Hi Sugarplum’s HELLO SUMMER Collection!!!

This is Cassie’s 11th collection with Gibson and it is FABULOUS. The girl knows how to create a collection. I’m SO PROUD of her, and let’s be honest…I’m SO EXCITED about all of the cute new pieces in my closet! This is seriously my favorite collection yet.  There are 10 different styles, and several of the styles have different colors and patterns, so there are 16 total pieces that will have you looking DARLING all summer long.

THE CABANA DRESS

For those of y’all that don’t know, Cassie is my work wife. We talk every single day. Sometimes up to like 5x a day (or more). FOR REAL. She usually starts sending me peeks at the collection when she finalizes designs with the Gibsonlook team, and I immediately knew that this cabana dress was probably going to be my favorite piece.

She knew it too.

We were both right.

THIS DRESS IS DARLING.

The colors are so vibrant and the pattern is so bold! Y’all know that I love a sleeve, and this one has a perfect oversized bell/flutter sleeve. It covers just enough of my arm and is so flattering.

It’s a crisp cotton poplin, but it isn’t stiff at all, it’s actually very soft! It’s got the A line fit that I love, and it’s fully lined. This is an awesome dress.

For size reference, I’m wearing a medium. I need the room in the chest, but otherwise I could have worn a small.

We don’t have any vacation plans yet this summer, but my goodness this would be perfect for a beach vacation. But don’t worry, even though we’ve got no beach plans, I’ll still wear the heck out of it.

PARADISE MULTI-TIERED SMOCKED WAIST DRESS

This dress, y’all. This dress will have you swooning.

It’s soooooooo comfy to wear with the smocked waist (which can sit at your waist or hips), and the 3-tiered skirt is so flirty and fun!

If you don’t have the wedges yet, get them, just make sure you size up a 1/2. They are perfectly neutral, easy to walk in, and will go with just about every outfit you can dream up.

Look at this festive palm print! The greens are gorgeous, and this print is fabulous.

Notice that this smocked waist dress can easily be dressed up or down. I’m wearing the dot print above with wedges, but I styled this one with flat sandals.

The H band slide sandals are one of my most recent and favorite Amazon finds. They are cushiony, comfy, and totally classic. I would recommend sizing up a 1/2 size.

SLEEVELESS DECKED OUT DAY DRESS

If you’ve shopped Cassie’s collections before, the silhouette of this dress probably looks familiar to you. They brought it back this year in a new color and this new pattern! This fabric is more forgiving than last year’s, and I like the bit of stretch it has now. It’s A-line with pockets and a cute ruffle neck. You can see it without the jacket towards the bottom of today’s post in a mirror selfie. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

ISLA MAXI DRESS

The palm print and the color combo of this maxi dress spoke to me. They said BUY ME AND LET ME LIVE IN YOUR CLOSET.

I listened.

Self-admittedly, this isn’t a dress I would typically go for based on the cut, but the colors and the print continued to call to me until I put it in my cart. If you love your arms and shoulders, this dress will do a beautiful job showing them off. It also comes in a classic black. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

The tote bag is like a plastic material and so unique. It would make a great pool or beach bag because you could easily wash or hose it off.

OCEANSIDE V-NECK TEE

Everybody loves a white tee, and this one is special with a little flutter sleeve and an embellished v-neck neckline. It’s a super feminine take on a basic white tee. You’ll definitely need to wear a neutral bra under it, but I love the fit. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

I would be buying and wearing these pieces even if a dear friend wasn’t responsible for them, but the fact that she is just makes my heart swell with pride.  I can’t wait till I get the first compliment when I’m out and about around town. You can better believe I’ll be like “RIGHT????  MY FRIEND!!!!!  SHE DID THIS!”
