STRIPES AND LACE ON SALE! JUST GO FOR IT!

I got a facebook message from a sweet reader this morning (Thanks Amanda!) that THIS shirt is now 33% off.  So, you know what I’m going to say…
 So…in honor of the sale…I’ve copied and pasted the first post I did on this shirt.
I tried to take off the links that are no longer working, so all links should be good to go!

Okay, so I have a new shirt.
And I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that in about 3 minutes lots of you girls are going to have a new shirt too.

I’ve had it since Monday, and I’ve been itching to get it on the blog.
I even teased the shirt last night on instagram, and I know I had most of you at “navy stripes”…. 

but I held back what I love most about it.
Now before I show you the WOW factor,
 take a minute to fall in love with the navy stripes and the high neck.
I love some of my tees to have a high neck.

I had fun pairing the stripes with my pink jeans (option HERE ON SALE with great reviews!), denim jacket (options HERE, and one is 40% OFF!), and a colorful necklace (sold out, sorry!) the first time I wore it.

But here’s the kicker girls…..
In addition to the stripes and the high neck, there’s also…wait for it……….
LACE.
I know.
So, are you intrigued?

Well…for the skeptics out there…you are about to get to see the shirt in approximately 23,000 outfits.
Maybe one of them will convince you.
I’ve already worn it twice (duh), but I also just played around with it to show you different ways to wear it.

So you’ve already seen the first time I wore it (with my pink jeans and denim jacket).
The 2nd time I wore it I went a totally different direction.

I paired it with my favorite new blingy jewelry, my distressed skinny jeans, and my beloved pillar box red Hunter boots.

So, because I’m completely and totally bonkers such a
dedicated blogger, I thought I would show you how versatile this shirt
is by wearing it in lots of different outfits.  And I mean LOTS.

This look is the exact same as the one above, but I switched out the HUNTER BOOTS for MY NEW FAVORITE WEDGES WHICH ARE NOW 40% OFF and I wore my cuffed jeans. 
My pictures do The pictures do not do these wedges justice, but they are fabulous.
(I’m not sure why cell phone pictures taken in my bathroom at 5:00 a.m.
in the morning don’t highlight the fabulousness of these shoes?!?  Ha!)
And then I decided I wanted to show you the shirt with shorts…because
even though it has sleeves, it’s still a great weight to be paired with
shorts.
Here it is with some white cut-offs (option HERE from Nordstrom and HERE from LOFT) and my Sardinia pendant and some simple hoops.
And here it is with my coral cut-offs (similar HERE) and my signature necklace c/o Bauble Bar that I am still TOTALLY obsessed with.
Note to self.  Start applying the self tanner DAILY.

My white jeans are actually from Target several years ago, and I love the way they fit. 
I forgot I had them because they were too small for me last summer, but
I found them again and can wear them and actually breathe at the same
time.  Which is a total bonus. 😉

And then I threw it on with jeans again, and I switched out my wedges for my MICHAEL KORS MOCCASINS.

And I switched out my blingy jewelry for THESE amazing teal drop earrings c/o Kendra Scott, my SIGNATURE NECKLACE c/o BaubleBar, and my KIMBERLY NECKLACE.
I also stacked things up on my wrist with a WHITE CERAMIC WATCH, some Sequin braclets (lots now on sale!) and my Stella and Dot renegade bracelet (you can also find a Nordstrom knock-off HERE). 
I don’t like the Nordstrom version quite as much as I do my Stella
version, but it’s a pretty good alternative, and it’s about 1/2 the
price.

So, now that you know that I’m clearly head over heels for the shirt, I
want to tell you a couple of reasons WHY I’m so crazy about it.
*I hate to state the obvious, but NAVY STRIPES.  Hello.
*Most of my tees for spring and summer are scoop neck or v-neck, I like that this
 one has a high neck.
*Also, the weight of this tee makes it perfect even for summer.  It’s
thin (which I normally wouldn’t like), but I do like it for this because
I plan on wearing it all summer long.
*I absolutely adore the lace.
*Love a 3/4 sleeve.
And listen, if you don’t love your arms, this tee is the perfect answer for you for summer.
It’s light weight AND it covers your arms.
And purely fyi, I also plan on wearing it the following ways:
*with my dressy cropped khaki pants, my putty wedges, and a mint green necklace*
*with my super light powder blue shorts and my hot pink Kendra Scott earrings*
*with my kelly green elastic waist skirt from J Crew Factory and colorful accessories*
*and if I had a neutral pencil skirt, I would totally wear it with that with leopard heels*
HOW FIERCE WOULD THAT BE?  That’s how Shay would wear it for sure!
I’m telling you. It will go with everything.
OH WAIT!

The fatima necklace is so delicate and pretty, and I’m just so glad I have it!
