SOCIAL THREADS MINI HAUL

I have several pieces from Social Threads that I’m super excited to share with y’all today!

This blouse is made for fall, and I think it’s a perfect shirt for Thanksgiving day! The bodice is a textured fabric with great stretch, and the sleeves are a beautiful floral pattern. They’re a bit sheer, but they aren’t totally see thru. The drapey pleats up top and the wide cuffs on the sleeves make this blouse extra special. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium. I think it looks great with distressed denim, but it could easily be dressed up with a nice pair of pants. It would also look awesome with black denim.

The jeans I’m wearing aren’t from Social Threads, but I know I’m going to get questions about them, so I’m going to go ahead and talk about them! They are the most expensive jeans I’ve ever owned, and I’m IN LOVE. I’ve heard tons of influencers sing the praises of Mother Jeans for a while now, and I finally took the plunge. It helped that I had credit on Amazon, and that’s where I found them! They’ve got stretch in them, but they still have structure. They hold their shape, and they make me feel great. For size reference, I’m wearing the 27.

This button front fleece jacket is ohhhhhhhhh sooooooo cozy. It features a snap closure front, zip pockets, a stand-up collar, and a somewhat boxy silhouette. It’s incredibly soft and a great layering piece. If you have a long torso, I’m not sure it will work for you, but I love the fit. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.

This smocked waist dress is a vibrant purple floral. It has a high neck, gathered sleeves, a smocked waist, and a tiered skirt. I realized I was running late fora a lunch date right before I put this on, so I didn’t have time to style it. I think it could go several ways…with black heels, with some point toe leather booties, or even with some black over-the-knee boots. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

SHOPPING WITH SHEAFFER

I’ve got a mini Shopping with Sheaffer for y’all today. I have a handful of items to feature from Nordstrom, Amazon, Walmart, and Kohl’s. I’m sharing what I think is the best of the best right now from some of my favorite retailers.

This pom pom sweater is whimsical and oh so festive. It comes in black too, and this is a sweater that could be dressed up or down. I think it’s so much fun. It’s really soft, and the colorful pom poms make me smile. Luckily, none of them are placed awkwardly ifyouknowhatimean. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

This chunky v neck sweater is a modern take on a classic v-neck, and I love it. The wide banded neckline, the exaggerated ribbing, the chunky knit, and the blouson sleeves are all great. It’s on the shorter side, but it’s not cropped enough that you have to show you belly BECAUSE NO M’AM. It runs big, so I would recommend sizing down 1 or even 2 sizes. I’m wearing the x-small.

I’ve highlighted these booties before, but I’m going to highlight them again, BECAUSE THEY ARE WORTH IT.

All of my booties from last year are suede, so I was excited to add a leather pair to my closet. (It’s always great to have a leather option for rainy days, plus I just love how the leather looks so polished.) They come in bone and black as well, but I knew I would get the most wear (and bang for my buck) out of this beautiful cognac color. I’ve found that cognac looks great with regular denim (all color washes), with black denim, with white denim, and with gray denim. #cognacforthewin These have a 3-inch block heel, a pointy toe, and a bit of a western vibe. For size reference, I sized up a 1/2 in these.

These booties come up higher over my ankle than any of my other booties. And as you can see, these jeans fall over the top of the booties. I think it’s a fun look.

This classic cardigan is an awesome Amazon find! I can of course wear it open over a tee like a cardigan is most often worn, but I think it looks great all buttoned up like this! It’s simple, but also classic, and at the same time a little bit sassy?!? I’m not sure if that makes sense or not, but I really love it. It’s very soft, it has excellent reviews, and it comes in 5 other colors. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

Y’all know that Kelly green is one of my favorite colors, and this sweater is a perfect (and highly sought after) Kelly green! It’s a thick cable knit, has a slightly relaxed fit, and it’s very soft. I like it with a 1/2 tuck, but I like it worn out too. For size reference, I’m wearing a small. You’ll be seeing this again on Monday. I have a Kohl’s post where I’m highlighting bright and colorful favorites for fall!

How about a DARLING sweater for UNDER $15? I’m not even kidding, this sweater is FOURTEEN DOLLARS AND CHANGE. It’s crazy soft, and these pink stripes are vibrant and fun. There are some solid options, but there’s also a blue/green/purple strip option that is adorable! I’m wearing a medium here, but I think I might prefer the fit of a small.

Okay, ladies.

This Fair Isle sweater is beautifully made and such a classic look.

I think it gives off total J Crew vibes, but it’s from Walmart! And it’s ONLY $35!

It’s thick and quite warm. It says it has a bit of wool in it, but I don’t find it to be itchy at all (and usually even the tiniest bit of wool bothers me). I think this looks like a $150 sweater. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.

And how about a dress version? Are you dying? Because I’m dying.

This Fair Isle sweater mini dress is FABULOUS. I think the fit is soooo good, and once again, I think it looks much more expensive than it is. I love it with my tall boots, and I’m totally swooning over the woven bag I picked up on Amazon!

Look at this bag! It comes in 5 basic colors, but it’s showing that there’s only 15 left in this classic brown color. I love the look of it, but when I ordered it, I was afraid it was going to be stiff and plastic like. It’s not at all! It’s soft and very flexible. The handle fits comfortably over my shoulder, it has a magnetic closure, and it definitely looks more expensive than it is. I’ve carried it twice already, and I received compliments both times!

SOME FAVORITE WALMART SWEATERS

I’m about to show you some sweaters (most you’ve seen before), but today you’re going to see them in mirror selfies! I know some of you prefer to see items this way.

This crewneck sweater is super soft and a touch thick, so it will keep you warm. And the colors are beautiful in this one! I love how it combines blush, magenta, and orange! I think it’s an unexpected color combination that is absolutely gorgeous. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

This adorable sweatshirt has cool colors, a fun graphic pattern, and pleated puff sleaves. What’s not to love? It also comes in a fun black sweatshirt with organic dots! For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

If you prefer a slouchy fit, you’ll love this ribbed pullover. It’s soft and lightweight with an oversized sleeve and drop shoulder. This hot pink spoke to me, but it also comes in black and gray. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium, but I think I would prefer the fit of the small.

How about an adorable and brightly colored puffer for just $24! This is the “dark raspberry”, but it comes in 15 colors, so there’s something for everybody. I actually love the “mocha splash colorblock” option and think it’s super cute and a fun retro vibe. And the “neutral gingham check” looks designer! For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

VETERAN’S DAY

Before ending today’s post, I want to thank all of our Veterans for their bravery and their service to our country! Thank you for the sacrifices you have made for our freedoms.
