NEW TO SALE
Today is allllllll about NEW TO SALE items, and Nordstrom dropped tons of prices just yesterday (so you know I had to make another sale collage).
I own and love the #1 exposed seam sweater (comes in tons of colors) and the boatneck sweater in both neutral and red. They are both closet staples for me! (The #1 sweater is a more relaxed fit and a bit warmer. The #3 sweater can be dressed up or down, but it’s on the thinner side and it’s a bit more fitted, so it leans a little dressier. I wear a small in both, so I think they both run a bit large. The #8 mascara primer is a product that I’ve sworn by for years now! This set would make a great gift.
My friend Kasey grabbed the Tory Burch boots last time I posted them and loves them. Says they are very comfy for a bootie (even with all day wear she was ok), and she said she got tons of compliments on them. They’re very chic.
And I just ordered the #9 Zella quilted packable jacket for myself. I tried it on in store last week and loved it, but I didn’t get it for some reason. This sale was just the push I needed. 🙂 I would suggest sizing down. The small was plenty roomy on me. This would be a great gift.
OH! And I ordered the #15 tipped crewneck sweater (in navy tipped with pink) for myself earlier this week, and I tried it on this morning AND LOVE IT. Size down for sure. I got the small and it’s still quite roomy, but I like it that way! This would be a great gift too!

Y’all! My new crop bootcut jeans THAT I’M IN LOVE WITH were added to the sale too! I can’t believe it! They were on October’s Top 12 list, and they were easily my most worn piece of clothing in October (and so far in November).
They’re a very soft denim with great stretch, so they hug your curves in all the right places. The seams on each side of the bottom of each leg are my favorite part. It’s such a nice detail, and they really modernize the whole look. For size reference, I’m wearing a 4.

And although the booties aren’t on sale, I highly recommend them. They are a beautiful neutral (these are the “light neutral”), and I’m happy to have them in suede, but they do come in some leather options too. They have a sleek look, clean lines, a square toe, and a tapered block heel. I love them so much. Comfy and true to size.

FRIENDS. I’m always drawn to fair isle sweaters. WELL. This one is EXTRA DARLING. The colors! The pattern! The fit! The soft feel! I love it all! And I’m totally swooning over how bright and happy it is.
And listen, it’s not on sale, but it might as well be because it’s under $30. And the quality is EXCELLENT.
It’s definitely more on the fitted side, which I’m not normally a fan of in a sweater, but I actually love this fit. Pay special attention to the ribbed crew neck, the ribbed wide hem, and the oversized ribbed cuffs. They all come together to make the sweater quite flattering. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium. It’s size inclusive ranging from size xs to 4x.

This boat neck sweater surprised me in all the best ways. I love it so much that I own it in this “coral punch” and in the “heather oatmeal”. Although called “coral punch”, I would definitely describe this sweater as red (and not coral), which is great because I love red.
The scallops on the neckline are beautiful, and the detail all the way down the top of the sleeves is really lovely.
It’s very lightweight and can easily be dressed up or down. I mean, I’d wear it with jeans and sneakers, but I could also wear it with a nice pair of pants and heels. It tucks in nicely, but the banded hem is very flattering and looks great worn out too. For size reference, I’m wearing a small here. I do think it runs on the large side, so I would size down if between sizes.

This cable sweater is ON SALE NOW too! It’s simple, classic, and a perfect basic. Online it’s called “sky gray”, a reviewer said she thought of it as more of a light green, but to be honest I would describe it as a light grey blue. WHATEVER COLOR IT IS, it’s pretty!
It’s 100% cotton, a medium weight, and has a bit of stretch. I would say it’s more fitted than boxy. If it came in cream, I would definitely be grabbing it in cream too. It’s a beautiful sweater. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

I’m in love with the Tate sweater. I love the diagonal stripes, I’m completely smitten with the color combo, and I actually really like the semi cropped fit. It’s VERY soft. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

These Aliyah jeans are fabulous, and at full price they are only $68. (So if you find something else and do the BOGO thing with these, they will only be like $34! They are stretchy, comfy, flattering as all get out, and what I consider to be a perfect straight leg option. I know that wide leg jeans and barrel jeans are all the rage right now, but I have to say, I still find a nice straight leg jean to be the most figure flattering by far. These are a mid to high rise with a frayed hem. I like the length with these booties, but since they are already a frayed hem I might actually cut a bit of length off so they will show a little ankle on me when wearing sneakers or flats. For size reference, I’m wearing a 27 (but they do have quite a bit of stretch, so I could probably do a 26). If between sizes, I would suggest sizing down.
This top is totally charming. It has a cream background which means it’s appropriate all year long, but the colors in the small floral pattern actually make it great for fall. The top has puff sleeves, but they are more understated than a lot of the puff sleeve tops out there right now. It also comes in olive.
The banded collar features a ruffle with tons of tiny little pleats and the covered buttons are lovely. This top is feminine and adorable. The split neck is deep (but not too deep) and very flattering. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium. If you have a large chest, you might consider sizing up. This top is actually on the shorter side (see the online picture), but since I’m short waisted, I’m still able to do a half tuck with it.

I pulled it out of the box and immediately knew I was going to like it. But then I put it on and OH MY WORD. I walked into Chris’s office and started jabbering about how great it was. He was all, “Is this going to be a new MUST HAVE?” 😉 Haha! I love it that he knows the lingo.
Now listen… it’s simple (so pretty timeless), it’s stretchy (so it’s comfy), it’s versatile, it’s flattering, and you will reach for it all the time. These are all things that must have pieces need to be, so it has a real good chance of claiming MUST HAVE status. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
Truly, this jacket is a perfect layering piece that you will be so happy to have in your closet.
And listen… I know it’s not a flashy piece, BUT I’M TELLING YOU THAT YOU WILL LOVE IT. You’re going to need to trust me on this one. #mkaythanks

If you want a dramatic look, this could be the top for you.
First of all, the color is vibrant! It’s a really gorgeous deep red. The embroidered flowers are oversized and placed on the shoulders and puffy sleeves, and both the sleeves and the embroidery make quite the statement. This top would also look great with boot cut jeans. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

I’m also thrilled to announce that they brought back the adorable denim jacket I showed earlier this year (that is an Avara exclusive).
I’m IN LOVE with this denim jacket. I’m wearing a medium here, but I think the large might be better on me. It has little to no stretch in it, so I need some extra room in the chest and back. It’s the puff and pleated sleeves that I’m completely smitten with. This jacket is absolutely adorable and perfectly feminine. Y’all know I think a denim jacket is a MUST HAVE, and I love the extra details on this one.

A festive tweed jacket? YES, PLEASE! I’m in love with this. It’s just so so fabulous. Black, cranberry red, and light pink all come together for the cutest plaid pattern you’ve ever seen. And did I mention TWEED? For size reference, I’m wearing a medium. If between sizes, I think you can size down.
These washed black boot cut jeans are new (to me at least), and I think they’re great. Y’all know I’ve been a lover of the Wit and Wisdom bootcut jeans for years and years, so grabbing this washed black pair was pretty much a no brainer for me. I like how they’re not shiny black like some black denim is, and they have a bit of a “lived in” look in person. They are insanely flattering and comfy (with the stretch), which is the perfect combination. They do have the brand’s Contour Shape Technology, which makes for a smooth and tailor made fit! For size reference, I’m wearing my regular size 4.

If you want a pair of new denim that leans dressy and is CRAZY flattering, I gotchu. These dark wash flare jeans are soft, comfy, stretchy, and super slimming. Definitely size down 1 size because they for sure run big.

This CHEERS sweater is so totally festive and modern, but somehow a great basic too! It’s a beautiful Christmas red and says “cheers” in a cheerful pink. I like the subtle puff sleeves and the fact that it isn’t super fitted. It is quite long, and since it’s roomy, I would recommend sizing down if between sizes. I’m wearing a medium, but I feel like a small would be better.
I’m wearing the same jeans I’m wearing above, but I think you get a better look here at how they both slim and elongate my legs. I mean, my torso is non-existent, but don’t I look taller than 5’3″ 3/4? 😉
