Happy Wednesday, everybody! I cannot believe that tomorrow is Thanksgiving. Another year is about to pass, and I can’t believe Christmas is right around the corner! Today’s post is all over the place, but I’m excited to share lots of current favorite things with you (and some of them make great gifts).
Lots of items in today’s post are NEW TO SALE! And these aren’t just random sale items, I’m talking SHEAFFER TOLD ME TO ABSOLUTE FAVORITE sale items. I’m not messing around with today’s post, y’all. We’re talking blardigans and slim profile UGGs ON SALE! If you follow me on social media, I’ve been putting items up there as I find them. If you only follow the blog, GET READY FOR SOME INCREDIBLE SALES!
The original blardigan is on sale in 3 colors! X-small/small is already sold out in 2/3 colors, so there’s not much time left y’all if that’s the size you need. This blardigan is still a favorite for me, because I love how you can totally and completely wrap up in it. You know I have all blardigan styles, but this one is is the one I reach for the most to just wear around the house. The cut just makes cuddling up so dang easy!
These next items aren’t on sale, but the moment I saw them I knew they would both make incredible and affordable Christmas gifts (for yourself and/or for loved ones). I ordered both (and already received and love both), but I just haven’t grabbed pics yet. Pics of both to follow next week.

Are you ready for some SERIOUS SALES? Some Nordstrom items rolled out yesterday at 60% OFF for what them seem to be calling THE SCORE. Now, there’s a lot at 60% off that’s 60% OFF for a reason (if you know what I mean)….but there’s also a lot of items that really got me excited! Like this cream colored cardi, these 1901 tassel flats (the red is so striking!), and this gorgeous Chan Luu tassel necklace. And at 60% OFF, these blingy hoops from Bauble Bar are UNDER $20! Click HERE to scroll through all of the items!
Also 60% OFF…This top from last year that I still wear. A lot.
Last year I didn’t purchase it until cooler weather had already arrived, so I was wearing it with jeans and boots a lot. I think this was the first time I’d ever paired it with shorts.
For size reference, size down for sure! I’m wearing an x-small (it says it’s for 0-2, and I’m not a 0-2), and it’s still over sized. You definitely need to wear a cami, tank, or bralette under it. This
When Kut from the Kloth reached out to see if I wanted to try some of their stretchy cords, it reminded me that I already had a khaki pair that I loved from a couple of years ago, and so many of y’all love them too. They have over 800 reviews, and the average rating is 4 1/2 stars!!! AMAZING!
Well, I saw this crimson color (officially called “merlot” on the site) and just had to try them. At almost 5’4″, I have found that the petite sizing works best for me. The regulars are several inches too long on me, but that’s great news for you taller ladies! They are mid rise, a relaxed fit, super soft, and extremely comfortable for all day wear. And I love that they have a great amount of stretch, but they don’t sag. If you hop over to instagram stories today, I recorded some thoughts about them while wearing the black ones. Head over there to see them in action!
These cords are such a great alternative to jeans. For all of you that work in a school or office environment that can’t wear jeans, you have got to try these!
And just in case you need a reminder, I first started talking about the Kut from the Kloth brand 5 years ago! A stonewashed Kut from the Kloth denim jacket was the first MUST HAVE I ever named on the blog, and I still wear it all the time! A couple of months I also added this wash to my closet and totally love it too. So, my love for the brand runs deep.
I absolutely love the vibrant color, but remember, they do come in other colors if you don’t want to go so bold. Grey, light tan, black, cognac, and a muted olive would all be great choices for the cords. And I’m telling you, they fit like a dang glove. A huge thanks to Kut from the Kloth for sponsoring this portion of the post!

All right, let’s talk about the slim profile UGGs that are NOW ON SALE!!!! THEY ARE THE BEST. I mean that. Comfy for walking all day, warm as can be, and waterproof! They come in cognac, black, and grey…and I don’t think you could go wrong with any of the color choices. They are cut slimmer than the original UGGs, and they have a tiny little wedge heel.
To own these boots is to love these boots. SERIOUSLY. They’re amazing.
If you don’t have them for yourself yet, I highly recommend them. I also think they make wonderful gifts.
I wore them all over New York (it was cold and rainy) on Day 3 of our Girl’s Trip. Click HERE to see the NY recap if you missed it. They are true to size for me.
Speaking of UGG, I’m a huge fan of their slippers. And these are are on sale!
My camo jacket that I’ve been wearing for several months now is NOW ON SALE for 50% OFF! I’m wearing a small and it’s still a very relaxed fit. If you aren’t in to the camo, it comes in a solid military green as well.
This blouse is ON SALE and much more special in person than it appears in pictures. It has a swingy fit, blouson sleeves, it ties at the neck in the back, and the pleats on the front are gorgeous. The bodice of the blouse is lined, but the sleeves are sheer, which is so pretty! For size reference, I’m wearing a small, and there’s plenty of room. I’ll wear this more casually too, but it will dress up very easily for Broadway!
This boucle tunic sweater is very flattering with the side seams and comes in several colors. And it’s NOW ON SALE for 50% OFF! Again, I’m wearing a medium petite here because that’s what they had in store, but I would prefer a regular small, or maybe even a regular medium if I was going to wear it with leggings. It comes in 6 colors.
This Free People sweater has excellent reviews, comes in 5 colors, and is NOW ON SALE! I’m wearing an x-small here, so you can see how large it runs. If you go with your normal size, it should definitely be long enough to wear with leggings. It’s expensive, but seems to have a bit of a cult following.
With the Gibson launch last week and Thanksgiving this week, I’ve been filled with gratitude (and I’ve maybe even been a little sappy…okay a lot sappy) over here.
And then I got this e-mail over the weekend: At this time of Thanksgiving, I wanted to take a minute to say…I’m thankful for you and your blog/Instagram/Facebook! I think most everything in my closet was purchased from your adorable outfit posts over the past year! I hope you know you make a difference in many women’s lives by helping us put together adorable outfits! The sizing is always spot on (we are the same size and height so it makes it easy when you give sizing references!) and it is such a time saver to know that when I order it, I’ll know it’ll fit. I love that there are classic pieces and trends. And being 45, I know my outfits don’t look like I’m “trying too hard” but still keeping up with fashion. So THANK YOU for what you do. It has helped my self esteem tremendously! -Julie
I immediately wrote Julie back thanking her for her kind words, but I wanted to tell y’all that what Julie said puts into words what I hope that I’m doing for all of you! It is my hope that I’m making shopping easy AND that I’m giving you confidence as you walk out the door!!! Thank you again, Julie!
Speaking of the Gibson Glam launch…over the last week, I’ve been getting a lot of feedback from both friends and readers on The Sheaffer top. Those of you that have long torsos are finding that the top is too short for you, which is obviously such a bummer! Those of you that have regular or short torsos are absolutely loving the shirt! This is exactly what I’m seeing on the reviews on the site too! People either LOVE IT or they WANT to love it (but it’s too short).
I’ve heard from a lot of you that are pleasantly surprised that the top can be dressed down so easily! Most of you were planning on just wearing it dressy for parties, but everybody is finding that you can pair it with jeans and boots just as easily!
Check this out…Here’s a reader that sent me a picture of herself in the top. HOW DARLING IS Marcie!!!! And I love how she’s wearing The Sheaffer top casually with jeans and boots! And she got my pink and red earrings too!
Now, let me tell you a little something about Marcie….
Marcie’s family owns a chip and dip company called Leal’s. Click HERE for a list of grocery stores of where you can buy the products, but know that you can buy the salsas online as well. We tried the salsa, the chips, and the queso. We loved all of the products, but we are flat out obsessed with the seasoned chips and the queso. I will definitely be picking up a new bag and a new jar every couple of weeks at Market Street. We seriously couldn’t believe how good they are. DELICIOUS! Thank you Marcie for introducing me to your family’s products, and thanks for looking so adorable in the top.
Let’s keep talking about the Gibson line for another minute! I love seeing my friends wearing The Sheaffer top out and about! That’s Mallory on the left at a Maverick’s game, and that’s Cassie on the right on a date night! The top really does do a great job of dressing up or down, depending on what you need! If you want to see it dressed up, click HERE to see how I styled the cranberry one with black velvet pants and mesh dot heels.
And now that we’re talking about the collection, I wanted to show you a piece that I haven’t shared yet! This Plisse wrapped top has mixed reviews, but I happen to love it! As is consistent with most pieces in the collection, I personally think it ran a bit small, so I sized up to a medium. Such a fun look!

Did y’all see my GAP, Old Navy, Banana Republic, Athleta post on Monday? I LOVED CREATING THAT POST, and I was so excited to share all of the bright and happy finds with y’all! I also had a blast shooting it with Carter.
The post has so many bright sweaters and scarves in it, and I also included a gift guide with almost everything included ON SALE. Click HERE to see all the sweater/scarf combos and get a peak at my new favorite pjs!
I’ve already worn the sweater again, but without the scarf, and I added a leopard belt and switched out the sneakers for booties! It comes in several colors.
I mentioned this in yesterday’s post, but the Macy’s Sale goes live today! Click HERE to look around!
I shared my Brandless favorites in September, and then in October we decided to partner up together for me to share my favorites for 3 months! It’s been fun trying so many new things, and now it’s time for me to share my November favorites! 3 months in, and I’ve continued to have some of the same faves month after month. Like the dried mangoes, the white cheddar popcorn, the sweet and salty trail mix, and the corn and black bean salsa. I also wanted to share a picture of one of my new favorites (the nuts, dark chocolate, and cherry trail mix), but I’d already eaten it all when it was time to take pics for the post. #oops. Another new favorite this month are the sea salt pita crisps. Crunchy, perfectly seasoned, and perfect to dip in hummus!
Y’all. Their snack foods are just soooooooo tasty, and I love that they are “better for you” products. To learn all about Brandless, their mission, and their products – head to my original post.
Here are 2 of my new favorites that I found this month, with an old favorite. I tried the chocolate chip cookies and the cinnamon twists thanks to reader recommendations, and OMG y’all were right. SO FREAKING GOOD. The chocolate chip cookie thins are thin (duh), crispy, and perfectly chocolaty. The cinnamon twists are out of this world. Crispy on the outside and a chewy and flaky combo on the inside. If I drank coffee, I’m thinking they would be amazing with coffee. Head to my insastories today to see me talk about my thoughts on some of my new faves! Thank you Brandless for partnering with me and for making DELICIOUS and better for you food!
OTHER NEW TO SALE ITEMS YOU REALLY NEED TO KNOW ABOUT. THESE ARE ITEMS THAT I ALREADY OWN AND LOVE:
