Nordstrom Athleisure Brands I Love

There are lots of brands that you’ve seen on the blog consistently over the years. You see them over and over again because I have some brands that I’m loyal to, brands that I go back to again and again because they never let me down. Like y’all know that if I’m wearing jeans, they are most often going to be Wit and Wisdom. And if I’m wearing athleisure, there’s a good chance it is Zella. Last year I also became a huge fan of Vuori, so I wear (and talk about) that brand a lot now as well.

In today’s post I’m highlighting both Zella and Vuori. Some pieces are new to me, and some pieces are items I’ve had and loved for a while, but I’m styling them in new outfits today!

OUTFIT #1

This first outfit mixes Zella and Vuori. I’m wearing a Zella sweatshirt and Vuori leggings. AND I’M IN LOVE WITH BOTH.

I’m obsessed with the sneakers too, but we’ll get to them in a minute.

This sweatshirt is cozier than cozy. And I know cropped sweatshirts are in right now, but for all of you who prefer to cover your backside, this sweatshirt is perfect. It’s an oversized fit (I’m wearing a small) and has zippered vents on the side (see pics below).

I’m wearing the beige oatmeal here, which is no longer available, but it is still available in navy and a lilac. I also ordered the lilac and actually like it more than this one, but it didn’t arrive in time for the shoot.

How cute are the zippered vents?

The Daily leggings are from Vuori.

They are INCREDIBLY flattering and crazy comfortable. And here’s the deal, if something is flattering AND comfy, I’M ALL IN.

They feature a high waist, a wide waistband, a drawstring tie (that’s so cute), a perfect 7/8 ankle length, and cuffed ankles. And they live up to their name, because you’re going to want to wear them daily. Nordstrom currently carries them in black and black camo.

For size reference, I’m wearing a small in the leggings (which is true to size for me in leggings).

I feel terrible for talking about these sneakers since they are currently sold out, but when I took all of these pics last week, they were fully stocked! Still, I want to talk about them because I want you to already be familiar with them since I’m keeping my eyes peeled for a restock. If they come back, you need to be ready to jump on them! True to size for me. If you can’t wait, I really like this pair in the rose/sand, and they appear to be fully stocked.

I’ve worn this exact outfit twice to run errands around town and was so comfy all day, while still feeling totally put together. And when I got home from running around, I basically felt like I was wearing pajamas. #winning

OUTFIT #2

In Outfit #2, I’m wearing the Daily leggings again.

This time I’m pairing them with this adorable and super warm North Face fleece that’s now on sale.

I love the colors of the fleece, and it’s a perfect layering piece. I’m wearing a small and it’s still a very relaxed fit, so it does run big.

I’ve had these huge stud earrings for years now and they are still a favorite. They’re great to wear with athleisure, but I’ve worn them with pretty much everything, including a little black dress. They are super chunky, so they still make a statement even though they are just a stud.

OUTFIT #3

For outfit #3, we again have Zella up top and Vuori on the bottom (like in Outfit #1).

I’ve said it before, but these joggers are a must have for me for sure. I have them in several colors and wear them all the time

They have a slim but relaxed fit with a slightly cropped leg, side pockets, and drawstring. They are designed with Vuori’s softest premium stretch fabric, and you can trust me when I say that they’re going to be your new go-to.

These babies are the gateway product to the brand. I’m telling you, once you purchase the joggers and start wearing them, you will have an undeniable need to try more pieces from the brand. I can vouch for that because that’s how it went down for me. They definitely made me a believer.

This sweatshirt is almost gone in the pink, but you can still grab it in black or ivory. I love the ribbed cuffs and the banded hem, and it’s so soft on the inside. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.

Throw a denim jacket on top, and this is a great travel outfit!

This denim jacket is from Kut from the Kloth, y’all. And if you’re an OG follower of this blog, you might remember that the very first item that I ever named a MUST HAVE was a Kut from the Kloth denim jacket almost 10 years ago now! Kut really knows how to make a denim jacket. This one has a bit more structure than other denim jackets I’ve recently highlighted in the past, but I think it will soften up after some washings. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.

OUTFIT #4

Okay, Ladies!

Part of this next outfit is going to be like a blast from the past for many of you. I know it was for me.

Have you worn and loved high waist flare pants in your past? Well, I’ve got some great news for you. THEY’RE BACK!

And I don’t know about you, but I’m not mad about it.

Honestly, why did we ever stop wearing them? They have the same flattering and elongating properties as a slim boot cut pair of jeans, but you can wear them with a sweatshirt and sneakers! They are definitely more forgiving than a standard pair of fitted leggings, and I hope you will at least give them a try. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.

This half-zip pullover is a great basic for your closet. Wear it with flare leg leggings, wear it with regular leggings, or wear it with jeans! Just wear it! It’s very lightweight, but it somehow also manages to be very warm since it’s light with a light fleecy material. For size reference, I’m wearing a small. I do find the sleeves to be a bit long, but that’s easily addressed by cuffing them.

So outfit #5 has the grey version of the pullover seen directly above, and I’ve paired it with the Vuori leggings I highlighted earlier in the post.

I love how you can pretty much mix and match everything I’m showing today into tons of different outfits.

I have the banded hem turned under here to show off the cute waistband of the leggings. But if you don’t like the idea of being so exposed on the bottom, you could wear the pullover with the performance joggers instead of the leggings.

After church yesterday I had a couple of errands to run, so I changed into this pullover with some straight legged jeans and sneakers.

So that’s 5 new outfits for today! But if you think about it, you could probably make at least 12 different outfits with these same pieces!

A BLAST FROM THE PAST…

If you don’t love the idea of a fitted jacket with your lounge leggings, you can go in the exact opposite direction with this cozy wrap jacket.

It’s got a funnel neck collar, snap closure, and a super cozy fleece lining. I think the relaxed styling is a lot of fun.

I would say it runs quite large because I’m in an extra small.

This long sleeve tee is still available and well stocked in this grey and black. It’s lightweight, super soft, and a great layering piece. It’s form fitting, so I probably wouldn’t wear it on its own, but it’s great under a sweatshirt or jacket.

And if you are an XXS, XS, or S… you need to grab the MUST HAVE leggings immediately! They are 60% OFF, but quantities are limited.
