It’s Friday, so y’all know what that means! It’s time to link up with Erika, Andrea, and Narci and let everybody know what some of my favorite things are right now!
FAVORITE #1: I’m Still Rockin’ The Flare Jeans
On this particular day I decided to wear my flares and channel my inner hippie! I loved THIS TOP with my flares (light wash option HERE) and wedges, but it would be just as cute with MY ANKLE SKINNY JEANS and FLAT COGNAC SANDALS. I’m wearing a small in the top, so I think it’s true to size.
FAVORITE #2: My New Monogrammed Barrington Tote
So, I got a new Barrington tote, and I’m sooooooo pleased with it! I adore the navy geometric pattern, and I think the floating monogram with the pink and red stripe is absolutely darling! The bag totally kicked up the old tee and shorts formula SEVERAL notches!

I mean, COME ON. That’s a cute bag! It’s the Savannah tote that I’m carrying (I prefer the zipper, interior pockets, and the little bit smaller size). If you want a little bigger, specifically if you are thinking of using your bag as a carry on, then I would go for the St. Anne for plenty of room! However, even the Savannah can hold my wallet, make-up bag, sunglasses case, and a bottle of water (with tons of room to spare) on a normal day. I’ve even fit my denim jacket or my laptop inside of it on days when I’ve needed those things.
I get lots of questions about the straps on these totes and if they will hold up. And the answer is YES!!! These totes are incredibly well made, and Barrington stands behind their products. They are an AWESOME company and their customer service is top-notch! FAVORITE #3: An Outfit Made up of Great Basics
There’s nothing to this outfit really, but I love that it’s made up of a lot of great basics (3 items that should have been a must have!). My top is from last year, but several different colors of this year’s version are available! I’m wearing an x-small in the top, but it’s a little snug across the back. If I had to buy it again, I would probably stay true to size and get a small. And my necklace is a great wear with pretty much everything necklace.

I think THIS top is great! And how awesome does it look with white jeans?!? This just screams summer to me!
FAVORITE #4: GREAT SPRING SWEATER (ON SALE!)
Here’ s my Savannah tote again, but this time I’m showing it with THIS darling sweater! Lucky y’all, even though it’s the first time I’m showing you this sweater (and I bought it full price a couple of weeks ago), it’s already 40% OFF! Which makes it ONLY $34.80! I sized up and am wearing a medium in the sweater. I would consider sizing up, especially if you sometimes need a little more room in the boob area. #sorrydad The sweater comes in two other colors, but I ADORE pink and orange together!

Are these flares super tight in the thigh area? Can you suggest some that are a little more relaxed in the thigh? Am looking for a slightly darker color, maybe a retro blue. I typically wear a 6, but my thighs are not super skinny. Thoughts?? Thx!!!!

Hi! I love your site but rarely comment. So I’ve bought a pair of white jeggings and I have a pair of white flare crops. The problem with the crops is I’m not sure what undergarment situation is best. I probably just need to go look around some of the big dept. stores but what I currently have is not going to work. Luckily most of my tops go past my bottom so it’s not a huge issue. I would love to know if you have any recommendations though.

First thanks for turning me on to Barrington. It’s all I carry and just ordered FIVE graduation gifts. Love that they have both a collegiate and sorority line!
Wanted to follow up about their customer service. You weren’t stretching the truth. The straps on my St. Ann from early last year are unraveling and no questions asked they are replacing it with a brand new one. I should note this doesn’t happen often. They had a batch that was bad due to the material they used. It has been corrected now.
I especially love my new spring monogrammed tote. Thank you so much for the discounts too!
