Five Days of Fabulous Day 4: The Gift of Choice!

We’re on Day #4 of our Five Days of Fabulous series,
and I’m not gonna lie…
I’m starting to get sad that it’s nearing the end.
Shay and I have been working on this for so long, and it’s seriously going to be a let down when it comes to an end.

Day 1 we gave away 5 pairs of UGGs!
Day 2 we gave away 8 Barrington Bags!
Day 3 we gave away 10 Blardigans!
I mean, y’all!
HOW MUCH FUN HAS THIS WEEK BEEN?!?!

So what does today hold?!?
Well, only 2 people are going to win today’s prize…but it’s a good one….
A really good one.

The winner gets a $500 gift card for herself, and another $500 gift card for a friend or family member!
I mean, shopping is always good…but shopping WITH A FRIEND is better!
So when Nordstrom asked me last month if I would get the word out about their gift cards, I thought the best way to do that would be to host this gift card giveaway for friends!

The coolest thing about Nordstrom gift cards is that they give back 1% of all gift card sales to nonprofit organizations.  And y’all….1% here and 1% there has to add up to BIG DONATIONS.

As part of their 2015 focus on youth and kids, your Gift Card contributions this year will help Ronald McDonald House, Boys and Girls Clubs, Special Olympics and other like-minded enterprises as they literally change the world.

Other cool features of Nordstrom gift cards:

They now offer more than 30 gift card designs that meet all types of needs (Birthday, Christmas, Thank You, Celebration, etc.)

Gift cards can be sent in the mail, but they can also be sent via e-mail!

The cards can be purchased in any denomination from $5 to $2,000.

If sent via e-mail, there is now a field that allows the purchaser to add a personalized message that is sent with the gift card.  Before, you were only able to choose from a handful of canned messages, but now you can write your own personalized message!  I love this!

A notification e-mail will now be sent to the customer who purchased the card when the gift is viewed so they can be confident that it was received.

If you have somebody that is super crazy stupid hard to buy for…..just get them a gift card!

    I like to stock up on little coin/zippered pouches or wristlets around the holidays when the Vera, Kate spade and coach outlets are having insane sales (making them less than $20 each) and then add gift cards to the inside. Vera Bradley can get as low as $5 each.

    Totally unrelated to this post but….My first pair of "must have leggings" from Nordstrom arrived in the mail yesterday and oh. my. goodness. You were so right. The most comfortable pair I have ever owned. Now, if only my blardigan would hurry up and arrive, I'll be in comfy cozy shape 🙂

    SPECIAL OLYMPICS-key to my heart. I am a special education teacher and I am on our local Special Olympic area management team. Not that I needed another reason to love Nordstrom but that tops my list. I'm going to go buy some gift cards now and cross my fingers I win this one too!
