December Amazon Haul: 10 Great New Sweaters, The Joggers You Need, A Sequined Top, and Last Minute Gifts

Happy Friday, ladies! TODAY IS PRETTY FLIPPING AWESOME, SO GET READY!

EVERYTHING I’m featuring is super affordable, and I’m telling you, it’s all really good.  I know y’all are going to be just as thrilled about these finds as I am, and many of them would also make great Christmas gifts (and will still arrive on time)!

Sure, I order a lot that I never show y’all…But the items that I do end up featuring are really good. And with me as your shopping tour guide, I hope to make shopping Amazon Fashion easy and even FUN!  Here’s a little peek at this month’s haul…

Now, before we get started with the official haul, here are 5 last minute items I’m recommending for gifts.

5 ITEMS I’M RECOMMENDING FOR GIFTS THAT ARRIVE BEFORE CHRISTMAS

This diffuser….  I’ve got one of these upstairs and one downstairs, and it’s excellent.  If you don’t believe me, trust one of the other 35,000 reviews!  Give this by itself or with some of your favorite oils.

Denim Jacket (my area shows Saturday delivery!) – Y’all know I think a great denim jacket is necessary for every closet.  And this is a great and much less expensive option than the must have jacket I’ve talked about for years.  It has a good amount of stretch so it doesn’t feel boxy or stiff, it comes in 3 great washes, and it’s a more generous fit and has a bit more length than the must have denim jacket which I know many of you have been asking for!!!  It’s really good.  And it’s ONLY $39.  I’m wearing the “medium wash”, but there’s also a light and a dark wash.  For size reference, I’m wearing the medium, although I think a small would have been fine for just a closer fit.  Click HERE to see me in it.

Pajamas – These pajamas are so comfy and so darling, and some sizes and colors will still arrive before Christmas.  Click HERE to see me in them.  I love them and have been wearing them at least once a week for months and months.  I’ve washed them at least 25 times since getting them last December, and they seriously still look awesome!  I actually have the navy stripes, but now they come in some new patterns…like a red buffalo check, leopard, and pink with white polka dots.

360 Degree Makeup Organizer – I bought this to organize my beauty products for my Sephora Haul post, and I immediately fell in love.  IT SPINS, Y’ALL. I’m so impressed with the look and the functionality of this organizer and think it could help out soooooo many bathroom counters. This cardigan is an item that I receive several e-mails or social media messages about each week.  People are still buying it (even though it was actually in October’s haul) and still LOVING it.  I get it, it’s awesome.   Mine is “A-Beige”, but I like several of the colors offered.  You’ll see me in it at the bottom of today’s post.

10 NEW AMAZON SWEATERS

Right now I am all about a cute sweater.

And great news, I found 10 new awesome sweaters for this month’s haul!

Let’s start out with this cozy boucle turtleneck sweater that is CURRENTLY ON SALE (and most colors and sizes will still arrive before Christmas).

I LOVE IT, and so do others because it has great reviews.

It has a slouchy fit, dropped shoulders, and a loose turtleneck.  It’s not long enough for leggings on my 5’4″ frame, but it looks great with jeans!  It’s quite over sized, but the ribbed and fitted cuffs help it not look sloppy.  In my opinion, it’s just a perfectly loose and relaxed fit.

It is soft, well made, and looks much more expensive than it is.  It definitely reminds me of the Free People slouchy sweaters that are 3x the price.

Let’s talk about the jeans above for a second, because they are in all 10 sweater pictures today.

They are awesome, AND THEY ARE ON SALE IN THE REGULAR SIZING (but not in petites for some reason) for 40% OFF!

I’ve grabbed a pic from an old post below to give you a really good look at them.  They are from Wit and Wisdom, they have the Ab-solution technology, and like all Wit and Wisdom pieces they are stupid comfy.  These are their girlfriend jeans.  They are a bit lighter of a wash than the ankle jeans I’ve been showing recently, they aren’t quite as fitted, they have a bit of distressing up around the hips, and they are more cropped than my ankle jeans and a bit wider at the ankle and through the calf.  I’m wearing the 4 Petite, but I would actually suggest sizing down. I have plenty of room in these 4 Petites and think a 2 Petite would be a better fit.

Sweater #2 is this darling polka dot number!

It’s thick, it’s warm, it’s soft, AND IT’S FREAKING ADORABLE.  I was drawn to the black with camel polka dots, but there’s also a grey with black polka dots.

This sweater is quite nice, has fabulous reviews, and would be great for the office if styled with a nice pair of slacks or a pencil skirt.  I think it’s a little too thick to half tuck (and y’all know I love a half tuck), but it looks great worn out!

I’m wearing a medium so it wouldn’t be too tight thru the bust, but if you don’t worry about room in the chest, I would definitely stick with your regular size.  It’s a little pricier than most sweaters on Amazon, but I feel like it’s very worth it.

Next up I have a FABULOUS cardi for y’all, and it’s ONLY $23.20!!! And it will arrive by Christmas (depending on your area – look for the green text prompt).

I haven’t had this long enough to wash it (I pulled it right out of the box the day I tried it on and fell in love), but I found this review about laundering:  It’s hard to find lightweight sweaters that you can wash without needing fabric softener for static (i.e. not polyester or acrylic). These dry really well hanging: just hang on a felt/rubber hanger and shape/smooth out a few times while it is drying. Stretch to remove any lingering wrinkles.  And this reviewer actually owns 5 colors of this sweater, so she clearly loves it.

It’s soft, lightweight, and has a good bit of stretch to it (which I really like).

I think it looks great with jeans, but it would look great over dresses too as well as all other office appropriate clothing.

I think this sweater is very Madewell-esque.

It’s 100% cotton and a great thick knit, but it’s the button detailing that gave me all the heart eyes.

It also comes in a great blue, mulberry, and light camel (which looks like a cream to me).

In the picture below, I kind of have it folded under (on the left) and I’m wearing it out (on the right).  It’s a bit thick for a successful half tuck, but I like it styled both ways below.  Also very well made and looks more expensive than it is.

This oatmeal sweater is only $29 and will arrive this weekend for most areas.

For those of you that don’t like to half tuck a sweater, but don’t like a sweater that’s too long either, THIS IS THE SWEATER FOR YOU!

It hits perfectly at the hip with a finished ribbed hem that is meant to just be worn out.  I love the neutral oatmeal, but it comes in 9 other colors as well.  I would say it’s a good medium weight.

For size reference, I’m wearing a medium here, but I think a small would be better.  It’s a boxy fit, but y’all know I love that.

Another boxy sweater that’s perfect for wearing out (and not half tucked), but this one is definitely more over sized than the oatmeal sweater directly above.  I’m wearing a medium in this one too, but I definitely need a small in this particular sweater.  Even in a small, I feel confident it will still be slouchy and over sized.

I went for this gorgeous olive color, but there are 8 other choices.  Some colors and sizes will arrive before Christmas.

I love the thick wide band at the hem, as well as the ribbed neckline and cuffs.  The hem is rounded, and a bit longer in back than front.

You’ve seen this exact sweater on me in camel and in a classic leopard colorway, and now you are seeing it in this great grey leopard!

This particular sweater actually comes in 32 colors/patterns (all under $25), but the availability is all over the place based upon size and color.

I’m wearing a medium, and I definitely need a medium in this sweater for it to fit me well across the chest without any pulling.  It’s quite a bit more fitted than all of the slouchy/boxy sweaters seen above, but sometimes you need a more fitted/tailored sweater.

It’s soft, comfy, and has a bit of stretch.

Here’s the same sweater in leopard.  This one is a bit more at $24.50, but it’s definitely worth it.  These sweaters are so soft and are the type of fit where they look great on their own, and they would also look great under a blazer.

I was drawn to this beautiful red, and I love the textured stripes.

It’s a relaxed fit, but it can easily be dressed up, and it even has a sweet little bow in the back at the neck.  SO CUTE!  It can be styled with a half tuck or worn out, and I like it both ways.

For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.  Once again, if you don’t need extra room in the chest, stick with your regular size.

Y’all.  I was not prepared to love this sweater, but my goodness I do.

It comes in 3 different color block patterns, and I love all three.

It’s a lightweight sweater that I will wear now (great for layering), but I will also most definitely be wearing it well into Spring.

It’s not long, but it’s definitely not cropped either.  The white band on the bottom makes it perfect for wearing out and not doing a half tuck.  It hits at a good place on the hips to wear it like this.  It’s very soft, very comfy, and quite flattering.

The fabric is soft and comfy.  It’s lightweight with a little stretch in it.  This would also be a great layering piece under a blazer.

I’m wearing the black/silver sequin combo, but there are several color choices (I also love the plain black, the multicolor, and the gold).  It’s got a bit of stretch to it, and it drapes beautifully off of one shoulder.  You can totally wear it with jeans (like I am below),  but it would also work with coated black denim, faux leather pants, a leather mini skirt, or something similar.

SALE ALERT

I’m wearing a medium, but it’s very roomy, and I’m ordering a small for myself. I would say stick to your regular size or maybe even consider sizing down if between sizes.

THE JOGGERS YOU NEED  – TRUST ME, YOU NEED THEM

I posted these last month, but it is my hope that if you didn’t get them last month, YOU WILL TODAY.  Ladies, I have lived in these joggers the last 4 weeks. I love them so so SO SO much.  I grab them all the time.

And I need you to know, MINE DO NOT SMELL!  Several of the reviews (all dated almost a year ago) state that they had a strong chemical odor, but mine have NO ODOR.  I have both grey and black, and neither one of them have any type of unpleasant scent.  I’ve had tons of readers that recently purchased them say the same thing…NO odor…so they must have fixed the problem.

These joggers ARE FANTASTIC.  I’ve had lots of requests for some affordable joggers that aren’t cropped.  I love the Lou and Grey ones (but they are more expensive) and the Gibson ones (they are quite a bit thinner) so much, but these new Amazon ones are thick and a great price. And I really like the exaggerated height on the cuff at the ankle.  And I feel like I can’t have too many joggers. #itsscience

So these are heavier than the other ones I own, and I love the closer fit and how these are higher waisted.  They aren’t as baggy as my other joggers, and I like the fit a lot.

I have a handful of outfits to share with you again, they are outfits that are definitely on repeat over here.

Overall, the fleece pullover is highly rated, and I totally agree!  I love the high collar, the contrasting zipper, and the piping at the wrists and on the pockets.  It’s crazy soft and warm, and I have no issues with the zipper.

And check out my sneaks!  Y’all know I’ve loved the apricot sneakers since this summer…and now I have the black!

Okay, y’all.  Pay attention.  This is one of my favorite looks ever.

Is it ground breaking?  NO.  Not even close.

But it is very me.

This is exactly how I like to run around town: looking put together and feeling very comfy.  And besides the necklace, every single item I have on is from Amazon!  My hat says Fa La La La La.  And yes, it’s darling.  You’ve seen the jacket before, and I still highly recommend it!  It’s a bit longer and has a bit more of a relaxed fit than the original must have denim jacket, but I actually love the more generous sizing.

Now I’m wearing the same joggers you saw above, but now I’m wearing them in grey.  They also come in a heathered navy.

This pullover feels like a light fleece and is oh so cozy.  I love the blush I’m wearing, but it also comes in olive and light grey.  Some readers report pilling, but I haven’t experienced that.  If it starts pilling though, I’ll be ready!  I recently ordered this handy dandy little gadget that gets rid of pilling that I’ve been hearing RAVE reviews about.

Caslon sent me this pullover (NOW ON SALE!), and I thought it was a great green color and looked festive with my Falalalala hat!  I’m wearing a small, but I think I would actually prefer the fit of the medium.

Now let’s talk about the puffer….because it’s AWESOME….and it says “Arrives by Christmas”!

It’s warm, it’s water resistant, the pockets are deep, and it covers my bum!  The quality is awesome, and the price is INCREDIBLE!!!  This jacket also comes in grey and navy.

I got a medium, but if I didn’t need room in the chest, I probably could have stuck with a small.

OKAY, LADIES!  This leopard cardigan is fabulous.
