I initially had a different post planned for today, but my plans immediately changed once I saw ALL OF THE NEW MARKDOWNS at Nordstrom!

SHIRT AND SKIRT ON SALE…

I showed you this blouse with denim shorts a couple of weeks ago, but when I saw it had a matching skirt, YOU KNOW I grabbed it. I got a medium in the top (it’s oversized, so a small would have been fine on me), and I got a small in the skirt (also oversized, so I would suggest sizing down for sure). The skirt is elastic across the back waistband, so it’s super forgiving.

Very similar outfit here, but a different look. All I did was just switch out the tops and the sandals. I love the vibrant orange with the stripe pants, and the ruffle sleeves are fab! This tee comes in several colors, but it’s only this vibrant orange that is on sale.

Here’s a great outfit with my favorite ecru jeans! These jeans are seriously one of my Top 3 finds for the year, and they’ve been on y’alls Top 12 list several times as well. They are actually a great year-round jean because they look awesome with booties in the fall and winter, but they look just as great with wedges and sandals in the summer! I love the fit and the frayed hem. I’m wearing my regular size 4.

DRESS ON SALE…

This little dress is a great option for vacation (or maybe a girl’s lunch, or maybe just running around town). It also comes in black, white, and navy… and right now it’s UNDER $35! It’s 100% cotton, the straps are adjustable, and it goes great with a denim jacket. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

TOP ON SALE…

This linen blend top is a relaxed fit and has an easy breezy feel to it. It’s a muted stripe and just feels summery! Wearing it here with the patch pocket shorts, but it would be great with white denim too.

And I of course love it with the matching skirt. It’s an adorable set. I’m wearing a medium in the top (it’s quite roomy), and I ordered a small in the skirt… but I actually think I could go down a size in both. The skirt runs quite big since even the small has room on me, so keep that in mind if you order. You really might want to order down 2 full sizes in the skirt. There’s elastic across the entire back of the band, so it’s very forgiving.

DRESS ON SALE…

This dress isn’t for me because it’s longer than I’d like and the hemline is like a shirt hemline, which I don’t love (you can see the hemline in the next pic).

Still, I think this dress is fabulous and it could be a great fit for some of you taller girls! The print is whimsical, and I love the shirt dress styling. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium, but I think I would be happier with the fit of a small.

DRESS ON SALE…

I’m not keeping this tie neck mini dress because my tummy is my problem area, and I don’t think this dress is super flattering on me.

HOWEVER, if you have a flat belly, I think you might love this dress. The tiny floral pattern is lovely and you’re going to feel like you’re wearing pajamas, so you should scoop it up when it’s on limited time sale! For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
