A Great Gingham Popover

I ordered THIS gingham popover a couple of weeks ago and hoped I would love it.

It’s very lightweight, the cut is so cute (not too long, not too short, and slimming!), and OH MY WORD AT THE GINGHAM.  Also, I prefer popovers to button-ups, because I sometimes have trouble with the buttons pulling up top.  #iblametheboobies #sorrydad  I was instantly drawn to this color (it’s called “red motiff”, but I think it definitely has some pinkish tones in it), and I’m really liking the blue and tan combo as well.  I’m wearing a regular 4, so I think it’s true to size.

I mean, COME ON!  HOW CUTE IS THIS TOP!  It’s airy and has a little bit of spandex in it that gives it some give (which is greatness).   I think it looks great worn out, but also looks good with a 1/2 tuck.  And you know I love my necklace. When walking out the door to do errands for the day, I threw on a cross body and my new sunglasses that I told y’all I was ordering in my sunglasses post last week.  I absolutely love them.  They are incredibly light weight and just a nice change from my aviators.

That night I went out to dinner with the family and changed out my cross body for my monogrammed tote.

And I might have worn the popover again the next day.  Okay, I did.  I wore it the next day. #isawdifferentpeople #icallthatalaundrywin

This necklace is very pretty and such an amazing deal!  I’m wearing a 27R in the shorts ($10 OFF today!!!), and I think they are true to size.  Some people have said they sized down, but I preferred my regular size.

THESE PANTS are $10 OFF as well!!!!  For size reference, I’m wearing a 27 regular in the pants (I’m almost 5’4″ and didn’t need the petites), so I think they are true to size.  They are from the Anthro pilcro line (they are a stretch cotton twill), and they are machine washable!  I’m wearing a small in the jacket (so true to size).  The jacket is quite fitted, but that’s how I wanted it.  If you want it to be a bit roomier, then I suggest sizing up one size.  I’m wearing a small in the tee (true to size), and I suggest sizing up a 1/2 size in the wedges!

So y’all know I already have the taupe, and this red arrived at my doorstep last week.  I had a reader say she went in the store and left with 3 pairs.  THEY ARE JUST THAT GOOD.  I mean, how perfect do they look with my tassel necklace?  They are the same pilcro material as my mustard pants (found in this post HERE).  If you are like me, you might have a closet full of shorts, but you consistently grab for the same 2-3.  THESE will be what you grab.  They are STRETCHY…and COMFY….and FLATTERING.   AND THEY COME IN 9 COLORS!!!!!  Yep, they’re perfect.  And if you want a longer option, click HERE.

And here’s a look at the precious sleeveless tee I was wearing with the shorts as well.  This tee is sooooo soft, has a cute little peplum hem, and comes in 3 colors.  I’m wearing a small, and it’s definitely a generous fit.  However, I liked it that way and wouldn’t want to size down to an x-small.  I really like the relaxed look of it.  And it’s NOW ON SALE!!!!

Here’s a GREAT tank!  It’s a peplum, has nice details, and comes in several solid colors.  I sized up to a medium.  And here’s the deal.  Let’s just be honest.  When worn alone, it makes my boobs look huge.  So, I personally probably wouldn’t wear it alone, but it sure is cute layered under my favorite cardi!  Now, if you want your boobs to look huge, then this top is for you.  #idon’tjudge  ?
