And now that we are already half-way into January…

It’s time to share the BEST OF THE BEST FROM AMAZON IN 2023! We’re talking about items that I love, that YOU love, and that are tried and true.

2019 was the year that I started doing monthly Amazon hauls, and my goodness they were an instant hit! In 2020 I feel like I really hit a good stride with Amazon, and in 2021 I really refined my Amazon shopping strategy. For the first several years, shopping Amazon was hard, and I had TONS of misses. The last couple of years I’ve really enjoyed shopping Amazon, and I’ve had less and less misses. Don’t get me wrong, there are still some pretty entertaining misses every so often, but today is all about THE BEST OF THE BEST.

And now after many years of shopping Amazon, I feel certain I’ve got a pretty good handle on things! When I first started shopping Amazon, I just ordered anything and everything from all different sorts of brands. I now have GO TO brands that I know and trust.  Daily Ritual, Cable Stitch, 90 Degree by Reflex, Alexander + David, Goodthreads, Core 10, and Amazon Essentials are all brands that I consistently have incredible luck with. The quality is great, and I’m never worried about fabric or fit. Of course I’ll still take a chance and continue to order from other brands as well (I’ve had some REALLY GREAT FINDS with some random brands as evidenced by most of the picks below), but I’m so happy to have some tried and true brands to always go back to.

And let’s be honest, finding an Amazon bargain IS ALWAYS A THRILL! All items posted today are fabulous and a great deal! They are items that I feel would serve just about anybody well and are awesome closet staples that are totally cost effective.

Some of the items that made 2023’s top pick list are items that I’ve talked about in previous years as well.

1) Lumi Glotion / This product was new to me last year, and I’m completely obsessed. Sometimes I use it like a tinted moisturizer and it’s all that I wear. Other times I just put in on top of a full face of makeup when I need to freshen up my look after a long day. Most often though I find myself mixing it with my foundation. It gives some nice color and a healthy and beautiful glow. I had my sister-in-law use it when we were at the ranch a couple of months ago, and she fell in love with it and ordered it immediately It has over 25,000 5 Star Ratings and it’s UNDER $18. 2) elta MD tinted moisturizer / I swear by both the elta MD tinted moisturizer and the EltaMD sunscreen (without tint). When I first talked about it, I feel 90% of y’all were like “yes, it’s the absolute best there is.” I couldn’t believe the incredible feedback I received from y’all. It seems that y’all needed to be telling ME to.  #yalldroppedtheball

Well, instead of being mad at you (haha!), I’m just going to be happy that I am now using it myself. Makeup goes on great over it, and it’s not oily or greasy.

It’s similar to a hooded sweatshirt I’ve talked about several times before (I have 1 from Amazon and a couple from Social Threads), but it does NOT have a hood. Instead of a hood, this one has a stand-up collar, which I much prefer to a hood. It’s lined in a light fleece, so it’s warm and cozy without being bulky. Now, although it’s not bulky, it is quite oversized. I’m wearing a medium here, and it’s very roomy, but I like the fit.

This one didn’t make the top picks list, but it’s still a good one and I thought y’all might want the option. This tunic sweatshirt is lined with a light fleece so it’s very cozy. It’s fitted down around the bottom of your arm, it’s got a banded hem, functional snaps, and a hood. The one complaint I have is that the front pocket is small and not super functional, but I still love this sweatshirt. This is the pink. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

4) no show socks / I just found these socks back in November, and they’re awesome!  I gave them to my friend Lisa as part of her birthday present in December because they really are sooo good. I know what you’re thinking… socks for a birthday? HECK YES! That’s how much I love them! They are comfy, they stay put, and they’re super cute.

5) silk pillow case / Okay, ladies. If you don’t already own the silk pillow case, order it right now and be sleeping on it by tomorrow night. I personally own AND LOVE it.

6) Lumify eye drops / I bought these eye drops for the very first time last year, and now I cannot imagine not having them. I use them on days when my eyes need a little help. (I don’t use them every day, just days when I have redness.) They take out the redness almost immediately and make my eyeballs SO WHITE, which makes such a difference in overall appearance. After using the drops, the whites of my eyes really pop! The reviews are absolutely outstanding. You should one thousand percent give them a try.

7) half zip sweatshirt / This zip up sweatshirt is a must have for me. I ordered several similar ones from several different brands and loved them all (as did y’all). The sweatshirt is fleece lined, it’s got thumbholes, and it has a really cool collar (seen better on the site). For size reference, I’m wearing a medium. The medium has plenty of room and it’s a tiny bit cropped. Actually, it’s on the shorter side, but I wouldn’t say it’s cropped. The sweatshirt is quite warm, and it’s so dang cute!

These are the 7/8 leggings that everybody swears are a perfect dupe for the lululemon Align leggings. Now, I wouldn’t know because I’ve never even tried the Aligns, but I do know that I think these are incredible. THEY FEEL LIKE BUTTER. I’m wearing the black, but they come in many colors. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.

Here’s another color from a different brand. This pullover sweatshirt from Amazon is a Lululemon dupe. I don’t personally own any Lulu so I have nothing to compare it to, but I can tell you I’m obsessed with this pullover. It’s the collar for me, y’all!  I wear it with both jeans and joggers. I mean, I think it’s becoming pretty obvious that I’m a big ol’ fan of this style.

I’m wearing the “red” here. On the site, it looks a lot more like a wine color, but in real life it’s a true and vibrant red. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium. I’ll really like this one with joggers. And great news, it’s ON SALE right now!

8) ruffle sleeve tee / This tee was super popular all through the spring and summer. In addition to the two colors shown below, I also have the olive and I grabbed it in white with blue stars (but it’s sold out right now).

This orange (totally leans coral) is such a pretty spring and summer color! It’s soft, and the ruffle sleeves are flouncy, but not too exaggerated. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

And here’s the same tee, but in oatmeal! It’s a great neutral and a wonderful basic that has a little something extra because of the ruffle sleeves. Again, I’m wearing a medium.

The little pocket and the oversized ruffle on the sleeve on this tee are speaking my language, and I’m totally DYING over the stars! It’s soft and just plain cute. I’ll wear this all summer long, but I’ll for sure be sporting it Memorial Day weekend and on the 4th. #festive For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

9) batwing cardigan / This batwing cocoon cardigan is one of my very favorite Amazon finds over the last several years. I ordered it on a whim, and I didn’t even really love it when I took it out of the box. However, the moment I slipped it on I FELL IN LOVE. It’s FABULOUS.

I’m wearing the “dark khaki” here, but think it’s more of a dark and rich brown. The forearms are ribbed and fitted, it’s a batwing sleeve, and it’s a cocoon fit. It’s fitted more around the bottom, so it kind of just envelopes you. I think it’s awesome. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.

Officially this one is called “red/orange”, but I think it’s a very true red. And it comes in 16 color options, so there’s truly something for everybody! This cardi is a chunky knit and a mid-weight. It’s a batwing design, but you can see how the lower arms are super fitted, so it doesn’t look sloppy. I love the slouchy fit.

10) zip up sweater / Also super highly rated with over 1,000 5 star reviews, this half-zip pullover is FABULOUS. I’m wearing the “solid rust red”, but it comes in 17 color options! I also love the light khaki and the solid denim blue. I love this style of sweater and the relaxed fit. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium, but I think a small would do.

11) Sol de Janiero travel set / I know everybody screams and shouts about the Bum Bum cream, but it’s the shower gel that I can’t get enough of. This little set is PERFECT for travel and for gifting. In fact, this is what I gave at my girlfriends’ Favorite Things party this year.

14) pedestal bowl / I don’t even own this bowl yet, but rest assured I put it in my cart last night. I guess I had it in several collages, and y’all kept buying it. I get it! I feel like it’s a piece that would look good in just about every home. Put apples in it on your kitchen island. Put soaps in it on a bathroom shelf. Put wooden balls in it on a coffee table. IT ALL WORKS. I also grabbed the #3 kitchen towels last night as well. I know I’ve mentioned this before, but I swear that a new set of kitchen towels makes me want to clean the whole house.

15) short sleeve sweater / I LOVE a short-sleeved sweater, and this puff sleeved one is DARLING. This link has v-neck options, crew neck options, and even square neck options! I’m wearing the C-beige, and while I’m definitely keeping this one because I think it’s the perfect neutral, I’m also going to get a bold color. I’m thinking the bright pink! I took this right out of the box because it arrived while I was doing my try on, so it hadn’t yet received the wrinkle spray treatment, but how great are these sleeves! The boxy pleats, the subtle puff, and the banded hem… I love it all so much! This sweater has excellent ratings.

16) lounge set / I can’t find what month I talked about this set in, so I can’t find a picture of me in it. I have it in khaki, but it comes in 12 colors.

17) tunic dress / This bohemian floral mini dress is something I showed in 3 colors over several months. This is the “ocean blue”. It’s a romantic dress with billowy sleeves with a relaxed and flowy fit. The neck is a deep v and has ties that I like to leave undone. It’s comfortable, lightweight, and just a dreamy summer dress. It’s not lined, but it’s not see-thru either. I’m wearing a medium in this one, but I’m wearing a small in the next two colors. Because of the length, I think I decided that I prefer the fit of the medium.

This is the “saffron”. As you can see, the small is still very roomy, but it is a bit shorter. I’m 5’4′ with long legs for my height.

This is the “caramel”. I actually think this one would transition nicely to fall and would pair great with a denim jacket and boots. If you’ve got a trip to Nashville coming up, grab it! Again, I’m wearing a small in this one.

18) off the shoulder dress / So are y’all ready to be WOWed? Because I feel certain I’m about to WOW y’all.

Look at this chiffon maxi dress!!! I’m wearing the “pure pink”, and it’s absolutely GORGEOUS. I love that it’s off the shoulder, and that’s new for me, because I don’t typically like off the shoulder tops. It’s a little bit sexy by showing off the shoulders and the collarbone, but it covers up my upper arms. TOTAL SCORE! Throw it on with a pair of heels, and you are going to look taller and skinnier (than you already are). 😉 For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

19) smocked maxi dress / I first shared this ruffled shoulder smocked dress in the “fire orange floral”, and I loved it so much I grabbed another color. I went with a solid this time in this gorgeous emerald green. The color is STUNNING.  Not only is the top smocked, but the sleeves have smocking as well, which makes them incredibly comfortable. And check out the little ruffles on the sleeves. SO CUTE. The pockets and the little ruffle on the hem complete the dress. If you don’t like the green, there are several florals and several solids to choose from. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.

And here’s the orange floral! I immediately fell in love with this bold orange with pink and white flowers. The straps and the top are both smocked (I love how smocking makes a fit so forgiving), which makes the dress so soft and comfy. The skirt is tiered, and it’s got pockets! And seriously, look at the smocked and ruffled straps!!! For size reference, I’m wearing a small.

I feel like this dress could be at least twice the price at Anthro. It’s also giving me a bit of Farm Rio vibes! It’s beautifully made and totally special.

MORE TIP TOP FAVORITES…

And y’all, I’ve got a big OOPS here.  I was making this collage late at night, and I made several mistakes. There are four items that were actually in the Top 10 for the year that I accidentally left off of the 2023 collage!

I WAS INFLUENCED.

Literally, I feel like 1/2 of the influencers I follow told me that I needed this coatigan. They told me I needed it, I believed them, I bought it, and they were right.

It’s called a “coatigan” because it’s 50% coat and 50% cardigan. I’ll tell you this.. I think it’s 100% fabulous. I actually don’t love wearing a coat, so I think this is a great option. And because its 1/2 cardigan, you won’t even need to take it off when inside if you don’t want to. You could wear this all day long and it would be fine. These slippers were a top find. I’m guessing that now only did y’all buy them for yourselves, but you also bought them as gifts! They have hard soles, so they are perfect for running out to the mailbox driving carpool, etc. They have over 7,000 reviews, and the majority are 5 stars! If you’re a half size, I would suggest size up.

These sheets have been a top pick for several years in a row.

They are soft, they are crisp, they are cool, and they have over 300,000 5 star reviews! Yes, you read that right. OVER 300,000 REVIEWS.
