Outfits of the Day #ootd

This post is going to be short and sweet today!  We were out of town all last week (pictures of that to come), so today you are getting a handful of OUTFITS OF THE DAY that I’ve worn over the last couple of weeks.

OUTFIT #1

I’m still loving this white peplum top I got at Loft a couple of months ago!  It’s almost sold out, so I have some more options for you in a minute! And I’ve been living in my Anthro pilcro shorts all summer.  I’m wearing a medium petite in the top (would have preferred a regular small, but they didn’t have in store when I was shopping) and a 27 in the shorts (true to size).  Concerning the sizing of the shoreline converse, I’m normally a 6 1/2, sometimes a 6, and I got the 6.  I would think most people need to size down a 1/2 size.   And look at my new necklace!  It looks great with this summer outfit, but it’s going to be amazing in the fall!  Use the code leathertassel20 for 20% OFF until Wednesday morning!

OUTFIT #2

I ran into Old Navy several weeks ago when doing errands.  Old Navy is always either a big ol’ hit or a big ol’ miss for me…but this time, it was a hit!  I sized up and am wearing a medium in the top.  I’m wearing a 4 in the shorts, so they are true to size.

OUTFIT #3

I wore this last outfit on Saturday when I was grocery shopping and doing laundry after returning from vacation.  Re-entry is hard, y’all!  😉 I love my new Weekend Warrior tee, from the makers of the Happy Camper tee!  I sized up to a medium because I wanted a slouchy look.  If you want a more fitted look, go with your regular size.  I sized down a 1/2 size in the converse.

OUTFIT #4

This embroidered tee has definitely become a favorite.  I find myself reaching for it quite frequently.  Yesterday we headed to my nephew’s birthday (I can’t believe he’s 3 already!) and I reached for it again.  It’s no longer available in my royal blue color, but it is now available in navy!  And it comes in plus size as well!  The Lucky brand actually does a very nice job of offering many of their items in both regular and plus size options.  I’m wearing a small in the top, so I think it’s true to size.  It has a very nice drape and billowy shirring in front and back.  The yoke is somewhat see through, but I wear a regular nude bra with it with no problems.
