It’s Friday, so y’all know what that means! It’s time to link up with Erika, Andrea, and Narci to let everybody know what some of my favorite things are right now!

THE DISCOVERY KIT FLASH SALE
If you’ve been reading this blog for more than a couple of weeks, you know HOW MUCH I LOVE and HOW MUCH I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Colleen Rothschild skincare products.
I have used her products for over 3 years now and am absolutely devoted to them. And now my mom uses them, my sister uses them, my sister in law uses them, and tons of friends use them. THE PRODUCTS ARE FANTASTIC. They feel incredibly luxurious AND they deliver results.
AND RIGHT NOW THE DISCOVERY KIT IS ON FLASH SALE! This only happens a couple of times a year, so take advantage. This kit is worth $130, and they typically offer it for $95. BUT RIGHT NOW IT’S ONLY $69!!! WOW.
If you already love Colleen Rothschild products, the Discovery Kit is a must for when you travel.
Or maybe you’ve never tried CR products. If you’ve wanted to try some things, but haven’t known where to start, this Discovery Kit is a great option for you as well. It contains many of their most popular products and would be a great way to give them all a try!
This 7 piece kit includes the following (+ the carrying case):
- Radiant Cleansing Balm – You put it on your dry face (with dry hands), rub it all over, and it melts all your make up (including your eye make up) right off. I don’t even dread washing my face! When my skin is especially dry, I will rub just a little bit on in the morning to get it nice and hydrated. I’ll leave it on for about 10 minutes and then either wipe it or wash it off….or sometimes I even just let it soak in! It’s very gentle on my extremely sensitive skin, and I simply cannot live without it.
- Dual Enzyme Polish – This product is great for gently exfoliating your face. It sloughs off dead skin cells and will leave your face so soft and bright!
- Clarifying Detox Mask – I use this mask all over my face every couple of weeks for a deep clean, but I also love using it as a spot treatment if I see a blemish trying to pop up. It works wonders as a spot treatment!
- Sheer Renewal Cream – The cleansing balm is my holy grail product, but so many others claim that this sheer renewal cream is their tip top favorite. It provides weightless hydration. It’s not heavy at all and still allows your skin to breathe.
- Extreme Recovery Cream – Do you need some extreme moisture? This thick and creamy product is for you, and it absorbs very well and isn’t greasy! Use it at night and wake up with plump and hydrated skin.
- Face Oil N°9 – The face oil is too much for my skin, but my mom absolutely swears by it. She says her skin drinks it up and leaves it youthful and dewy.
- Muslin Cleansing Cloth – Made with 100% cotton, it provides a gentle way to exfoliate and enhance the overall cleansing experience.
Don’t miss this incredible deal! I’ll show you this today in stories, but it also comes with this handy dandy little instruction card so you know exactly when and how to use the products. Everything comes in the the quilted carrying case and it’s delivered in the box you see in the back. It’s a really great presentation, and would actually make a wonderful gift. If you already use and love Colleen products, this kit would be a great way for you to share you love for the products with your mom, your best friend, your sister, etc. You can give the gift of wonderful skin! It would make an excellent Mother’s Day gift.

MY FAVORITE SPRING NECKLACE IS BACK! AND I HAVE A CODE!
If you’ve been a loyal reader for years and years, you know that this has been my favorite Spring and Summer necklace for a very long time. AND IT’S BACK, BABY!
To celebrate it’s return, the code TASSEL20 will get you 20% OFF for this weekend.
It might be my 5th year in a row to wear it, but I will most definitely still be wearing it. It adds so much color and fun to an outfit, and I still adore it even all these years later.
And I can already tell you that this dress is going to be one of my GO TO warm weather outfits. I can dress it up with wedges, or I can dress it down even further with flip flops. I’m wearing a medium and really like the fit.
I’ll wear it with a great denim jacket in the Spring. This denim jacket is my current favorite, and it’s from Amazon! It’s got some give to it, it comes in 3 colors, and I like that it’s a bit longer than the KUT one I’ve been wearing for so long.

In the summer months, I’ll wear the dress without the jacket. You can see that the dress isn’t form fitting, but it’s not boxy either. It’s a great fit.

I absolutely love all the pieces in this outfit.

WHAT I BOUGHT THIS WEEK
I’ve never done this before, but I placed two orders on Wednesday that I’m very excited about receiving, so I thought I would go ahead and share some of the things that will be arriving at my door soon!
FROM LOFT
I grabbed this flutter tiered dress. It’s under $60 and so feminine and pretty! I’ll wear it with wedges to dress it up, and with flat sandals (and maybe even Converse) to dress it down.
I’m completely smitten with this bright tomato anorak. I hope I love it just as much once I get it! Such a bright and happy layer.
I’m trying these white jeans because they have fantastic reviews.
And I’m dying over these tie waist pants. I got them in the rustic gold.
FROM AMAZON
I’m pumped about this zip top pullover in coral. LOVE the collar.
I ordered 2 possible tees for St. Patrick’s Day: this Lucky Charms tee (so fun!) and this shamrock tee. I like that they both have a vintage feel. They are unisex tees, so keep that in mind for sizing.
I can’t remember whose ig I saw these big fluffy bow terry headbands on, but I was #influenced. They come in a 4 pack and I can’t wait to use them when washing my face and masking.
These $12.50 pajama shorts. I already have them in grey and love them so much. I’m sad when they are in the wash, so I grabbed the blush too.
FROM BARRINGTON
I fell in love with the new green lattice pattern, and I’m anxiously awaiting the everyday essentials pouch and a new makeup bag.

NEW FAVORITES FROM TRADER JOE’S
Like many of you, I have my tried and true favorites that I ALWAYS get from Trader Joe’s.
Earlier this week I had a little extra time between a couple of appointments, so I had great fun walking around and trying to find what might become new favorites.
These Everything But The Bagel Crackers are crispy and so flavorful! They are great by themselves, and they’d be great with hummus, but I also loved them with this new dip! The Avocado Tzaztziki Dip is out of this world! It’s cool and creamy with a little jalapeno kick. Both are definitely new favorites that will now be on my list every trip.
I feel like the whole world already loves the Everything But The Bagel Seasoning. If you’re anything like me, you put it on everything. And soon everybody will love the Everything But The Elote Seasoning. It’s a delicious blend of salt, chile pepper, cheese, chipotle, and cumin. So far I’ve eaten it on grilled corn and a sweet potato, but I’m excited to try it on other foods as well.
Next up, let’s talk about Trader Joe’s dried fruit. BECAUSE IT’S AMAZING.
I’ve loved the Dried Mango Slices for years and years, I pick up the Dried Cranberries on occasion (I love them on top of salads), but the Soft and Juicy Mandarins are a new find and ohhhhhhhhemmmmmmmmmgeeeeeeeee. They have a great chewy texture and pack so much flavor into the little slices! Thanks for the recommendation, Shay! These have sugar added to them (unlike the mangos that are literally just dried mango), and they pretty much taste like chewy candy. I’ll always get these now too.
And last but certainly not least…shrimp burgers! I love their chipotle lime chicken burgers and eat them when my family eats a real burger, but I loved the idea of trying these and eating it more as a protein for a meal rather than on a burger. This was my lunch yesterday. DELISH!
*********************************************************
A NEW FAVORITE MEAL
As seen above, I’ve been eating pretty dang healthy over here for a little over a month now, and I’m definitely seeing results!
The below meal is a new favorite for me. The “fettuccini” is made from zucchini AND IT IS DELICIOUS. (You find it in the freezer section.) I eat it with lots of roasted veggies (broccoli, tomatoes, and yellow and red peppers) and some tomato sauce. I love this meal so much and definitely look forward to eating it. If you wanted to add protein, it would be great with chicken, salmon, or shrimp! The pasta sauce is low in fat and calories as well, so it’s all incredibly healthy.

SALE ALERTS
I’m telling you again before the price goes back up, SOME OF MY FAVORITE SHOES EVER are NOW ON SALE! For the first time EVER! The leopard flats are comfy, true to size, and a wonderfully sassy neutral (which makes them very versatile). I love the pointy toe on these and think they are fresh and modern! And now that they are UNDER $60, you pretty much have to have them.
Click HERE if you want to see them styled several different ways.

Now let’s talk about the rest of the outfit.
This cardi is AWESOME. It’s definitely nice enough for the office, but this is also a cardi that I will wear with denim cut-offs. It’s super versatile.
It’s not heavy, and it has a nice relaxed fit. It’s seriously PERFECT for Spring and Summer. This official cardi color is “faded rosebud”, and it’s no surprise I love this one because I always gravitate towards light pinks and blushes. It would obviously be great with a regular tee underneath, but I also like it with this neutral cami.

And I love the bracelets.
And apparently I have a thing for blush cardigans. This one just went ON SALE!
It’s a heavier cable knit than the one above, great for Spring, but probably too heavy for Summer.
It’s 100% cotton, a great mid weight, and although it can definitely be worn open… I actually love it buttoned up. The tortoise buttons are large and add a lot of style.
For size reference, I’m wearing a medium so it wouldn’t be too cropped on me.
cardigan / white tee / basket weave tote / statement hoops /drusy heart necklace/ jeans /neutral booties ON SALE
And here it is styled just a bit differently. These leopard sneakers are so great for Spring.

SOME More Outfits
You’ve already seen this star sweater with boot cut jeans and denim cut offs, but I’ve been getting so much great feedback from readers whose sweaters have already arrived, so I thought I would style it one more time with these light wash skinny jeans.
It’s a little sheer, so it needs a cami. I love how it’s lightweight and perfectly slouchy.
star sweater / cami / turquoise earrings /bracelet / light wash ankle jeans / similar wedges from the same maker
AND Y’ALL. The jeans are so good.
They are…you guessed it…Wit and Wisdom.
And they have…you guessed it…Ab-Solution technology.
I’m 5’4′, wearing the regular 4s, and they still hit me at the ankle. They are a great wash and a non-distressed look for Spring and Summer. And check out the booty-lift construction.

You saw the jeans earlier this week in this outfit…
This slub cotton sweater comes in several colorways, but I was immediately drawn to the color combo of these stripes. And I love that it’s got a lot of texture to it (it has a bit of a handmade feel), but it’s still soft. I’m totally able to do a 1/2 tuck with it, and probably will, but I know that there are lots of you that prefer sweaters that look great without a 1/2 tuck. And this one does! I’m wearing the small and it’s a relaxed fit.

And I’ve got one more random outfit…
I don’t love the leggings (I think they are hard to match), but I do LOVE the tunic and the sneakers. The tunic tee has fantastic reviews and is obviously a great length for leggings.

That’s all, y’all! Have a wonderful weekend with your people, and I’ll see you back here on Monday!
Alison says
I know this may be outside your current wheelhouse, but would you (or your sister!) have a recommendation for a great pair of white maternity jeans? I practically live in the white Articles of Society ones that you recommend during the spring and summer, and I’m going to be lost without them this year! 🙂
Sheaffer says
I’ll ask her!
Amanda says
I bought the discovery kit two years ago, and it’s probably the best thing I’ve ever done for myself. I now use several things from her line, and my skin has never looked better!
Sheaffer says
Hi, Amanda! I love this. I hear this from readers all the time. The Discovery Kit is totally a gateway to the entire line! 🙂 xoxo
Amy Benningfield says
Hi Sheaffer! I might have missed it, but did you say what size you ordered in the star sweater? Thanks!
Sheaffer says
Hi, Amy! I’m wearing a medium for a slouchy fit! xoxo
Anne says
What LV bag do you carry…I so want to wear the cute straps and wasn’t sure if it was their Artsy. Thank you
Sheaffer says
Mine is called the Sully, but I think it’s discontinued. So sorry! 🙁 xoxo
Sandy Blitch says
You have me hooked on the Colleen R. products. I am a Senior, older than your Mom, but these products are so amazing! My skin is SO happy! I love her bath products also, they smell so fresh! And I must say, they have great specials pretty frequently! Thanks for making my skin feel great and look great!
Sheaffer says
So happy to hear this, Sandy! I am totally OBSESSED with the newest body products. They smell absolutely AMAZING! xoxo
Jamie Craig says
I love you blog! Your Colleen Rothschild news reminded me about your “Colleen Rothschild Told Me To” post. Did you do a follow up on that? I was particularly interested in how the vitamin C worked for you. I really trust your reviews!
Sheaffer says
Hi, Jamie! I feel like it really wakes up my skin and helps with texture and brightness. I still have dark spot issues, but I’m thinking I might need to do laser therapy or something similar to get rid of those. xoxo
Amy says
Continue to use vitamin C and retinol for the dark spots. I have sensitive skin and tried laser and it was very uncomfortable and didn’t help at all not to mention the expense. I have a great dermatologist that didn’t see the results he was expecting and told me to stick to the other products. With continual use my spots are fading.
Sheaffer says
Great tip, Amy. Thank you! I definitely need to be more consistent about using it, SO I WILL! xoxo
Joanne says
Shrimp burgers sound delicious.
Narci says
Those shrimp burgers look fantastic!!
Kate says
Hi sheaffer,
Can you please link the little Kendra necklace you are wearing with the blush cardigan? I can’t find it!
Thank you!!
Sheaffer says
Hi, Kate! It’s linked! Right above the blush cardigan picture it says “dainty necklace”. Click on that and it will take you right to it! xoxo
