July Top 10

Today’s post is one of my favorite posts each and every month! Today I’m going to highlight your Top 10 picks from July.

Not surprisingly, many of y’alls top picks are in my top picks for the month as well. All 10 items I’m featuring today are items that I added to my own closet or makeup drawer, and because of that, they are items that you will continue to see on the blog (as long as they are in stock).

I will say that this month’s top 10 list is a little bit different….

If I had put all of the Top 10 items on today’s collage, there would be a lot of items from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. I don’t know about y’all, but I am DONE talking about the NSale. And I didn’t want to highlight pieces today that aren’t on sale anymore, but were on sale just last week.

Soooooooooo…. today I’m highlighting the Top 10 last month that weren’t from the NSale.

The picks that made this month’s list are from Amazon, Walmart, and Colleen Rothschild.

1) shirt dress / THIS DRESS IS DARLING, y’all. It’s totally classic and looks very chic. It’s got functional buttons all the way up and down, a great collar, cuffed sleeves, and tiny little pleats all around the waistline. And the back of the dress is tiered. It’s SO CUTE. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

I know all of you probably have several different colored cardigans in your closet, I think this coral one looks great thrown on top of the dress. The one I’m wearing is v-neck (and sold out in most colors and sizes), but the crew neck coral cardigan is still in stock!

And it of course looks great styled with a denim jacket as well.

I got this denim jacket back in February and love it so very much! It’s the “A Azure Mood”. It’s got a bit of stretch in it, has a cute fit, and I think this wash is great. This is the denim jacket you are going to be seeing throughout today’s post. I feel like everybody needs a denim jacket that they love, but teachers REALLY need one! They make dresses (that might not otherwise be work appropriate) perfect for a school setting! And they are of course great for an added layer as the weather starts to get cooler (or if you’re room at school is always cold). Here’s the same dress in grey blue back that I first showed you early last year.

I’m wearing a small here, but felt it was too tight, which is why I ordered the green in a medium.

And here it is styled a bit differently with a beaded necklace (I have this necklace in 3 colors now), the camel bag I first showed you earlier this year and my neutral patent sandals that I’m still wearing and loving (from last year). I sized up a 1/2 in these sandals.

2) maxi dress / This maxi dress is totally boho. It’s fun, flowy, and feminine. For size reference, I’m wearing a small. I think this dress would be great for teachers!!!

Warner’s Women’s Easy Does It No Bulge Wire-Free Bra

It’s got perfectly rounded cups (I don’t enjoy a pointy boob), and the entire thing is stretchy and feels amazing on. Doesn’t it look SO COMFY?

And because of the stretch, the sizing is so forgiving.

This particular bra is available in a range of sizes from S to 3 XL. This chart should help you decide on your size. I’m a 34D, this chart told me to order a medium, and the medium is PERFECT for me!

 

4) set / LADIES. This lounge set is FABULOUS. Wayyyyyyy more fabulous that I thought it was going to be. And it’s not just for lounging! I saw it on another influencer and thought it was adorable, but I wasn’t sure how it was going to look on me (because the other influencer is teeny tiny). WELL. I absolutely love it. I ordered a medium because that influencer was in a small (so I thought I would require a medium), but I’ve now ordered it in a small to compare the sizing. I actually like how this set is a super relaxed fit, I just want to see the difference. It’s gauzy and soft and a perfect outfit to lounge in or even run around town in. I love it so so much.

5) crossbody with strap / This cross body bag is simple, classic, and pretty awesome. It’s a great size, and I absolutely love the strap.

6) tunic dress / This bohemian floral mini dress is one that I know lots of y’all are going to want. In fact, I like it so much, that I’m actually showing it in 3 colors today. This is the “ocean blue”. It’s a romantic dress with billowy sleeves with a relaxed and flowy fit. The neck is a deep v and has ties that I like to leave undone. It’s comfortable, lightweight, and just a dreamy summer dress. It’s not lined, but it’s not see-thru either. I’m wearing a medium in this one, but I’m wearing a small in the next two colors. Because of the length, I think I decided that I prefer the fit of the medium.

This is the “saffron”. As you can see, the small is still very roomy, but it is a bit shorter. I’m 5’4′ with long legs for my height.

This is the “caramel”. I actually think this one would transition nicely to fall and would pair great with a denim jacket and boots. If you’ve got a trip to Nashville coming up, grab it! Again, I’m wearing a small in this one.

7) tiered dress / I have this dress in several colors and it’s a favorite for sure. It is 100% cotton, has short flutter sleeves, and a tiered bodice. The fit is a bit swingy and totally perfect. This is the “soft papaya”, but it comes in 10 total color choices. This is a dress that I think some of you will order in multiples. Listen, no judgement here. It’s on sale for only $10.98. So really, getting more than 1 makes sense. It’s just good math. 😉

8) Colleen Rothschild Illuminating Tinted Eye Cream / My favorite eye cream is BACK IN STOCK! It was in y’alls Top 5 for 2 months in a row as well. It’s an incredible product.

And just FYI: I don’t like concealer and never use it, but I think this eye cream not only does the job of an eye cream, but it also functions a bit like a concealer does… but it doesn’t settle into lines or crepiness (which is why I don’t like or wear concealer).
