Happy Monday, Ladies!
I hope you all had a great weekend with the ones you love. We had a lot of at home time Friday night and Saturday (which was just what I needed), and then the cherry on top was an awesome church service AND A NAP on Sunday. #allthepraisehands
On Friday Favorites last week I shared some collages I had created for fall outfits, and they were a HUGE hit with y’all! Seems like everybody is as ready for fall as I am. Well, today you are going to see me wearing some of those outfits I teased on Friday. I’ve also planned some new outfits, so you will see some of those today too. I am waiting for some of the new pieces to come in, so even though you’ll get to see the collages today, you’ll have to wait and see some of the outfits later in the week. Get excited though, because everything is DARLING!
When you’re checking out today’s outfits, you’ll see that a lot of the outfits share some of the same pieces. This was very intentional because I wanted y’all to see the versatility of the clothes and accessories! I feel confident that all of these pieces will serve you and your closet well.
Here’s a sneak peek…
Outfit #1 is awesome, y’all! And I can tell you now that this is going to be one of my fall uniforms for sure.
In the outfit pics you’re about to see, you can’t really see the boots, but look how cute they are! I do recommend sizing up a 1/2 in the booties.
You can’t get much better than a drapey shirt with a super relaxed fit and my favorite itty bitty boot cut jeans! The shirt can be worn both out and in a half tuck. I like it both ways.
The color of this shirt is gorgeous and PERFECT for fall. It’s a light enough weight to be worn now, and it will be so cute layered under cardigans and jackets later. It also comes in a really pretty cream color.
You are going to see these earrings and these necklaces throughout today’s post. I wanted y’all to see how they go with so many different looks.
I’ve been singing the praises of the Wit and Wisdom itty bitty boot cut jeans for years now, and this year is no different. THESE JEANS ARE INCREDIBLE. As I’ve said time and time again, they make you look 2 inches taller and at least 5 pounds thinner than you already are. 😉 They are stretchy, comfortable, and will make you feel so confident. The majority of people size down 1 size in these jeans.
I’m 5’4″ (with long legs for my height), and I wear the regular sizing (not petites).
If you prefer a 1/2 tuck to tunic style, here’s how it looks.
All the same jewelry, the same jeans, the same bag, and the same booties…
But now we have a completely different outfit with this peplum blouse and this cardigan!
This floral peplum blouse looks great with jeans, but I’ve also shown it before (in mirror selfies) with my favorite black pants ever. I’m wearing the “navy multi-block print”. The cut is so flattering and it feels like you are wearing pajamas. I’m wearing a small in the top.
The cardigan is a piece you are going to see 3 more times in today’s post alone, and you’ll continue to see it throughout the season. It comes in tons of colors, but you need to scroll down on the listing to make sure you see all of the options. This is the “pink adobe” and it’s a really soft and pretty blush. I also love the “tan cobblestone heather”, although it’s kind of hard to see past the outfit styling on the site. It would be a wonderful neutral cardi to have in your closet. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.
Switch out the boot cut jeans for the best black pants ever (size down 1) , and you’ve got a perfect outfit for the office.
I love a peasant blouse.
Always have, and always will.
I especially love it with boot cut jeans. It’s a total boho vibe, and I’m here for it.
This blouse is a gorgeous color. It’s officially called “twilight mauve”, but I think of it as a smoky lilac color. It has lacy embroidered smocking up top with a split v neck and tassels. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.
All of this jewelry looks great with this blouse, which kind of surprised me! I wouldn’t normally pair green with this color, but they looked beautiful together.
So this was the outfit everybody seemed the most excited about on Friday’s post.
The jeans I had in the collage above got delivered in the wrong size, so I subbed in these lighter wash fray hem kick flare jeans.
I LOVE that they have such a fun cropped fit, the wide banded hem, and the step hem.
In addition to all of the fun style elements, they also have the Ab-Solution mold and hold technology that I pretty much have to have in all of my jeans now. What can I say, I WANT MY JEANS TO MOLD ME AND HOLD ME. 😉 I’m wearing my regular size 4, but they were quite snug.
This puff-sleeve sweater comes in 4 colors, and although short sleeved it is quite warm, so you might want to wait until cooler temps to wear it. It has a puffed and pleated sleeve, and a banded hem on each sleeve and at the waist. The sweater is fitted, but not tight. For size reference I’m wearing a medium.
LOOK AT THE BOTTOM OF THE JEANS! SO FLIPPING CUTE! If you need to elevate your denim game, maybe these are just the jeans you need.
I predict these plaid mules are going to be my favorite shoes this fall. I got them in neutral too, and I’m going to love having the option of the classic (but totally modern) plaid with the chunky chain. I recommend sizing up a 1/2 in the mules.
I love the whole outfit.
I wanted to have a couple of office appropriate outfits in my Fall Outfits post, so here’s 1 of them!
This blouse comes in 18 different patterns and colors. It comes in classic black as well. It is the quintessential office blouse. Modest, but stylish. I’m wearing a medium.
This is the “edgehill geo”. And just like all of the other outfits on today’s post, the jewelry looks great with it as well.
If you follow along regularly, you know my deep and abiding love for these pants.
Everybody needs these pants, but if you work in an office environment, YOU ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO HAVE THEM.
PLEASE listen to me.
PLEAAAAAAAAAAAASE let me tell you to.
Seriously, they are a MUST HAVE. They are super soft with a lot of stretch and they are incredibly comfy. I’m telling you, there’s nothing like them. The front pockets are functional, and they have a faux zipper, but they do have 2 hook and eye closures with 1 button.
You should replace all of your black slacks you own with these. You will never want to wear any other black pants again for the rest of your life. And I’m telling you, I’m not even being dramatic. THEY’RE THAT GOOD. They are stretchy, comfy, and incredibly flattering.
For size reference, I recommend sizing down 1 in the pants.
The rest of today’s outfits are outfits that I can’t wait to wear, but I’m still waiting for some of the pieces to come in.
For this outfit, I already have everything except for the blouse!
With the cardigan, this outfit is perfect for the office.
Switch out the cardigan for a leather jacket or lose the cardigan all together, and you’ve got yourself an awesome date night outfit.
I told you to plan on seeing this cardi lots today, and here it is for the third time now.
And again, I have everything in this outfit except the blouse. I picked up the necklace on Friday when I was at the mall, and it’s great.
I actually have everything in this outfit already, but the jacket didn’t arrive until late last night. For an idea of how it fits, head to the site to see it on their model. I’ve had the blouse for several months now and love it. It’s one that can easily be dressed up or down. I’ve worn it with shorts, it looks great with jeans, and I could even be paired with slacks for the office.
Okay, I’m super excited about the potential for this plaid shacket.
Are y’all shacket people? I’ve actually never even tried a shacket before. I’ve just never been drawn to them, UNTIL NOW.
It was the colors that I fell in love with. I can’t wait to get it in!
But listen, if you’re not a shacket person, that’s why I showed you the cardi. It’s cute with the cardi too! #toldyouitwasversatile
This is actually the outfit that you saw on Friday’s post, but the cream pants haven’t come in yet. Look for this outfit on me later this week. I think these pants are going to be a great option for teachers that can’t wear denim every day. I mean, yes, the pants are in fact denim….but I think you would totally be able to get away with them during the week.
The dress didn’t come in yet, but I’m looking forward to showing y’all this outfit too!
As soon as the white banded tee comes in, I promise to share the whole look with you.
That’s it for today, y’all! I hope you got some serious fall outfit inspiration and were able to grab a piece or 2 for your own closets! A huge THANK YOU to Nordstrom and ShopStyle for sponsoring this post.
