It’s Thursday, y’all.
We’re over halfway through the week, the sun is shining, and it’s not 100 degrees where I live anymore! WoooooooooHooooooooooooo!
In fact, a couple of mornings this week we started the day off in the 40s. Now sure, we might get up to the 80s by the afternoons, BUT I’LL TAKE IT!
FALL IS OFFICIALLY HERE!
Speaking of fall, I’ve got some great pieces today that are perfect for early fall outfits. And EVERYTHING I’m talking about today is ON SALE!
This first piece might look familiar to you because I first introduced it to you last year. I would say it was one of my personal Top 10 Favorite finds for the year. When I realized it was back again AND it came in new colors, featuring it again was a total no brainer.
Because this bomber jacket? Well, it’s the bomb. And it’s ON SALE for UNDER $50!!!
I love it so soooooooo much.
Y’all know I love the stand-up collar, and the bomber styling is super cute. The material is soft, comfy, and has just a bit of stretch in it. It’s not heavy, so it’s going to be perfect for early fall and spring as well.
This is the olive (which actually functions as a neutral), but it also comes in black and khaki this year. I think it will be cute with regular jeans, white denim, and black denim. I’ll wear it with both boot-cut jeans, straight legged jeans, and skinny jeans all season long.
I’m wearing a medium. A small would definitely fit, but I like the relaxed and roomy fit of the medium.
Here you can get a better peek at the cute collar.
These earrings were a fun find this month. You can see that the pearl stud goes in like a regular earring, and the jacket is actually the earring back that you attach to the post stud on the back of your earlobe. It creates a totally chic look that’s also a bit edgy. And they are super affordable at ONLY $11 right now.
This tote bag pairs so nicely with this jacket.
I love the color combo with the neutral base accented with the pink and olive, and it holds a ton without being too big. It also comes with a good size bag inside (solid olive) that can be used as a pouch or carried on its own as a wristlet. And get this, ladies! It’s 50% OFF right now!
I’ve combined two different bracelet stacks here and love the look.
Now it’s time to talk about the jeans!
These boot cut jeans are fabulous. And right now they are UNDER $30! They do have some stretch in them, but they aren’t as stretchy as the other boot cut jeans I often talk about, so these will be great for those of you that prefer a little less stretch and a little more structure. I’m 5’4″ and the length is good on me with heeled booties, but there are reviewers that are 5’7″ that say the length is good for them too. I sized up to a 6 because my tummy is my problem area, but if it’s not yours, you should be able to stick to your regular size.
Check out the side slits on the hem.
Here’s a better look at the slits.
This look could be great for so many different types of events.
Here are a couple of times I’ve styled the jacket in the past…
With ankle jeans here…
And with a graphic tee here…
A GREAT FALL DRESSES
I’ve also got a great fall dress for y’all today. And it’s 50% OFF!
The entire dress is sheer, but it has a stretchy slip underlay that keeps it modest throughout the bodice. The sleeves obviously continue to be sheer and the hem on the sheer overlay overhangs the underlay, so that’s sheer as well.
The sheerness is definitely unexpected, especially with the button up design! And the pintucks pleats are classic.
For size reference, I’m wearing a medium. I think I would prefer a small.
And this bag! The color! The size! THE SCALLOPS! It’s all soooooooo good and totally affordable, especially at 50% OFF. It also comes in black and cream.
The dress is great worn on its own, but it’s also perfect with a denim jacket thrown on top.
If you don’t have a denim jacket you love, you need to consider this denim jacket. It’s a great wash, it’s stretchy, and it’s lightweight. I’m wearing the “light wash”, but there are 3 other options for you to choose from. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium, but it does run a bit big. I would recommend sizing down if between sizes.
These booties are the same ones I was wearing with the boot cut jeans above. They’re a beautiful cognac color with a stack heel and a flattering cut out at the ankle. Great with both dresses and jeans, and right now they are under $50. True to size for me.
WHAT I’VE LEARNED…
Now that I’ve shopped at Kohl’s for over a year now, let’s review some things I’ve learned:
- The deals are incredible.
- They have items for every type of occasion you could ever imagine attending. From the gym to a wedding, they have you covered.
- Most importantly, I’ve already found some brands that I know work for me!
Sonoma (Sonoma is the brand of the bomber jacket, and I’ve purchased several other Sonoma pieces as well. They have some really great closet staples.)
Lauren Conrad (The denim jacket is from the Lauren Conrad collection, as are several dresses that I’ve featured over the last year.)
Nine West (Nine West is the brand of the booties and the jeans. There are lots of clothes, bags, and shoes from Nine West.)
FLX (FLX is the athleisure brand that I’ve highlighted a couple of times. They have items for both men and women.)
Draper James, the clothing line by Reese Witherspoon always has tons of darling options. You’ve seen several of my favorites from the line!
And I suggest clicking HERE and browsing around for yourself! They have everything categorized so nicely, which makes shopping a breeze!
Oh, and don’t forget that Kohl’s now has Sephora. It’s super convenient to throw makeup or skincare in your cart too!
And as always, don’t forget that when shopping at Kohl’s you can get FREE SHIPPING with your $49+ purchase!
