This post is sponsored by Nordstrom and ShopStyle. The product selections are my own, and I only highlight and promote products that I truly love. Thank you for supporting the brands that support Sheaffer Told Me To!
Happy Monday, Y’all! Only 5 more sleeps ‘til Christmas!
But don’t you worry, for those of you that still need some gift ideas, I’m here for you. #procastinatorsunite
I’ve got a super cute outfit for y’all, I have some flat lays with some excellent gift ideas, and I’ve even got 1 final Christmas collage.
Now here’s the deal. If you live close to a Nordstrom, they’ve got a service that you are going to need to utilize. If you still need presents, this is going to be your saving grace. You can BUY ONLINE TODAY, and you can PICK UP IN STORE either today or tomorrow! It’s crazy convenient and a perfect option for those of you that still need a gift or two to throw under the tree.
You need to make sure you have your zip code entered in either at Nordstrom.com or on the app, and then if your Nordstrom or a nearby Nordstrom has the item in store, FREE PICKUP becomes an option.
- Pick Up Today: shows the current selection in your single chosen pickup store
- Pick Up Tomorrow: shows the selection of all locations in your area, and we’ll ship the item to your chosen store for pickup the next day.
LADIES. This is going to absolutely save some of you!
You’ll get a text or e-mail telling you when your order is ready, and that’s it!
And listen, if you use this service, you don’t even have to go inside the store if you don’t want to! Nordstrom locations now have parking spots designated as pick up areas. You pull into one of those areas, you call the number on the sign in the parking spot, they will ask you your name and order number, and they will bring your items out to your car! A Nordstrom associate will walk out, place the bags in your trunk, close your trunk up, holler “THANK YOU!”, and then you will both be on your merry way.
Again, YOU DON’T EVEN HAVE TO GO INSIDE.
IT. IS. GENIUS.
So, last week I did go in. I went to the mall, and it was BANANAS. Like straight up crazy town. There were sooooooooooooo many people. Thankfully, I was able to get the last couple of items I needed at Nordstrom, so the trip was #worthit! Hooray!
And not only did I get the gifts I needed, I also snagged this sweater and some super cute gift wrap!
My local Nordstrom stores have complementary gift-wrapping stations set up in store, and I’m sure YOUR local Nordstrom does too! LOOK HOW CUTE THEIR PAPERS ARE! Sadly, I didn’t have time to wait and have my packages gift wrapped while I was there, but they were nice enough to let me select the sizes of boxes I needed, and then they just pulled off several large pieces of their complementary wrapping paper and colorful ribbon. I came home and wrapped them on my own.
So if you have the time, wait a bit and have the professionals wrap your packages beautifully for you! If you don’t have the time, just call the number and they’ll bring your order out to the car. But if you’ve got some extra time, pop in the store to either have your gifts wrapped or at least grab some paper to wrap them yourself at home.
These elastic bracelets are so cute, so fun, and they would make excellent gifts! Check them out online, and maybe you can buy them online and then pick them up today or tomorrow. (Even if they aren’t available nearby, snag them for yourself now even though they might not arrive until after Christmas.)
These jagged hem slim jeans are perhaps my favorite pair of jeans I’ve bought all year. And now they are ON SALE! 40% OFF!
They are from Wit and Wisdom, which means they boast our beloved Ab-Solution technology. They are super stretchy, they suck you in in all the right places, and they are crazy flattering. I’m wearing my regular size 4, but most people size down in Wit and Wisdom jeans because of the stretch.
Y’all. Let’s talk about the boots.
I asked my mother-in-law for these years ago for Christmas, and she delivered!
The first pair of Hunter boots I bought were a light grey because I thought it would be smart to have a neutral color. But now that I have the red, I never reach for the grey. Even if you don’t go for the red, I suggest a bright and happy color!

Now I’ve got some more gift options for y’all!
The leopard slippers are ON SALE for under $20 right now, and I happen to love them! They have mixed reviews, but I think they are comfy and great. The rainbow knit mittens are on sale for ONLY $12, the beanie and scarf set is on sale for ONLY $20, and the nail polish set is under $10!
The Jo Malone candle is a gift for the hard to buy for person on your list. It’s a luxury candle, and I don’t know a person that wouldn’t love it. The Volcano candle has a cult following, and it’s quite a bit less expensive, so it’s a very nice option too.
Here are some great jewelry options for gifts! The elastic bracelets that I’m wearing in the post come in the black and white striped bag with the mustard tie, the initial necklace comes in the nice little gift box, and Kendra jewelry always comes in the nice Kendra drawstring bag.
I’m obsessed with this lounge set. And these Ugg slippers? You can go wrong giving them as a gift. You also can’t go wrong gifting them to yourself. That’s what I did.
I also grabbed these boots for myself when at the mall on Thursday! I’ve been looking for something like this for a bit now, but this is the first time I’d seen these! I love the style, I love the little leopard tab, and I love the wedge heel. I haven’t worn them yet, so I don’t have an in-depth review, but they seem quite comfy and they are definitely super cute.
And now I’ve got 3 outfit ideas for you!
I’m sorry, but you can’t get cuter than this sweater. It’s a classic crew neck, it’s super soft and cozy, and it comes in several solid colors…but I’m absolutely smitten with the stripes. The sweater has a super relaxed fit, which I love. I first ordered the medium, but I’ve already ordered the small. And even though there’s no red in it, I think it’s so cute styled with the red Hunter boots. It would also be really cute with the booties above or even with a great pair of fashion sneakers.
This outfit contains the MUST HAVE leggings and the long sleeve tee that I’ve been talking about since last year. It’s also got the sunglasses I’ve been talking about for several years now. I own them in both this matte black and the tortoise. The bomber jacket is the same one you saw on this post, but in red instead of the bronze color. I just think it’s so festive! The sneakers are a great buy for $85.
Click HERE to see me in the tee, the leggings, and the bronze version (officially called grey sparrow) of the bomber puffer jacket.
A classic crewneck sweater and a plaid scarf. Such a classic combination for this time of year. And the scarf is ONLY $12! The sweater is on sale too!
And Some More Favorites for Men and Women…
I went ahead and took the liberty to create one last collage for the season. Again, these are items that will be available for many of you at your local Nordstrom stores either today or tomorrow. All you have to do is purchase them online and then select IN STORE pickup if the option is available!
The sequined dangle earrings are SO MUCH FUN and 50% OFF! My favorite throw is seriously the most perfect gift for just about anybody on your list from your 3-year old daughter, to your college niece, to your 84 year old grandfather. This Bose speaker is a total no brainer for any boy/man that you need to buy for. And I just ordered the Burberry HER Eau Du Parfum for myself after my friend Ralonda hopped in my car while wearing it on Friday night. The scent was so lovely, but not too overpowering, and I ordered it that night!
1) quarter zip pullover / 2) sequined dangle earrings / 3) my favorite throw / 4) semi-precious ring / 5) camo pajamas / 6) Bose speaker / 7) scarf / 8) Burberry HER Eau Du Parfum / 9) Hunter wedge booties / 10) bracelet / 11) Kiehl’s Power Packed Essentials Set / 12) UGG slippers
And some items that caught my eye for the kids on your list…
* Carter would love this wireless charging pad.
* If you’ve got a toddler, there’s a great selection of Melissa and Doug sets, some of which arrive by Christmas.
* This hatch nightlight would be good for your 5-year old or your teenager! It’s a sound machine, and it uses light for an alarm clock. SO COOL.
* You can also find a good selection of puzzles, games, and toys HERE.
* Carter is obsessed with his Adidas slide sandals, maybe your son would be too!
Okay, that’s all ladies!
My post on Wednesday will have a few pics of my home, the handprint art that Carter has done over the years (so y’all will have time to do it before Christmas with your little ones), and maybe even a Christmas recipe! See you back here on Wednesday!
And a huge THANK YOU to Nordstrom and ShopStyle for sponsoring this post.
