Happy Monday, Ladies!
I’m practically giddy.
We’re talking sneakers and sweaters today, and my comfy loving self is over the moon.
I have no doubt that this sneaker and sweater combo is going to be my favorite outfit formula for Fall. I mean, what could be better than cozy sweaters and comfy sneakers paired together? The answer is NOTHING. And get ready, because today’s post is FULL of inspiration. I’m going to show you 2 pairs of sneakers and 5 sweaters today, and all 5 outfits have stretchy jeans too. Because here’s the deal, sneakers and sweaters deserve to be paired with stretchy jeans. It just makes sense.
Let’s Get Started!
The first 3 outfits today all have a pair of funky sneakers that I’m pretty much obsessed with, so for this first outfit I went all black. I wanted to really highlight these awesome sneakers! More on the sneakers in a minute.
The sweater is very lightweight with a relaxed fit. It’s super soft, has horizontal ribbing which gives it great texture, and can be dressed up or down. The v-neck is pretty deep, so it would actually look great with a cami or bralette under it as well. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.
These jeans are so stretchy and comfortable that they actually don’t even feel like denim. They feel more like a jegging, but they definitely look like a regular pair of jeans. I’m wearing my regular size 4 here, and I turned up just the tiny little hem to make them just a bit shorter.
To be honest, the reviews are mixed on these. Some complain of a really strong chemical odor, but I don’t notice a smell at all (and there are others who agree with me). I don’t wash these after every wear, so they’ve maintained good color. But as with all black jeans, over time they will most likely fade.
NOW LET’S TALK ABOUT THESE SNEAKERS.
I know bloggers get a bad rap for saying “obsessed”, BUT IF THE SHOE FITS Y’ALL. #seewhatididthere
BECAUSE I’M FULL BLOWN OBSESSED.
There’s a certain designer sneaker brand that is super popular right now, and even though I love the sneakers, I just never made the leap because of the price tag.
These sneakers have all the bells and whistles that the designer sneaks do at a much more affordable price point. They are also insanely cushy and comfortable. I’m a big ol’ fan. I’m wearing my regular size, but if between sizes, I would size down a 1/2.
This outfit isn’t as edgy as Outfit #1, but the sneakers still kick the fun factor up several notches!
This sweater is appearing much more fuschia in pictures than it is in real life, but it isn’t the red it appears on the site either.
I think in real life it reads much more like a “garnet” or “beet” (but with some hot pink undertones), and I really love the true color. It’s lightweight, it’s soft, it has a relaxed fit, and it’s the perfect weight for a half tuck. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.
And if you don’t have the sunglasses yet, watcha waitin’ for?
I love darker denim in Fall and Winter, and the raw hem on these jeans gives them a really casual vibe, which makes them perfect for sneakers! They’ll also look great with flats, mules, and booties.
And yes, they’ve got the Ab-Solution technology that we are all obsessed with. The power mesh panels slim and hold, they suck you in, but the jeans still manage to be super comfortable. Here’s the deal, I only wear jeans with stretch in them now. Life’s too short to wear non-stretchy jeans. For size reference, I’m wearing my regular size 4 (not petite).
I love them.

This exact same outfit would look great with flats or booties too, but I really do love the overall look with these sneakers.
Now THIS sweater is a true fuschia in real life and in pictures! The fit is awesome, and I love the puff sleeves.
The subtle puff sleeves, the fitted cuffs, and the ribbed hem are all really good. It’s so cozy, so soft, and so adorable. I sized up to a medium in this one, and I’m happy to have the extra room.
Here’s a look at it without the bag so you can see the banded and fitted hem and how the sleeves are a little bit blousy.
Again, you could wear this outfit with lots of different shoes, but man the sneakers look awesome with it.
For outfits #4 and #5, I’m highlighting the leopard sneakers I first showed you a couple of weeks ago. They are more understated than the statement sneakers above, so they might be a safer option for some. More on the sneakers in a minute.
I love the beige oatmeal color and the lightweight waffle knit of this cardigan
I’m wearing the XS Petite (I somehow got home with the wrong size), but the sleeves are a tad too short and it felt tight across my back. I’m thinking about actually trying the M Petite to see if I like a fit that’s quite a bit more relaxed.
Okay! Time to talk about the sneakers! These babies are FABULOUS. The neutral and rust colors come together beautifully with the leopard pattern to make a really fun Fall sneaker. And not only are they super cute, they are also super comfy. I would recommend sizing down a 1/2.
The striped cross body bag is darling. It’s small, but big enough for my phone, some makeup essentials, and a card case with my license and credit cards.
If I had to pick favorites from this post, I think I would choose Outfit #1 and Outfit #5.
This sweater is my idea of sweater perfection.
This rust color is beautiful, and I think it will look great with regular denim, black denim, and grey denim. It’s incredibly soft and the fit is awesome. It’s not loose or baggy, but it’s not fitted either. I would say it’s a medium weight with a slight hi-low hem. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.
I was thrilled when I saw it also comes in a couple of different DARLING color block options. I’ve ordered both the navy peacoat-pink and the grey heather-navy, but I’m only going to allow myself to keep 1.
They really are just as cute as can be.
AND SO COMFY!
Remember to size down a 1/2.
As Fall outfits go, this is what I’m going to want to be wearing!
So, I’m curious!
