1 Cardigan, 4 Ways!

So I got a new cardigan.
And I love it.

I love the colors, the design, the length, how it drapes, and the overall fit.
Oh, and the pockets.

 I love it so much that I wore it 2 days in a row (the first 2 days I owned it).
But I wore it in 2 totally different outfits.
And after that, I started thinking about other ways I could wear it, and I came up with two more additional outfits. So I put them on for fun to see if they were as cute in real life as they were in my head. And they totally were. 😉
That’s right…4 OUTFITS with this 1 CARDIGAN!


So, the first day I got it, here’s how I wore it.
Super casual with a regular ol’ tee and converse.

LOOK #1:  Grey Tee, Jeans, and Converse
Here’s a look at the cardigan from all sides!
For size reference, I’m wearing a small.
(Just fyi:  I have no idea what the stock is like for this sweater, but I do know that the Large is already sold out.  I’m hoping it’s well stocked in Small and Medium.)


The second day I wore it I dressed it up a little bit with my leopard booties and brightened it up a bit with a white tee (instead of the dark grey tee)!


Look #2: White Tee, Jeans, and Leopard Booties


I really liked it with the booties. But let’s be honest, these leopard booties make everything look good. 😉 Remember, if you buy the booties, go up 1/2 a size.

You will definitely want to order a 1/2 size up!
So when I got home from my errands last Thursday (wearing the above outfit), I decided to put together one of the other outfits I had in my head.
I wanted to go SUPER casual and comfy with it, so I paired it with a tunic tee, leggings, and 
my cardi UGGs.

Now, before we get to the last outfit…
I’m going to need to make a BIG FREAKING DEAL THESE leggings.
Some day last week I posted a LOFT sale on facebook and put it out there that I was thinking about ordering their leggings because I had some readers that swore by them.
WELL.
I got lots of comments from some of you saying you liked these leggings better than the MUST HAVE leggings.
What’s that you say?
BETTER than the Hue Must Have Leggings?
HOW COULD THAT BE?
Well, I ordered them on the spot because I of course had to see for myself!

I got them on Thursday, and let me say this:  Y’all know your stuff.
Because these leggings?
THEY. ARE. AWESOME.

I wish the waistband was as wide as the HUE, but that’s the only complaint I had about these leggings.  Here’s what I love about the the LOFT leggings:
*They are shorter, so I could  actually wear them with flats if I ever wanted to.
*The material has a tiny bit of a sheen to it.  Now, they aren’t shiny AT ALL, but the material does seem to be a bit nicer and can be dressed up easier.
*A couple of reviewers even mentioned that the black have not faded even after multiple washes (and I can’t say the same about the HUE leggings).

*And just like the HUE leggings:
They aren’t see through at all, they hold their shape, they don’t sag in the hiney, and they stay put at your waist.
They are everything a pair of leggings should be.
FOR SIZE REFERENCE:
I have a small in these and a small in the MUST HAVE leggings as well, so I would say they are both true to size.  However, I do think the LOFT leggings run a bit smaller.  The smalls in these are a bit tighter than the smalls in the HUE leggings.

So, when I had on outfit #3, I decided I wanted to try a dressier look with the same pair of leggings and the same tunic.  So I switched out the UGGs for tall cognac boots, I added a gold necklace, and voila!  A 4th way to wear this cardigan!

And THIS tunic?
Well, it’s just as amazing as the leggings.
It’s sooo soft.
And soooooooooooo comfy.
And it just might be the most comfortable shirt I own.
The inside of it feels like a soft sweatshirt!  I love it!
It fits nicely (is a bit over-sized) without being “big”…and the v-neck adds a feminine touch.
I love it with leggings (obviously), but I think it’s also going to be great with skinny jeans and tall boots!

The colorblock and the close fit of the sweater along with the wide waistband of the pants all work together to really define her waistline!  I mean y’all, she walked out of the dressing room with the biggest grin on her face and exclaimed “Look!  I’m skinny!”  She looked and felt amazing in this outfit!!!!!

My UGG boots were one of my very favorite purchases last year.  I wore them constantly.  Out doing errands…to dinner…to the mall….running Carter to school….even just around the house when my feet were really cold!  I ADORE them.
And here’s the deal, I think I like these even better!

I think this is great with jeans, but it would also be good with dressy pants or a skirt!  I think it’s a little bit sexy even though it’s not revealing at all. And I love the gathered shoulders.

I put this on facebook last night….but my mom bought THESE boots ON SALE yesterday and said they were “comfy, true to size, and just plain cute!”

I also put these Kendra Scott earrings on facebook on Saturday morning when I realized they were NEW ON SALE, and (amazingly!) there are lots of colors still available!  These would make awesome Christmas presents!

    While I wear a small in the Hue leggings, the small at the Loft were way too tiny. They were so tight I couldn't get them all the way up my legs. I am 5'4" and a size 6. I think a medium would work better, but I haven't had a chance to try them yet. Otherwise, I agree, they are thicker and nicer than Hue.
