Can’t get much cooler than that.
The sleeve on the right is totally styled and stayin’ put!
So, today I thought I would feature some shirts (and 1 jacket) with perfect sleeves to roll:
denim shirt HERE
classic oxford shirt HERE (striped and solid versions available)
I love hos the striped shirt looks with the light distressed jeans.
white swiss dot button down HERE
******roll sleeve cargo jacket HERE******
I am LOVING this light cargo jacket! Mine that I’ve highlighted time and time again (because I wear it constantly) has been out of stock for over a month. This one is very similar and I think it’s around $25 less! I really like the light color.
See the other posts with my military jacket HERE.
And I thought you might want to see some pants to wear the above shirts with.
white brocade skinny jeans HERE
vigoss jeans HERE (my new FAVORITES!)
trouser jeans HERE
vigoss embroidered jeans HERE
Or, if you prefer shorts, my favorite (in tons of different colors) are HERE!
There are also lots of different options at LOFT HERE.
And before you go, I present to you, the 8th time I’ve worn my denim jacket.
I SWEAR to you (and I only swear when absolutely necessary! ha!) that the jacket makes every single outfit you will ever put on your body better.
The “eh” (shrug and tilt) and so-so outfits become really cute.
And the already cute outfits get to be OVER THE TOP CUTE
without looking like you are trying to hard CUTE.
Which, let’s be honest, is the perfect kind of cute.
Denim jacket HERE
(And just for the record, if you haven’t bought it for yourself yet, that’s a cryin’ shame.
You too will wear it 8 times in like 11 days.)
A couple of neon shirt options from LOFT HERE.
LOTS of options from GAP HERE.
I’m wearing my silver MK watch in this pic because my white ceramic one hadn’t come in yet.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE wearing the silver one too.
Mine is out of stock, but click HERE for one that is very similar! It’s 40% off right now!!!!
I think it’s actually a man’s watch, but women actually left reviews saying they own it and love it.
As long as you are okay with a large watch face (which I love), then you should be fine!
p.s.
If you didn’t see the blog yesterday, make sure you click HERE and see what I’m highlighting from Nordstrom that just appeared in summer markdowns!
You’ll especially want to check out my fav running shoes that are complete awesomeness.
Your feet will thank you!

You're wearing that shirt I want! I am about to go to your house, break in and steal it! I love it! I am also really fascinated by the sleeve roll…like really intrigued…

That is awesome! Who knew there was a correct way to roll your sleeves! I think I might just need a personal stylist 😉

Love your blog! I got the cargo jacket before it was out of stock. The first time I wore it, my 3 year old daughter said, "Mom, that's a rock star jacket!" So thanks for giving me cred with her 🙂 Nordstrom should pay you & Shay!

Will definitely be trying the new sleeve roll in my near future! 🙂

Way cool! I always wondered how to do that. I love layering and rolling my sleeves under a jacket or cardigan. Except mine were always bunched up and awkward. LOVE those white brocade jeans too.

This is the most important information I've received all week! I can totally roll my sleeves in a stylish and practical way now! So excited! Thanks for sharing! And I also have a new way to wear my denim jacket now that I saw yours with the neon pink tee!

What a surprise to find Mara from A Blog About Love on your blog today (she's the one modeling the sleeve roll & she wrote the Babble article)! A good surprise. I read her blog daily, as well as yours. Thanks for all the inspiration. Fashion used to scare me a bit, but thanks to blogs like yours, I'm much more confident in my choices than I used to be. Keep it up! Here's the link to Mara's blog (she's wonderful!): http://www.ablogaboutlove.com/

Just curious to know if you've tried the 1969 denim jacket from Gap, and how it compares to yours from Nordstrom. I like both! Also, thanks for such a cute blog…I love reading it every morning before my kids wake up. 🙂

Super cool, indeed! Love these fashion inspirations of yours. It seems that rolled up sleeves are making a comeback—and it's pretty great. Anyway, your posts are lovely. You dress well and choose the right combinations. Hope to see more of your write-ups. Keep posting those ideas and thoughts of yours. 🙂
