SOCCER SEASON
We’re half-way through soccer season, and Carter is playing the best he’s ever played. It’s been FREEZING at games, but we have had so much fun watching him do his thing.
A student at his high school started taking pictures at our home games, and I was so happy to see these shots that she got of him.

SOME SWEATERS
Y’all know I love a fair isle, and this one is really great and so well made! The color combo is unexpected, and I love the way the mustard, red, cream, and deep wine (almost brown) come together. It’s thick, warm and oh so cozy. I’m wearing a medium here and it’s a very oversized fit. I returned it for a small though, because I still think it will be a relaxed fit (just not quite as long and roomy).
It comes in two other color combos, and it has fantastic reviews.

We all know wide leg jeans are very on trend, and these cream wide leg jeans are so good. They’re Kut from the Kloth (a denim brand we know and trust), and I really like the stretch and overall fit. They’re definitely wide leg, but they still manage to be flattering. For size reference, I’m wearing a 4.

I’ve got another fair isle option for you. This one is a cardigan and a beautiful earthy green with a creamy white and black pattern. There’s also a light powder blue, brown, and white one that is adorable. Oh, and I also love the brown one with the blue and white accents.
It’s soft and warm, and I like wearing it all buttoned up like this, but it would also be great worn unbuttoned over a tee.

LOUNGE SET
A couple of weeks ago I showed you this outfit plan and told you that I had already ordered the denim jacket, the sweatshirt, and the sweatpants…

Everything I ordered came in, and I couldn’t wait to throw it all on.
The sweatshirt and trouser sweatpants are awesome. Textured on the outside, smooth on the inside, and perfect for lounging and/or running around town.
I know I’m going to love them, but I do think they are too big on me, so I’m going to size down in both.
Since I knew they were going to be oversized, I got a small in both the top and bottom, but I just know that the x-smalls are going to be even better and look less sloppy. I am absolutely loving the wide leg sweatpants.

And this Amazon denim jacket is super cute and affordable. It’s got a little bit of stretch, and I like that it’s not stiff or boxy. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

SOME MORE FESTIVE FASHION
Last Friday I showed a lot of festive Valentine’s Day looks, but I accidentally left off this cardi and the next sweatshirt. It’s a beautifully deep and festive red. It’s a chunky knit, so I wouldn’t describe it as soft, it’s more like a cardi with some structure. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
And THESE JEANS are so SO good.
They were recommended to me by my sister on Christmas Eve. She told me about them several days before I saw her, but then when I saw her on Christmas Eve, I knew I had to have them for myself because they looked so great on her. They look pretty short on the model, but they hit me just where I like them to (just showing a bit of ankle). I’m 5’4″ with long legs and no torso (to give you some reference).
They fit like a glove. But like a really comfy and stretchy glove that still has some structure to it.
I think these are super flattering, and I’m so glad I took a chance on this to new (to me) brand. Thanks for the suggestion, Conner! #connertoldmeto

This grommet heart sweatshirt is a fun and modern take on a festive Valentine’s Day look. It’s grey, so it’s not an in your face pink or red, but the heart grommets are a fun nod to the day of love. But you could of course wear this sweatshirt all season long. It does run a bit small (especially across the chest), so keep that in mind if ordering.

Y’all know that I love dressing in red and pink all year long, but I especially love doing it as Valentine’s Day approaches.
This v-neck cardigan is one of the best deals on Amazon. I can’t even tell you how many colors I own it in, but it’s probably not enough. IT’S AN AWESOME CARDI. It comes in a crew neck version too, but I prefer the v-neck. I like the fit of the medium.

Oversized quarter zip sweaters are all the rage right now. The Faherty version is $168, but this pullover sweater below is a great option and it’s just under $40 right now! It’s definitely long and roomy enough for leggings, but it looks great with jeans too. It comes in lots of colors, including a great Kelly green! For size reference, I’m wearing a small. I’d probably prefer a medium if wearing with leggings.

Let’s talk about these blingy heart hoop earrings that I’m wearing in some of today’s outfits. They’re adorable. And they look much more expensive than they are.
Seriously, look how pretty! I love that they’re gold, I love the super sparkly pave “diamonds”, and I love the size.
LIMITED TIME DEAL! This side zipper sweatshirt has excellent ratings and comes in tons of colors. It’s a nice medium weight, so I will be wearing it all the way into spring, and I love the zipper detail on the sides. So cute. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium and do think it runs a bit on the large size.

These blingy heart stud earrings are lovely and so sparkly. They come in this black box, perfect for gifting. And they are just under $13!
This dainty heart necklace is another great under $15 piece of jewelry. It has thousands of wonderful reviews.
And these bracelet stacks (PINK on left and RED on right) are right at $10 and bring all will bring all sorts of fun and whimsy to your outfits. They come in clear plastic boxes, which if you slapped a pink or red bow on them, would also be perfect for gifting.
I’m including this white button up because if accessorized appropriately, it can be totally festive for Valentine’s Day.
Everybody needs a great white button up….but I haven’t had one in my closet for years because I never felt like they fit me right. They were always too tight across the chest and pulled. WELL, THIS ONE DOESN’T PULL AT ALL! It’s 100% cotton and has thousands of 5-star reviews. It doesn’t have any give, but it still fit me great. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
I love the look of a crisp white shirt with a great pair of jeans. I think it’s classic and totally chic.

Love all the festive finds! Have you tried The Shirt by Rochelle Behrens? A lot of her button downs have a hidden placket (hidden buttons between the visible buttons) that keep the shirt from pulling. Lots of different cuts too! Happy Friday!
