Y’all know I’m a jeans girl. Probably 80% of my life I’m in jeans…which means that 80% of the outfits on this blog highlight jeans. So this should come as no surprise, but today is another jeans day for me! Both of the outfits today highlight a pair of boyfriend jeans. I found them for a steal while shopping for the 3rd and final post in my sponsored Back To School series with JCPenney.
Once again, the deals I’m about to share with you are pretty unbelievable. If you remember, I worked with JCPenney in both July and August and shared some amazing deals then. Today is the 3rd and final installment. I received a lot of great feedback after the first post (click HERE to see it) and was happy to hear that many of you enjoyed a more budget friendly retailer being featured. We all love a good bargain, right? The 2nd post was so much fun (click HERE to see it) because I highlighted some clothes for Carter too, and I had a great time getting to show off my little man!
I’ve been getting some requests recently for boyfriend jeans, so when I saw these, I knew I had to try them. I went with this pair, but there are actually lots of boyfriend jeans to choose from, all very reasonably priced.
OUTFIT #1
This first outfit is perfect for an early fall day.
floral blouse / earrings /bracelet / boyfriend jeans / cross body bag / booties
The floral blouse is light and breezy, but the longer sleeves make it seasonally appropriate for early Fall. It is quite sheer, so you do have to wear a cami under it (you can find an ivory one HERE). The sleeves are billowy and romantic, and the floral pattern and contrasting ruffles are perfectly feminine. It also comes in a black colorway.
I sized up to a medium because the fabric has no give, and I needed a little extra room in the chest.
The boyfriend jeans are stretchy and comfy. I’m wearing a 5 in these (which is probably considered sizing down in junior’s sizing), but could have definitely worn a 7 for a looser “boyfriend” fit. They just didn’t have a 7 in store, so I went with the 5s. Remember, there are lots of boyfriend styles to choose from HERE.
The cross body bag is a steal and comes in this cognac, black, and grey. It’s regularly priced at just $20, but right now it’s only $12. TWELVE DOLLARS! The bracelet is simple, classic, and will go with everything.
The earrings are something I’m very excited about, and I know y’all will be too! They are super similar in shape and size to my beloved Gorjana hoops (my favorite earrings ever), but these have little gold beads on the bottom as well. SO PRETTY! And y’all…with the code GOSHOP25, they are only $7.20 right now!
The booties are a favorite as well. They are a great neutral color, have the look of stacked wood heels, and a memory foam insole makes them extremely comfortable. They are true to size, and also come in black and olive. With the code GOSHOP25, you can grab the booties for ONLY $29.99!
I loved the whole look.

OUTFIT #2
The 2nd outfit is a much more casual look. However, the only thing that differs between outfit #1 and outfit #2 is that I traded in the romantic floral blouse for a grey tee and camo jacket. The jeans, bag, booties, and jewelry are all exactly the same. And as you can see, the overall look is quite different!
grey tee / camo jacket/ earrings /bracelet / boyfriend jeans / cross body bag / booties
The grey criss cross neck tee is short sleeved, and I felt like it was the perfect first layer for under the jacket.
The camo jacket has a grey hood and sleeves and is quite warm. The body of the jacket (as well as the sleeves and hood) are a thick fleecy sweatshirt material, so it’s soft and cozy (and not stiff at all). I love the edgy look of it. They are both junior’s sizing…so I sized up to a medium in the tee and to a large in the jacket. When you use the code GOSHOP25, the jacket is only $38.40!
And as I mentioned, everything else is exactly the same.

And in closing, this is a bit off topic, but I follow a lot of bloggers who have been at at New York Fashion Week, and so many of them absolutely swear by this luggage. I clicked on it last night and saw that it’s from JcPenney! I’m going to pick some up for myself, and I’m so excited! And with the code GOSHOP25, you can get 60% OFF the luggage right now!!!! WHOAH! I have a trip to L.A. next month (I’ll share more details very soon!) and a girl’s trip to New York in October. I haven’t bought luggage since I was engaged, so it’s definitely time. It’s hard side, has spinning wheels, and zip compartments on each side. Yep, I’m taking the plunge. Does anybody already have this luggage? Which sizes do you recommend?
And if you’re in the market for luggage, you really need to click over to see the darling hot pink interior!
A huge thank you to JCPenney for sponsoring this series! I’ve had tons of fun shopping a different retailer and finding some incredible deals! See y’all back here on Wednesday!
