Friday Favorites (with some SALE ALERTS!)

It’s Friday, so y’all know what that means! It’s time to link up with Erika and Andrea to let everybody know what some of my favorite things are right now.

FAVORITE JEANS AND FAVORITE SHORTS ON SALE!

I have several outfits for you today, all with my favorite jeans and my favorite shorts that are both ON CRAZY SALE!

These ecru jeans have been on sale for a couple of weeks now, but when I was grabbing the link yesterday, I realized that right now they are an ADDITIONAL 25% OFF, making them right under $40 (regularly $78). They are in my Top 3 favorite finds of the year, and they have made y’alls Top 12 list 3 times this year! They are a great creamy neutral color (but not yellow at all, just neutral), so they are really appropriate year-round. They are great in spring and summer with sandals, but also great in fall and winter with sneakers and booties. They’ve got a perfect amount of stretch so they’re comfy, but they don’t sag! And they are super flattering. For size reference, I’m wearing my regular size 4.

This blouse is a linen blend with smocking, ruffles on the collar and sleeves, and a crochet trim. It’s pretty and feminine, and the color combo is unlike anything else in my closet. There’s another multicolor floral option that I don’t think was available when I purchased mine, but I really like it too! For size reference, I’m wearing a small, but I think I might prefer a more relaxed fit of a medium.

Here’s one of my recent outfits that was a favorite for me with the SUPER SALE ALERT jeans.

This floral flutter sleeve blouse is one of my new favorite finds. I think it’s absolutely darling. The little posies that are scattered all over the top are precious, and I’m in love with the pleating and swingy fit. The banded collar, the button up-styling, and the little flutter sleeves all come together to make this great top. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.

Super feminine and a little preppy, this ruffle collar blouse is fabulous. The pinstripe is a nod to menswear, but everything else is all sorts of girly! I sized down to a small like the site suggested, but I actually think I would prefer the fit of my regular size (a medium). The small is a bit tight across the chest.

I’ve shown this linen blouse in white several times over the last couple of months, and I liked it so much, I thought it wouldn’t be a bad idea to grab it in this gorgeous blue. It’s a classic look and totally chic. This is a great closet staple that will look fabulous styled in lots of different outfits. I’m wearing a small in the top, so I would suggest sizing down for sure. And great news! The button-up is ON SALE and then ON SALE AGAIN! Regularly $51, right now it’s ONLY $31!

I love the shirt above with the ecru jeans, but I also love it worn super casually with my favorite summer shorts.

I think this is the 3rd year for me to be wearing and loving these distressed denim cut-offs. However, since they are both short and distressed, there are lots of places I wouldn’t wear them. They are what I affectionately refer to as toddler shorts because of the elastic across the back. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

A little boho and a lot cute, I’m in love with this lace inset blouse. It’s 100% cotton with a split neck, a lace inset, and a perfectly swingy and relaxed fit. This is the kind of top that I will be reaching for alllllll summer long. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.

I’ve shown you this sweater in yellow in several different outfits over the last month or so. I loved it so much, I ended up grabbing it in the pink too. This pink is beautiful, and I absolutely love the fit. It’s not fitted at all, but it’s not boxy either. It fits exactly like how I like my sweaters to fit. It’s 100% cotton, lightweight, breathable, and a fun look for summer! The pointelle pattern is sweet. For size reference, I wear a medium.

These denim shorts are ON SALE too. They have a 7″ inseam, and I love them. They’re from Wit and Wisdom, so they have the AbSolution power mesh that we’ve all grown to love, and they’ve got some stretch like we’ve become accustomed to as well. For size reference, I’m wearing my regular size 4.

Okay, this next blouse surprised me, but not really in a good way.

I LOVE the color, and I love the festive pattern, and I love parts of the fit… but there is sooooo much fabric.

I think because of my boobs, it made the top stick out a bit, so it wasn’t very flattering. If you have a flatter chest, you might love it. I’m wearing it super casually here, but it could be dressed up easily too. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

NEW OUTFIT PLANNING

I have a big OUTFIT PLANNING post planned in a couple of weeks, but I had some spare time yesterday, so I threw some outfits together for this weekend!

And yeah, I’ve already ordered the top and the skirt in this first outfit. I’m so excited! I’ll definitely wear these pieces as a set, but I will also wear them as separates.

And how chic is this look! I couldn’t resist, and I ordered the dress for myself to try it out. I’ll definitely unbutton the top several buttons to make the neckline more flattering.
