Special Spring Pieces! And a Code!

You guys, it’s March! And I’ve got some really special spring pieces for you today!

If we’re being honest, today’s post is a bit of an Avarapalooza.

I’ve worked with Avara on a couple of occasions pretty recently, and I’ve heard from many of you that y’all love this boutique just as much as I do. They are constantly launching new collections and pieces (which makes shopping so much fun!), and I would say that although they do have some great basics, they really have a knack for finding SPECIAL pieces. Lucky for us, the great majority of these special pieces are adorable AND affordable, and I’m sharing lots of them today.

This Juliette dress is my favorite kind of dress with an A-line silhouette, a split neck, a short hem, some puffy sleeves (that aren’t too puffy), pockets, and A RUFFLE SKIRT. These types of dresses look the best on my body type, and I’ve gottta say, I love a dress without a zipper. I find that most dresses with zippers are often too tight on me (especially across the chest), so these types of dresses you slip over your head really work the best for my body type.

This one is actually an Avara exclusive that you won’t see anywhere else, and I’m in love with the vibrant colors and fun print. This one would also be cute with a denim jacket and sneakers.

For size reference, I’m wearing a medium. It is a bit tight across the chest and the site recommends sizing up, but if you’re not super busy, I don’t think you will necessarily need to. Extended sizes available.

A super similar fit, but a much sweeter print, the Hazel dress could be dressed up with heels or dressed down with flat sandals.

The A-line silhouette is totally working for me again, and I love the contrasting striped trim on this one. It isn’t tight across the chest like the one above, so I would say true to size on this one. I’m wearing the medium.

If you prefer a longer hemline, this belted dress is absolutely lovely. The repeated botanical print is so very charming. I think this dress will surprise you, I know it did me when I slipped it on! It’s a lightweight cotton that doesn’t wrinkle, and the v-neck and tie waist are just as cute as can be. I love it here with wedges, but I also think it would be adorable with sneakers worn super casually. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium. Extended sizes available!

LADIES. THIS TOP IS FABULOUS.

First of all, the embroidery work is GORGEOUS. This blouse is what I call an outfit maker. It’s incredibly special and will elevate anything you pair it with. I’m loving it here with my must have boot cut jeans, but I know I will end up styling it with lots of different things, including denim shorts.

If you already own the ecru jeans that I’ve been screaming and shouting about for the last couple of months, this blouse pairs PERFECTLY with them!

I’ve shown a lot of florals today, so how about this super cute stripe (horizontal stripes on the banding and vertical all over) for a change! And the green is so pretty and fresh for spring.

For size reference, I’m wearing a medium, but I did find this to be tighter than I’d like. So if you are busty, I would suggest sizing up. Extended sizes available.

You can’t really see the details in this picture, but the stand-up collar with smocking has to be my favorite feature of this top. I mean, the smocking is just so lovely (you can see the neck better on the site). But the pattern? It’s a close second. AND THE COLORS? They are stunning.

If you think you love the top, you are going to go totally cuckoo over the dress. LOOK HOW PRETTY! This would be great at a summer baby or bridal shower, or you could even dress it up for a summer wedding.

And I’ve got one more top for you that launched today. This floral blouse is cut more generously than all of the other tops, so if you like a top to be a bit more roomy, this one would be a great choice. The colors are beautiful, and the pattern is whimsical. The added details of the gathered sleeves and the smocked chest are so nice.

Red and pink together is one of my very favorite color combos, and this sweater does not disappoint! It’s very soft, it’s a nice medium weight, and I love the sleeve length. It has a mock collar (which isn’t the best neckline on me), but I know that many of you love it. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

Tropical, chic, and a new favorite for me. This floral blouse is great with regular denim, but oh my word I love it with cream denim. The subtle puff sleeves and tie closure are adorable, and the crisp cotton makes the whole thing feel elevated. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

This dress is feminine, flirty, and pretty much perfect for both spring and summer. The vibrant blue pattern, the billowy ruffle sleeves, the split neck, the tiny ruffle collar, the smocked waist… it is all SO GOOD. It’s comfy, flattering, and just the cutest.

This cardigan is very soft and the color combo is unique and so pretty. I’m wearing it here without a tee underneath, but as you can see, it is a deep V so in the future I will probably always wear it with a tee. It is definitely oversized, so I would recommend down if between sizes. I’m wearing a medium, but I need the small.

Okay, y’all. I’m IN LOVE with this denim jacket. However, I’m wearing a medium here, and I definitely need a large. It has little to no stretch in it, so I definitely need some extra room in the chest and back. It’s the puff and pleated sleeves that I’m completely smitten with. This jacket is absolutely adorable and perfectly feminine. I’m definitely ordering the larger size and can’t wait to have it in my closet. I’ll be wearing it all spring and summer with white denim, with skirts, and with every kind of sundress you can imagine.

Y’all know I think a denim jacket is a MUST HAVE, and I love the extra details on this one.

So I love this cardigan, but I think it runs really small. I’m wearing a medium here, and I couldn’t even think about buttoning it up without worrying that a button was going to pop off and fly across the room. I would definitely suggest sizing up.
