So that means I love a monogram.
ESPECIALLY ON A PILLOW CASE.
But I like them on other things too.
we can all enjoy free monogramming and free shipping on all orders containing monogrammed items through August 8th!
Click HERE for all things that can be monogrammed.
Click HERE to see all C. Wonder sale items that are an ADDITIONAL 50% off now!
And for those of you not familiar with C. Wonder, let me tell you all you need to know.
The brand is bright and fun and classic (with a twist).
And it was started by Tory Burch’s ex-husband.
Ooooh. Scandalous.
You really should check it out.
See what I mean?
Bright! Fun! and Classic!
In addition to monograms, like every good Southern girl, I know the importance of accessories.
The only thing that separates us from the animals is our ability to accessorize.
(Name the character and the movie!)
Over the last 2 years I have come to adore Stella and Dot jewelry.
If you’ve been reading this blog for awhile you know I am OBSESSED with my Kimberly necklace (HERE) and my Serenity Stone drop earrings (HERE).
I also wear THIS necklace and THIS necklace quite a bit.
Oh, and THESE earrings.
Anyway, they introduced their new fall line a couple of weeks ago,
and I realized I needed to tell you guys about it!
I placed my order already, and I might even have bought 1 or 2 things to give away to you guys in future giveaways!
Jeni Morgan is my Stella and Dot stylist and sponsor (isn’t she just the cutest!?),
and you can always find her button on my sidebar if you ever want to randomly place an order.
If you do, you can also always try to search my name “Sheaffer Sims” as your hostess. If she has a show open for me, then I get credits! And I use credits to buy prizes for blog giveaways!
Her button on my sidebar looks like this:
Click HERE for the new fall line.
I’m SUPER interested in the necklace on the top right below.
It’s called the Sutton (HERE), it mixes metals with some bling,
and you can wear it in 5 different ways!
Go HERE to watch a video on the necklace. SO COOL!
I also saw this picture tutorial on layering necklaces and thought it was kind of genius.
I LOVE to layer my necklaces and I do it often now with lots of different types of necklaces, but I know that when I first started layering I always found myself wondering if it was to much or too gaudy. This guide is a great little cheat sheet!
I wear two necklaces together a lot, but pulling off 3 together is a little more difficult.
And finally, my southern roots also dictate that I love jeans that look like wallpaper.
And one more thing before you go.
They are no longer on
sale (BOO!), but many colors and sizes are now available again in the
MUST HAVE shirt. If you were dying that you didn’t get a certain color,
now might be your chance.
Remember to order 1 size down.
And just to prove that I’m Southern,
So, here goes…
Y’all.
Everybody flipped out about the leopard burlap TOMS just as much as I did.
Something is wrong with us.
Bless Our Hearts.
(And I forgot to mention this yesterday, even though it says “true to size” I always order a 1/2 size to a full size down in TOMS.)

Those monogrammed bags are so stinkin' cute! And those wallpaper jeans…I'm seriously in love with them! I love how you paired them with your chambray shirt..perfection. OK…I'm off to shop Stella and Dot now!

I had to laugh when I read the first few sentences…we took a recent vacation to Hilton Head and Savannah and on the drive I told my husband that southern women loved monogrammed items and the stick figure people stickers on the back of their vehicles. He didn't believe me…until we got there and he was witness the phenomenon! Love the Stella and Dot fall items and I think I should rock some wallpaper jeans too!!

To answer your question… Clairee from Steel Magnolias! OMG I'm loving the new Stella and dot jewelry!!
The printed jeans look so cute on you!! I wish I could pull them off! I'm scared I'd look less cute and more like a big ole couch from the 80s! 🙂
Xoxo

I am cracking up at the "wallpaper jeans" reference. Definitely not a Southern thing, but I love your dedication to the theme!
We need some of your "Sheaffer-enthusiasm" for your Target/Old Navy project. I'm not feeling any excitement with a picture and some links. Although I've been trying to weed out my closet and adopt a "buy less/buy better" mantra with my shopping (hence why my Nordstrom card is also taking a rest right now!–lol!), there's always room for Tar-jay (it's like Jello!).
But see you've spoiled us. You've found the cutest things for us—and been crazy excited about it while you do it. Are there no crazy-exciting pieces to be found? I'm not sure I could just wander in to Old Navy and find fab things on my own. I'd probably just come out with jeans and fleeces for my kids…and what fun is that? 🙂
Thanks!

Ok, I clearly didn't finish reading yesterday's post. I must have gotten distracted by my dog who insists on eating random things outside and barfing inside.
My life is so glamorous!
There was much more Target goodness yesterday. I didn't jump online and order immediately (like the jacket!), but I'm keeping an eye out next trip over.
You know, tomorrow.
I love that leopard and striped bag on C Wonder. What color threads do you think will look good? The gold seems like a smart choice, but when I preview it, I'm not so sure!
Alison @ Get Your Pretty On says
I've been seriously considering some floral jeans and you might have just given me that final push. And I was already shopping those C. Wonder monograms when I got their e-mail yesterday. Free monogramming and free shipping? I'm in!

I have a question for you Sheaffer….Where I live, we don't have a Nordstrom. I know…sad face 🙁 Some of the things you posted from the sale were fabulous, but I feel like I need to try things on before I purchase. Recently, a Nordstrom Rack opened. How does that compare with the original? I'd love your opinion on that please!!
Sheaffer says
Hi Amy! The way I understand it, Nordstrom Rack is mainly last season's inventory, although sometimes you can find current finds there that got moved from the regular store. They do have some great items there too for sure! However, with Nordstrom's amazing return policy and customer service, you shouldn't be afraid to "risk it" and order something online. Returning is SO easy. And especially for a "MUST HAVE", I think it would be worth the risk! 🙂
xoxo,
Sheaffer 🙂

We don't have a Nordstroms, Loft, Gap, or Old Navy here either. Closest is 2 hours away…:(. But Sheaffer is right, ordering from Nordstroms is great and easy…free shipping both ways! Pretty sure people are talking about me and the UPS driver! 😉 LOL

I've been all up in that c.wonder sale since receiving the email yesterday! i'll slap my initials on just about anything. and you look too cute in your floral jeans!!
Jen Pogue says
You totally rock those floral jeans! I can't wait to see what you ordered from Stella & Dot! Their jewelery is awesome.
I didn't grow up loving monograms, but some of my sorority sisters loved them. It totally rubbed off on me because I have to restrain myself from monogramming everything! Since it's back to school, I'm getting my fix though! 🙂

You are southern….and so am I and that means we LOVE monogrammed anything! Those clutches are presh!!
Team Seghs says
I'm obsessed with c wonder
Glad you featured it!
And I have an even bigger obsession with monogramming. I have two ladies I go to for getting things monogrammed (because I'm embarassed for each one to really know just how much monogramming I actually get!!) I've even considering buying my own machine.
