RANCH PICS

We were at the ranch for New Year’s Eve with lots of friends, and we had such a great time!

However, I’m not sure if I have bad allergies now or if I’m trying to get sick. 🙁 It’s Thursday night, and I just showered, put on pajamas, and pumped myself full of vitamins. Best of luck to me. 😉

I’ll have more ranch pics to share later, but here are a couple for now…

The first night we had a pretty epic bonfire. We recently had some more land cleared, and there were lots of dead trees that were just what we needed to get the party started. As you can imagine, we can see thousands of stars while at the ranch, and several people downloaded an app called Stellarium that is so cool. You point your camera on your phone toward the sky, and Stellarium identifies and displays stars, constellations, planets, nebulae and other celestial objects. As you can see, everybody was totally into it!

On New Year’s Day, I managed to get a super cute pic of the boys when we were out on a walk. That’s Buddy loving on Charlie.

MY NEW TOY

I’m soooo annoyed with myself for not taking before and after pictures, but you have to trust me that this cordless spin mop is FREAKING INCREDIBLE.

You can see I purchased it back in October, but I used it for the first time this week.

I was hopeful because it has EXCELLENT reviews.

Y’ALL. The tile in the laundry room at the ranch house was absolutely filthy because that’s where the dogs eat. And since the ranch got 4 inches of rain before we got there, the dogs were also tracking in some of the red clay dirt/mud that surrounds the house. Well, the mop took care of it.

My tile floors look brand new, and this mop was sooooooooooo easy to use. You put a solution/water mixture in the little reservoir (the solution smells so fresh and clean!) and get to work. The machine just glides across the floor. After several uses, I’ll throw the pads on the bottom of the machine into the laundry and then reattach them after they’re all clean.

I’m telling you, minimum effort with maximum results. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

3 GREAT BASICS

This camel cardigan is a wonderful basic. And my goodness is it chic. I love it worn casually here with denim, but it’s definitely nice enough to dress up and wear to the office. It’s soft, lightweight, and obviously a longer length. It comes in lots of color choices, and I’m guessing that many of you will end up with more than 1 color after you receive your first one. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.

I’m showing you the famous batwing sweater again, only because I’m wearing it AGAIN.  This sweater has over 20,000 5-STAR ratings!!! It’s so soft, so cozy, and so easy to wear that I reach for it constantly.

And just because, I want to talk about my very favorite pave huggie earrings again. These are in my Top 5 favorite Amazon finds OF ALL TIMES.

I mean, I’m not a diamond expert, but I think these babies look real and they are just under $16! I wear these alllllllll the time. I sleep in them, I talk on the phone with them, and I LOVE them. In fact, I love them so much it was my gift of choice for all my friends one year at our favorite things party!

FEBRUARY FASHION

Y’all know that I love dressing in red and pink all year long, but I especially love doing it as Valentine’s Day approaches.

This v-neck cardigan is one of the best deals on Amazon. I can’t even tell you how many colors I own it in, but it’s probably not enough. IT’S AN AWESOME CARDI. It comes in a crew neck version too, but I prefer the v-neck. I like the fit of the medium.

Oversized quarter zip sweaters are all the rage right now. The Faherty version is $168, but this pullover sweater below is a great option and it’s just under $40 right now! It’s definitely long and roomy enough for leggings, but it looks great with jeans too. It comes in lots of colors, including a great Kelly green! For size reference, I’m wearing a small. I’d probably prefer a medium if wearing with leggings.

Let’s talk about these blingy heart hoop earrings that I’m wearing in some of today’s outfits. They’re adorable. And they look much more expensive than they are.

Seriously, look how pretty! I love that they’re gold, I love the super sparkly pave “diamonds”, and I love the size.

LIMITED TIME DEAL! This side zipper sweatshirt has excellent ratings and comes in tons of colors. It’s a nice medium weight, so I will be wearing it all the way into spring, and I love the zipper detail on the sides. So cute. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium and do think it runs a bit on the large size.

And now for some more festive jewelry…

These blingy heart stud earrings are lovely and so sparkly. They come in this black box, perfect for gifting. And they are just under $13!

This dainty heart necklace is another great under $15 piece of jewelry. It has thousands of wonderful reviews.

And these bracelet stacks (PINK on left and RED on right) are right at $10 and bring all will bring all sorts of fun and whimsy to your outfits. They come in clear plastic boxes, which if you slapped a pink or red bow on them, would also be perfect for gifting.

I’m including this white button up because if accessorized appropriately, it can be totally festive for Valentine’s Day.

Everybody needs a great white button up….but I haven’t had one in my closet for years because I never felt like they fit me right. They were always too tight across the chest and pulled. WELL, THIS ONE DOESN’T PULL AT ALL! It’s 100% cotton and has thousands of 5-star reviews. It doesn’t have any give, but it still fit me great. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

I love the look of a crisp white shirt with a great pair of jeans. I think it’s classic and totally chic.

Here’s a close up of a bracelet stack that I got a couple of years ago, and I still wear all the time. My stack was a 3-bracelet stack that is now sold out, but there’s a 4-bracelet stack that is still available!

I love the color combo and the cute pattern on this fair isle sweater. It’s a totally classic design, but I feel like the color combo is a bit unexpected. It looks great with regular denim, but it will look great with black denim as well. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.

Check out these fun pajamas! They are buttery soft and have over 9,000 5 STAR REVIEWS! I’m wearing a small, and they still have a little bit of room, so I would say they run a tad big. I fell in love with the pink tie dye, but there are tons of color options available, and not all of them are tie dye.

This is the the earring holder I got for my mom (#3 in the collage above). She absolutely LOVES it and now wonders what in the heck she ever did before having it. It holds 50 pairs of earrings, y’all! She doesn’t have a place for it in her closet, so she keeps it on her bathroom counter.
