Happy Monday, y’all! My family had a great little weekend, and I hope all of y’all did too. I gotta tell ya, it’s officially spring where I live. Impromptu outdoor happy hours with neighbors and dining on patios are two of my favorite things, and I got to do both this weekend because of the warmer weather.
Besides the occasional morning soccer game where we still freeze, we have been having lots of beautiful days in our neck of the woods. And now that the warm weather seems like it’s here to stay, I’ve got some more fabulous outfits that I’ve had fun planning. And in true me fashion, I got so excited about some of the outfits that I’ve ordered some of the pieces to try for myself. I’m expecting that some of you may do the same.
OUTFIT #1
Somebody get me to a pool. With a magazine. And a drink with a little umbrella in it.
Pretty please.
I have last year’s version of the blue floral swimsuit (in a green floral) and I have last year’s version of the blue strapless suit (in a creamy floral pattern). Both suits are adorable, flattering, and have full booty coverage! Also, they both have EXCELLENT reviews and are UNDER $40!
I love a simple white cover up, the Fake Bake is my favorite self tanner (so easy to apply!), and I’m dying over the yellow bow sandals. SO CUTE.

OUTFIT #2
Well. This outfit is bright, happy, and all sorts of fun.
A bright pink midi with a trusty denim jacket and some adorable sneaks! I love it! This is a great run around town outfit, but it’s also a PERFECT travel outfit if you’re lucky enough to be planning a trip soon.

OUTFIT #3
Okay….so I already have most of the items in this picture, but I’ve never worn them all together. I’ve got the tee, the earrings, the jeans, and the sandals and highly recommend all of them.
The tee is awesome. It’s a soft grey tee in the front, and the sleeves and the back are a crisp cotton floral in such pretty colors. The tee is DARLING. The jeans are an awesome option for on trend jeans right now. They are straight leg and cropped, but they aren’t baggy. They are an easy way to try out the non skinny jean trend without having to go full on high waisted mom jean. They are just my speed!

OUTFIT #4
So, as soon as I found the skirt, I ordered it. I love the layers, the colors, and the pattern. I of course already have several denim jackets to choose from, and I grabbed this tee because it looks like the perfect color to complement the skirt.
The perfume is the scent I discovered from the Tocca sample pack I talked about in my last beauty post and it is just so lovely. I much prefer citrus notes to floral notes, and this perfume really delivers. It’s got real staying power too!

OUTFIT #5
I love a classic black top with pretty little details! And a tiny puff sleeve with tiny ruffles? Yes, please! The orange and pink earrings are fabulous and pair perfectly with the fun bag with the embroidered strap. The sandals are modern and classic at the same time.
I would wear this outfit doing errands around town, I’d wear it to dinner with the girls, and if I wanted to dress it up just a bit for a date night….I’d wear it with these block heeled sandals. #sassy

OUTFIT PLANNING FROM MARCH
And if you didn’t see the outfits I planned in March, here you go….
OUTFIT #1
Y’all know these leggings in black are what I named a MUST HAVE back in November. They are so stretchy, so comfy, and SO INCREDIBLY SOFT. And get this, THEY HAVE POCKETS. They fit like leggings, but they are styled like a jogger, and I absolutely love them. In fact, I got two pairs of the black (that are more like a really dark grey) so I would always have a pair to wear when one was in the laundry. Because they are just that good.
So getting this new pink color was a no brainer for me. And now I have the blue and the soft olive too after these new colors came out just last week. I’d say I was ashamed, but that would be a lie. I just feel smart.
For this look I paired them with a white long sleeve tee (I wear a small) and a great neutral sneaker, and I thought the floral gym bag was so pretty (and just under $40!).
I own both the earrings and the necklace and think both are awesome. The earrings are so dainty, and they somehow manage to be a little big edgy too! I love wearing them, and even though they are so small, I’ve received several compliments on them.

OUTFIT #2
First of all, I love the neutral palette of this outfit. Nothing but olive, white, browns, and golds. How pretty will this look be with a tan! Oh, and then a pretty floral bandana to top it all off.
I think this outfit is just so classic.
olive smocked blouse / sunglasses (tort/brown) / beaded hoop earrings / heart layered necklace / white jeans / cognac bag / bandana / dark bourbon leather sandals
OUTFIT #3
This outfit is SO ME. I love a flowy and breezy top with denim shorts, and this shirt checks all the boxes! Plus, these shorts are my favorite cut offs I’ve ever owned. I think this is my 3rd year with these shorts, and I know without a doubt they will still be my most worn shorts of the summer. This year I was also able to grab them in the bleached maritime wash (although almost sold out now) and the distressed and faded black pair.
I personally own and love the sunglasses, and they are 2 for only $20 on Amazon! The straw tote is from Target and I think the handle is so chic!

OUTFIT #4
HOW DARLING is this strapless floral number. I have a J Crew swimsuit with this exact fit from last year (it was blue and white seersucker) and I love it. It’s comfy, it stays up, it hides a multitude of sins (thank you to the ruching across the tummy), and it has a detachable strap.
I thought it would look great with a plain white cover up and some hot pink flip flops, and I was right! The teal lucite bracelet is perfect for the beach or pool, the large straw tote is from Target and only $40, and I wanted to remind y’all that the Supergoop Glow Screen is my GO TO face sunscreen/foundation for summer. Sometimes I wear it on it’s own, and sometimes I wear it under my Magic Cream and Bronzing Drops (used to be called Sunshine Drops) combo.

OUTFIT #5
I saw this sassy black swimsuit with STELLAR reviews and I couldn’t resist creating an entire look around it. I love the low cut legs, the full coverage back, the adjustable straps, and the pretty ruffles. I love it all. I think it looks amazing paired with this vibrant cover up, gold jewelry and sandals, and fun turquoise fringe earrings! The black straw tote ties it all together!
And now that it’s warming up in my neck of the woods, I’ve already broken out my favorite sunless tanner a couple of times. You apply it with a mitt, and you can see the color go on, which allows you to apply it evenly without any trouble. And if you do miss a spot, just simply fill it in when you notice it. The color is a pretty bronzy brown (it’s not orange at all) and gives me so much confidence when showing my arms and legs.

That’s it for today, y’all. Hope you got some inspiration and are feeling prepared and excited to dress for warm weather! I know I am!

Thank you so much for including Nordstrom’s and Anthro items on your most recent outfits! I always love your selections from these stores and find they hold up really well. (I have not had as much luck with the Amazon picks, so now I don’t order any clothes off of Amazon). Please keep adding Anthro and Nordstrom items in your outfits. Always so cute! P.S. I have been following and buying off of your site for over four years now.

A long time follower! Thank you so much, Brooke!!!! I have several more Anthro pieces coming up in the next couple of weeks. They’re amazing and so special (but they are PRICEY too), so I’ll definitely be mixing in some Amazon choices as well. xoxo
