones and a full time job, shopping just
isn’t something i have a lot of time for.
Your blog is
amazing for moms like me.  Last summer, i finally started trying to update
my wardrobe from pre-kids, to post kids. I don’t think i actually shopped for 5
years while being pregnant and in between pregnancies.
I started by going
to Loft. I needed something a little more ‘mature’ than my old
highschool/college clothes.
Then i found you,
you make life easy!
My most recent
purchase was the Toms wedge.
I do not spend
that amount of money on shoes, normally. Boy has my thought process changed. You
get what you pay for in a shoe.
I LOVE them. We
took a trip to NYC on Saturday.  I wore the wedges simply based off wearing
them one time before and everyone elses reviews of how comfortable they
are.  They were amazing! I walked the city from 10:30 am until 7 pm when we
boarded the bus home. (and i was pushing an umbrella stroller with my 5 year old
the entire day)

If you do have the TOMS booties, then you need to make sure you get these socks.  Really,  you need to get them if you have any booties that hit you low on the ankles.
They are the socks I
wear with my TOMS canvas slip ons, and now I wear them with my TOMS booties. 
They obviously aren’t for warmth,
but they are necessary.

E-mails about the stretchy cords

I know you said you haven’t tried the cords on yourself, but I’m telling you to do it.  Do it now. They are really stretchy and very flattering. And you were right, they look good with flats, but they look just as great tucked into tall boots.  I got the dark khaki color, and as soon as I got them and tried them on I hopped online to get the powder blue. 
 Now I’m just waiting on a cold front.

E-mails about the Hunter boots
I just had to share the picture below, and thank you for convincing me
to buy my first pair of Hunter Rain Boots.  I {heart} them!  And
yes, that scarf peeking out is the plaid scarf from Nordstrom that is
featured in Shay’s closet this month.  I also {heart} both of your
blogs!  My boots came yesterday…..just in time for our trip to
the pumpkin patch today.  It was a beautiful, perfectly perfect fall day
in Central Pennsylvania today.  And it was the day after a very rainy
day….which equals a potentially muddy pumpkin picking experience.  But
I felt prepared. 🙂

These boots are wonderful!  The perfect
meeting of fashion and function.  Had I worn my riding boots, my Toms,
any of my casual flats, or even my sneakers, I would have been thinking
about every step as we walked through the giant pumpkin patch, the apple
orchard, the farm area, and even the grassy parking area.  But I was
able to be blissfully unaware of the potential muck, while still being
stylish and put together. Love it.  By the end of the day today, my 58
yr old mother decided she is getting a pair too.  You are affecting generations here. 🙂

SO, I just had to share this picture I quickly snapped this afternoon.  It’s kinda a work of art, don’t you think?

Hi Pinterest Told Me To!  A couple of weeks ago you posted that a reader told you that the Ellerby boots were on sale again, and I snatched them up immediately.  I almost bought them during the Anniversary Sale, but I missed the boat and totally regretted it.   I wasn’t about to miss out again, so I snatched them up.  They are just what I was looking for.  I noticed the reviews are all over the place, but I give them 5 stars.  They do run big, so order a 1/2 size to a full size down. And when you posted this morning about wearing black, brown, and grey together, I got even more excited.  These boots will make the mixing so easy.  Love your blog and all your suggestions.  I have the MUST HAVE wedges, jeans, and shirt and I love them all.

It’s Meredith again.  The crazy girl that e-mailed you several weeks ago to tell you that I had never worn a scarf that wasn’t strictly for warmth.  I certainly had never worn one all day as an accessory.  I was looking for a recommendation for a “starter” scarf.  A scarf that would be easy to style and would help me ease into the scarf world.  You recommended the colorful knit infinity ones, so I took the plunge.  I got the bright and colorful one, and to my surprise, I love the scarf.  Even though I ordered it, I was fully expecting to still not like it.  But I was wrong!  In fact, I like it so much that a 2nd scarf is on it’s way to me.  
I ended up ordering that one with all the fringe that you posted last week.  
So, I just thought you should know that I went from never wearing a scarf to buying 
2 in a matter of like 10 days.

UPDATE ON BOBBI BROWN TINTED MOISTURIZER
You ladies might remember a couple of weeks ago when a reader (Hi Liz) e-mailed me about one of her MUST HAVES, a Bobbi Brown tinted moisturizer.
I was intrigued.
So I got some.
AND OMG.
I love this stuff.
I’ve only been wearing mineral powder foundation for the past 4-5 years, but I figured I’m a big girl now, and a tinted moisturizer was probably a good idea.
I’m often times hesitant to try to things like this because I have very sensitive skin.
However, I tried this (I’ve worn it for 5 days now), and I love it.

    I'm like "this close" to buying the Hunter boots. I know my husband won't understand. But darn it, it was raining last Sunday and it certainly didn't put me in a great mood to run through a parking lot with 2 toddlers in my TOMS. My feet were soaking wet. That is NOT how I want to worship God 🙂 I was feeling a little bitter. ha. That sounds like a viable argument for boots to me 🙂 Thanks as always! Love your blog!

    Sheaffer, Do you treat your leather boots or Toms booties with any type of protective spray? I have the Penny Boots and same Toms as you and haven't worn them yet because I am wondering if they need something on them to protect them. I have LOVED all of your must haves that I have bought; Toms booties, Penny boots, two shirts, Vigoss bootcut, bracelet….oh my! Really wanting that fringe scarf right now!!!

    There are several things I'm meaning to try on when I get a chance, such as those cords. Stretchy = awesome! I have to say the Vince Camuto black pants were not a good match for me. The size I ordered was right, although they were way too long for me, but that can be easily fixed. The real problem was that there are no beltloops. That's something I need to remember to check before I order pants. I can't wear pants without beltloops because my waist size is always fluctuating. So back those go, but hopefully I will find those cords to try on while I'm there returning the pants 🙂 Have a good weekend!

    Just wanted you to know–got the scarf too (not the colorful one) and wearing it today. I love it!! So soft and feels like a great deal for only $20. I also bought the jeans-still on the fence. As a girl with a bootie but small waist–I have to wear a longer top because the infamous gap that troubles me with so many jeans. That being said–I did check out the Loft after you mentioned they revamped their pants and bought two pairs that I love and fit to perfection!!! Oh, and I bought the boots – not the Penny ones, darn it, but the "Saevon" and they are awesome (but still longing for the Penny). Anyway, thanks for sharing and inspiring!!

    You are so good at connecting with your readers. You definitely have an eye for amazing pieces. You and Shay have pretty much become my personal shoppers. I have jean jacket, leopard shoes (but me and leopard go way back), Sam Edelman Felicia flats in the cognac color. I am ordering the Penny boots, the jeans, that multi-colored scarf in the purple tone and the must have shirt. The Sanibel pendent is on my Christmas list. My closet thanks you! Plus I am finally taking full advantage of my clothing allowance my job gives me!

    Shaeffer, Im having such a hard time with Hunters….I've tried three pairs and they just dont fit!!!! Im so sad. I wear an 8 in most shoes, but the hunters were way to big in an 8 and the 7 was too small.

    Also I bought the Ellerby boots at the anniversary sale but in black nd the black/brown but couldn't justify having both so i returned the black/brown. I'm totally regretting it!

    Oh and I just ordered the Penny boots!

    And I've been wearing Vigoss boot cut (best butt jeans ever, according to my husband!)

    After reading about the bra you mentioned I decided to try it out. I went in to Nordstroms to get fitted and have been wearing the wrong size for years. After properly getting fitted I went home and ordered the bra. It came in the mail today and I love it. It's amazing how a bra that fits actually feels good. I found another brand of bra, Chantelle, that I plan on purchasing in the future. Thanks for the tip.
