This post is sponsored by Nordstrom and ShopStyle. The product selections are my own, and I only highlight and promote pieces that I truly love. Thank you for supporting the brands that support Sheaffer Told Me To!
So, I’m dying to know… did the title of this post conjure up any memories for you? Does it sound familiar at all? Did it make you feel all warm and fuzzy?
I’ll give you one hint….it’s a quote from one of my very favorite movies of all times.
Do you know what movie?
If you didn’t scream Steal Magnolias at the top of your lungs, then I’m not sure we can be friends anymore. #justkidding #kindof
Does anybody know the whole scene?
Truvy: What are your colors, Shelby?
Shelby: They’re blush and bashful.
M’Lynn: Her colors are pink and pink.
Shelby: My colors are blush and bashful, Mama.
M’Lynn: How precious is this wedding gonna get, I ask you?
Shelby: My colors are blush and bashful. I have chosen two shades of pink, one is much deeper than the other.
I MEAN! THE NOSTALGIA OF IT ALL!
I’m with Shelby ladies! I love wearing pink. In fact, I specifically love wearing blush (and bashful, of course).
Tomorrow is February, so I thought now would be the perfect time to highlight some pretty blush sweaters.
I love how this first striped henley sweater is a really pretty dusty pink color, but the addition of the navy stripes makes it so unique.
It’s super soft and a very relaxed fit, which you know I love. It’s a medium weight and will keep you quite cozy during the cold winter months, and the henley neckline and slight blouson sleeves give it nice feminine touches. For size reference, I’m wearing a small and there’s still plenty of room, so I would recommend sizing down if between sizes.
And great news, it’s not too thick to do a half tuck.
Sadly, these exact Kendra Scott earrings have recently sold out, but there are a ton of Kendra Scott heart earring options HERE.
I picked up these booties for myself when I was at the mall right before Christmas. I was meeting Erika and Shay for lunch, Erika had just purchased the booties for her mother-in-law (shout out, Marla!), and we thought they were so cute! I marched downstairs and got them that day. True to size, comfy, and NOW ON SALE!
And how cute is this little leopard tab on the back? It’s both adorable and functional because it makes pulling on the boots so easy.
Full disclosure, this isn’t a sweater.
In fact, the Nordstrom site calls it a sweatshirt, but it’s not a sweatshirt either.
So what is it?
It’s a lightweight waffle knit with exposed seems. It’s tunic length, has deep side slits, and it’s definitely long enough for me to wear with leggings. Just think how cute it will be with leggings and sneakers!
For size reference, I’m wearing a small and it’s still quite oversized, so I would definitely suggest sizing down. In fact, if I was just going to wear this with jeans, I think I’d try an x-small.
These jeans are an AWESOME option for those of you that are wanting to try a non-skinny jean, but you don’t want to stray too far from your comfort zone. They’ve got the Ab-Solution technology we all love (praise be!), and they are more of a straight legged fit than a skinny fit. They are super on trend, and I know you’ll love them!
I love the ankle length and the tiny little split on the side. At 5’4″, I’m wearing my regular size 4 (although most size down), and they come in petite too. I wear these with mules, booties, and sneakers.
I first showed you this distressed leopard sweater last fall, and I’ve worn it countless times since introducing it to y’all. It’s become a favorite sweater for sure.
The colors are great and the pattern is so much fun. I love the weight and quality too. It’s got a bit of stretch to it, and I like that it’s not super fitted, but it’s not boxy at all. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
This sweater is very soft, a nice medium weight, and will transition nicely right into spring. It’s got a bit of distressing on the neckline, cuffs, and hem which makes it so unique and interesting.
Sadly, only 2 sizes are left, and I’m pretty confident they will both sell out today.
If you love the style of this sweater, there are 2 other patterns (I think both are great) found HERE. I’m obsessed with the pink and olive camo, and it appears to be fully stocked!
This blouson sleeve sweater is just so dang pretty.
It combines taupe, blush, cream, and a nice soft coral with asymmetrical stripes. It has a wider neck collar, pleated shoulders, and a blouson sleeve with a gathered hem.
For size reference, I’m wearing a small, but I’m thinking of sizing up to a medium for a more relaxed fit (as seen on the model).
SOME MORE PRETTY ITEMS…
In all of the outfits above, I’m wearing the Chelsea boots, but how great does this sweater look with the neutral loafers shown below!
I think these loafers are DARLING. I love the narrow profile, I love the chunky gold chain, and I love them paired with jeans (although they would obviously look great styled with dressy pants too). They are on the small side, so I think most will need to size up a 1/2.
And just in case you need some gift ideas for a loved one, or in case a loved one needs gift ideas for you….
I can’t recommend this Burberry perfume enough. It’s LOVELY.
And Kendra Scott jewelry is always a wonderful gift idea. She has so many romantic pieces, but don’t worry…they aren’t too cutesy! You can wear them all year long!
I know you’ve seen this sweater before, and I know it’s a much brighter pink than the blush and bashfuls that we’ve been checking out today, but I still felt it deserved a spot on today’s post.
I love the large alternating pink and orange rugby stripes. It’s a classic crew neck, has a perfectly relaxed fit, and is soooo soft. For size reference, I’m wearing a small. AND GET THIS! IT’S ONLY $39!
If you’ve been following along for awhile, there’s no telling how many times you’ve seen these earrings. I named them a MUST HAVE probably 5-6 years ago, and they continue to be a favorite. They are light as a feather and go with everything. They come in silver too.
And I’m wearing the heart necklace again. It’s beautiful.
These raw hem straight legged jeans initially sold out a couple of months ago, so I was thrilled when they got a huge restock.
And the mules!!!! Let’s give a slow clap for these mules. If they still have your size left, grab them! I think they are DARLING, they are quite comfy, and I absolutely love the gold chain accent.
So what do you think?
Are you a blush and bashful girl too?
I so appreciate all of you checking out today’s post and always being so lovely and supportive. I love ya more than my luggage. #claireeforever
