Mother’s Day Ideas: Treat Your Mom and/or Yourself!

Mother’s Day is right around the corner (only 2 weekends away), so today’s post is all about giving y’all ideas to celebrate the mamas in our lives! Heaven knows that they (WE!) deserve some celebrating.

With less than a couple of weeks to go, it’s time for us to grab a gift or 2 for our sweet moms. And let’s be honest, it’s also time to throw a hint our husband’s and kid’s ways as well.

1) charcuterie board / Charcuterie boards are all the rage right now. Gift your mom a board by itself, or maybe put some pretty packaged items on it like dried fruits, olives, specialty crackers, jam etc. She will have the items on hand next time she entertains and will be well on her way to creating a wow worthy board! 2) Tory Burch bag / Butter yellow is trending right now, and this bag is FABULOUS. Now, if yellow isn’t your thing, it also comes in cream and black. 3) stud earrings / Every mama needs a pair of studs that she loves. You really can’t get more classic than a pair of sparkly studs, and these are incredibly sparkly AND an incredible deal. Personally, I know that I used to want a pair of real diamond studs for myself, but I don’t anymore. Now the fake ones are so pretty, so sparkly, and look so real!!!

4) Electric Picks clover necklace / If you’re on Instagram for any amount of time, I know you know about Electric Picks. Several big name influencers have done some huge collaborations with the brand, and the pieces are lovely and always incredibly popular. This clover necklace is GORGEOUS in person. If I didn’t have my cross necklace that I wear every single day, this might be the necklace that I would wear. It truly is stunningly beautiful and would make a fantastic gift. 5) cross necklace / This necklace is almost identical to my cross that I wear every day. Chris gave it to me for Christmas years ago, and behind my wedding rings, it’s my favorite piece of jewelry. This one is beautiful, and I think it looks shockingly real. It also comes in gold HERE.

6) Barefoot Dreams cardigan / I’ve lost track of how many years I’ve been recommending a Barefoot Dreams cardigan as THE PERFECT gift for your mom or mother-in-law, but I think we’re going on 10 years. This is the 16×16 option with the whitewashed herringbone frame. You can go as small as 8×8 (perfect for a shelf or bookcase), or you could go as big as 44×44! I went with the 16×16 because I wasn’t sure if mom would want to put it in her built-ins (they have built ins in both their living room and family room), or if she was going to want to hang it on the wall. I really don’t know what it is, but I don’t care… I just love it.

16) pillowcase / I have AND LOVE this pillowcase. Erika gave it one year at our annual gift exchange, and I’ve slept with it every night since. I even travel with it because it’s just not the same to sleep without it. It’s good for your skin, for your hair, and I love how it’s cold when I lay down my head at night. 17) Stanley tumbler / I didn’t own a Stanley cup for years when they first became popular. I just didn’t understand the hype. Then I got one as a gift, and now I get it and own 3.
