I mentioned last week that Chris and I were able to get away to Vegas together for a long weekend.
It was SO much fun.  Just some alone time without a care in the world!
We slept in, ate yummy food, relaxed by the pool, gambled a bit (but not much, we aren’t very good at keeping at it when we start losing!), saw a show, and just enjoyed time together.
This is what I wore the night we grabbed a quick dinner and then headed to see LOVE, the Cirque de Soleil Beatles show.  We were keeping is super casual, because we pretty much always do.  🙂  The show was AWESOME and I highly recommend it if you are headed to Vegas.  I also recommend staying at Encore, it was gorgeous!


So here’s my casual outfit:
 black straight laced camisole (I’m wearing a medium.)/ similar white jeans 
beaded stone tassel necklace / earrings / watch / bracelet
similar cognac sandals (by same maker)
My bag is Rebecca Minkoff, but it’s several year old.  🙁

I’m wearing a medium in the shirt, and it was a good fit for me.
I really liked that the straps were adjustable, and I thought the lacy detail was pretty.
I wore THIS bra (click HERE for other size choices) with it in black, and I did not wear anything else under it.  Sorry for the grainy pic, but I thought it did a good job showing the details of the top and the necklace.

Okay so that’s the outfit for the day.
Now on to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale!
  It’s still early access, which means you can only shop if you’re a cardholder, but the sale will go live to everybody this coming Friday (the 18th), so just be ready to GO Friday morning! 
 I shared LOTS of my favorite finds so far on Friday (again, see that post HERE if you missed it).
However, I couldn’t post everything on one day, so I will be continuing to share some of my finds throughout the next couple of weeks.
And the great thing about Nordstrom…since they have free shipping and free returns…you don’t get any sort of ding for multiple orders.  In fact, I may have placed 2 separate orders on Saturday myself.  Allegedly.  
Okay, I did.

So here are just a handful of more Anniversary Sale finds that didn’t make it to Friday’s post.

Size References:  I’m wearing a 26 in the jeans (so I suggest sizing down 1 size) and a small in the tops, so I think they run true to size.  People are saying the boots run small (they didn’t have my size so the ones I’m wearing were too big)…but it seems that you should order 1/2 a size up.

I heard from lots of you last year that the sale is when you always get your Northface goodies.  Well, I loved both of these jacket options!
short bronze insulated jacket ($110.98 / After Sale $149)
For size reference, I was wearing a medium in the bronze jacket, so I suggest sizing up.  I  LOVED the high collar!
long black northface jacket ($134.90 / After Sale $180)
I think this jacket is true to size, and I’m wearing a small.
I’ve never owned a Northface jacket, but I’m really considering the bronze one on the left.  I think it would be great to throw on with workout gear or jeans.  Not bulky at all, but very warm!

I’m wearing a small in the top and a small in the capris.  I loved both!

I am writing to see if you would be willing to post information to help us with a fundraiser for my daughter.  She is 31 years old and on May 2nd she was diagnosed with Stage IV metastatic cancer.  It has spread to her lungs and spine.  We are hopeful and she has faith that is stronger than anyone I have ever met.  The saddest part of all of this is that she has twins who were born at twenty-four weeks in 2012, and they are miracle babies themselves.  Her son, Jaxon was diagnosed with retinoblastoma (eye cancer) in 2014.  His tumors have shrunk and he is doing fine.  He also has a mild case of cerebral palsy so he is not walking yet.  He also has a shunt but he is bright little boy. Her daughter Harper has speech delays, but she is making progress.  I have attached a video about the miracle of their lives. 
Elise worked part-time as an after-school director and her husband is a high school teacher.  They were just getting back on their feet from Jaxon’s doctor and hospital bills and now this.  A “Fight Like a Bethel” shirt has been created to help ease some of the financial burden that they are going through right now.  We also did not realize that there is a five month waiting period for social security benefits.
I am praying that you will take time to read the information about Elise and her battle with breast cancer, and that you will post the information about the shirts. Thank you, in advance, for your time.

    What a beautiful family! Praying for them, and I ordered a shirt. It has one of my favorite verses on the back: Exodus 14:14 "Be still. The LORD will fight for you" (paraphrased a bit).

    Okay, this is a weird question, but where do the Zella leggings hit? Like, at belly button, above belly button, below belly button? I am short (5') but I can't wear anything low rise: #BigBootyJudy over here. I'm dying to get a pair of the Zella Live-In Leggings, but I want to make sure they aren't too low 🙂 Thanks for all your suggestions…I'm eagerly awaiting shopping day Friday!

    Hi! I'm just wondering how much the Vigoss jeans stretch? Should I go with ones that fit perfect now, or the ones that are a little tight knowing that in 30 min all will be right? Help a girl out! Also, I don't know you but I love you 🙂
