It’s Friday, so y’all know what that means! It’s time to link up with Erika and Andrea to let everybody know what some of my favorite things are right now.

A NEW FAVORITE OUTFIT
If you’ve been following along for a while, then you know that this type of top is a long-time favorite of mine.
So no surprise here, I’M FULL BLOWN OBSESSED with this olive tassel tie top. It has a swingy fit that looks great with both a 1/2 tuck and worn out. It has subtle puff sleeves with an elastic band that reach almost to the elbow, and the colors and pattern on this one are totally unique with the navy, olive, cream, and rust color palette. Because of the seam near the chest, I need a medium for some extra room, but otherwise I think I would prefer the fit of the small.
I’ve been having so much fun styling and wearing my cream wide leg jeans that I knew I had to grab these olive wide leg jeans the second I saw them. These are incredibly comfy and have quite a bit more stretch than the cream ones, and the wide leg isn’t quite as wide. I actually like the fit of these better. And my goodness they are the perfect match for this top. For size reference, I’m wearing my regular size 4. I’ll style these pants with solid white, solid black, light pink, and stripes… and that’s just off the top of my head.

ANOTHER FAVORITE OUTFIT (AND SOME VIRAL SHORTS!)
Y’all. This ruffle sleeve top is so sooooooooooooo good. The double ruffle sleeves, the vibrant colors, the split neck, the overall fit… I LOVE IT ALL. And I know it looks like Tuckernuck or Anthro, but it’s not. And y’all are going to be blown away (in the best way possible) by the price tag. It comes in 6 total color options, and I like everything about it so much that I’m considering getting a 2nd color. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
Was it 2 or 3 years ago that the Agolde denim shorts first came on the scene? EVERYBODY was wearing them. I tried them, but I didn’t love them then. I don’t remember exactly why, I just didn’t love the way they fit my body. Well, I decided to give this year’s AGolde denim shorts a whirl and I’m a big ol’ fan. They aren’t tight at all, and they have a perfectly relaxed fit. The 4 1’2″ inseam makes them a great length on my frame. For size reference, I did size up to a 28 and I’m glad I did.

For those of y’all that have loved Risen jeans for years and years, this pair of white jeans is for you! Stretchy, flattering, and oh so comfy. For size reference, I’m wearing my regular size 27.

QUINCE FINDS
If you follow other influencers, I’m betting there’s a pretty good chance you’ve heard lots of them talking about the fantastic basics that you can grab at Quince (for super affordable prices)!
Even after hearing some of my favorite influencers talk about the brand, it was a reader reaching out that finally made me decide to place an order. So on a reader’s recommendation I finally ordered this cotton modal crewneck swing tee. It feels great, it’s a great price, and it’s a great weight… but I actually thought this particular tee was a little long for my liking (see how long it is on the site). Still, I loved everything else about it, so I’ve ordered this $15 boxy v-neck and this $19 slub crewneck tee instead because I do think I’m going to love the brand. They are both organic cotton, and I think one (or both of them) just might end up being my new favorite white tee.
These denim shorts aren’t from Quince, and y’all probably already know that because I’ve been wearing them for several years now. I call them my toddler shorts because they have an elastic back, although the front button and zipper are fully functioning. I already own them in the “rocky blue” and the “medium indigo wash”. This year they also come in olive, natural, light pink, and black. They are lightweight, comfy, and a perfectly relaxed fit. For size reference, the size medium is perfect on me.

When checking out Quince for the first time, this linen popover top immediately caught my eye. It comes in navy, french blue, and white too… but this faded blue pinstripe spoke to me. It has fantastic reviews (near perfect) and looks MUCH more expensive than it is. It’s 100% linen, lightweight, and totally classic. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
This necklace is FABULOUS. The colors are gorgeous, and I’m telling you it looks great with just about any outfit you try to put it with. FYI: I tried to find similar necklaces via Amazon when mine was sold out, but none of the options I ordered even came close to the beauty and quality of the original seen below. Sadly, the others looked and felt so cheap that I never ended up even highlighting them.
We all know wide leg jeans are very on trend, and these cream wide leg jeans are so good. They’re Kut from the Kloth (a denim brand we know and trust), and I really like the bit of stretch and the modern wide leg fit. I mean, they’re definitely wide leg, but they still manage to be flattering. For size reference, I’m wearing a 4.

I own two pairs of these jeans on the right. I started out with the darker wash and loved them so much that I bought them in this wash too (officially called “medium blue”). They look pretty short on the model, but they hit me just where I like them to (just showing a bit of ankle). I’m 5’4″ with long legs and no torso (to give you some reference). For size reference, I’m wearing my regular size 27.
I also want to order these linen shorts from Quince (in white) to go with this top. I think it will make a really great little set.

FAVORITE SHORT SLEEVE SWEATSHIRT IN A THIRD COLOR…
I already own it in a vibrant orange and the neutral stone AND I LOVE BOTH, so I couldn’t resist the stripe.
I will say though, I think the weight and the fit of this one is a tiny bit different. This one seems to be a bit lighter weight and a bit less structured. It still has the subtle puff sleeves with the banding on the sleeves and the hem, but it’s a bit of a looser fit. It’s still good, but for some reason I don’t love it as much as I do the solid colors I already own. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

COLORFUL SPRING SWEATERS
This striped sweater is fabulous. It’s 100% cotton, beautifully made, and a perfect lightweight sweater to have in your closet for spring. It’s pricey, but it really is fabulous. I’ll also wear it with denim shorts. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
I think it will be great thrown over my shoulders too with a basic crewneck tee.

I showed you this sweater a couple of weeks ago with both dark wash denim and cream wide leg denim… but how cute is it with these shorts too!
This sweater is lightweight, super soft, and DARLING. It’s 100% cotton, beautifully, and the colorful wavy stripes are so fun. It’s great with jeans, but it’s definitely nice enough to wear to the office with a pair of nice pants. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

As a reminder, here it is with darker denim and neutral mules…
These multicolor earrings have been a favorite and my most worn pair of earrings for months now! And they are NOW ON SALE for 60% OFF making them ONLY $14! They will be really perfect all spring and summer long.

SPRING BREAK AT THE RANCH
Carter had his last JV soccer game last Friday night, and we headed to the ranch bright and early Saturday morning.
We hung out with family when we were down there, but it was just us staying at the house, so things were super low key. It was nice to just be really chill.
We went on lots of walks with this guy.

And we got to enjoy some pretty great sunsets.

And we might have eaten from the crawfish truck in town on two different occasions. #worthit

SOME FAVORITES FROM THE MONTH SO FAR…
Charlie is always a favorite. And the stuffed Golden is his favorite.

This guy has been teaching himself guitar and listening to him start to strum some of his favorite songs is music to my ears. Pun very much intended. 😉

I meet my dad for lunch at Nordstrom every couple of months, and I love the 1:1 time we get to spend together. It’s a favorite for sure.

Has the Risen Jeans company gone out of business? I finally bought my first pair last year and now I can’t find them anymore.
