Now what did Piperlime send me that I’m featuring today?
THIS dress, THESE shoes, THIS watch, and THIS jacket.
Sometimes I put an outfit together and it doesn’t live up to the expectations I had for it, but that wasn’t the case with this outfit at all!  I absolutely LOVED it when it all came together.
I also loved the pieces on their own too!
I’ve been wanting a striped dress for a sweet forever, so when ordering from Piperlime, the dress was a no brainer.  I wanted to get an entire outfit, so the leopard flats were a MUST of course (stripes and leopard together are always good!),
 and I thought the jacket would give the whole outfit a little bit of edge.

Here’s what the dress looks like on it’s own.
I’m wearing a small.
It was a little boxy on me when I was wearing it by itself, but to be honest, I like shift dresses like this that aren’t clingy.  When it comes to dresses, I actually like boxy and short!  I know it sounds weird, but I think it’s flattering to my figure.
 Still, if you are worried about the boxy nature, just put a denim or leather jacket on with it.
When I put the jacket on it gave me a waist and some shape.
 I’m 5’4″ and it was short on me, but like I said, I like my dresses short.
And here’s the best part….THE DRESS HAS POCKETS!!!!!!
And who doesn’t love a dress with pockets?
Nobody.  That’s who.
This dress is more money than I would usually spend on a dress, but it’s so well-made and versatile that I do think it’s worth it.  A GREAT staple piece!

After my indoor photo shoot I headed outside because I’ve received some feedback for all of you saying that you really like these types of pictures that I’m posting on instagram (follow me HERE).
So anyway, I headed outside.
Even though it was August.
 And even though I live in Texas.
 It was 97 degrees.
At 2:30 p.m. 
And I was on my front porch.
 In a leather jacket.
 Yep, I’m crazy.

The shoes.
Oh mama the shoes.
Comfy.  And totally sassy with the way they are cut.
And I love the pointy toe!  Thank you Piperlime!

 And the watch?
THIS watch was a bit of a departure for me (I usually go for the big and chunky bands), but it has definitely become my favorite watch of the moment.  The face is still quite large (which I love!), but the band is dainty and feminine. It’s the best of both worlds!
And I love that if I don’t want to wear any bracelets, the wraparound band is still jazzy enough on it’s own.  It’s a really great watch!
