Last week in McKinney, we got a quick little peak into cooler temps. And it was absolutely delightful. Like, I wore jeans and didn’t feel like I was going to spontaneously combust into flames. Which is always nice to avoid. 😉 So when Nordstrom reached out for me to talk about women’s wear this month, I knew I was going to want to talk about EARLY FALL outfits!
Today I’m going to show you two of the outfits I wore during our little temperature dip. I’m also going to show you the flats lays I put together. #becauseimablogger #andthisiswhatbloggersdo

I was instantly drawn to the color of this tee when I saw it online. I thought the color was very fall (it comes in olive and black too) and that the little detail on the shoulders was so unique and cute – and just a tiny bit sassy!
I put together a look with the tee that I know I will be wearing over and over. It’s a simple jeans, tee, and ankle booties combo….but kicked up a notch with with my new favorite necklace and leopard belt (almost sold out).
AND Y’ALL!!!!!! ALERT THE PRESS! MY BOOTIES HAVE BEEN RESTOCKED!!!!!!
I absolutely love and adore them (and so many of you that managed to grab them before they sold out do too)! And I’m afraid that they are going to sell out again…so if you want them, hurry! 🙂
And like I said, it’s been cool enough this week that I was actually able to wear this fall outfit out of the house! SCORE!
The tee is soft, comfy, and plenty long for those of you tall girls or those with long torsos. I got a small, and the fit is loose, but not boxy at all! I’m doing a 1/2 tuck here, and I love the way the tee fits!

UPDATE: Sadly, my necklace is now sold out! But I found THIS one as a great alternative! I love the beads and the shape of the turquoise pendant at the bottom!
And here’s another great early fall outfit!
The dress in this outfit is sleeveless, which makes it a great year round dress! It would be perfect in spring and summer with wedges and without the jacket! But it’s also perfect for fall with a cardigan or the MUST HAVE denim jacket and booties or boots (can’t wait to wear my over the knee ones!)! You could even pair it with THE MUST HAVE leggings as the temperatures drop even more.
Here I am before heading to church on Sunday morning. I’m wearing a small in the dress. However, if it wasn’t for my chest, I probably would have sized down to an x-small…but I needed the extra room in the chest. I would have preferred it less roomy in the hips, but I definitely liked it enough to keep it! It comes in a solid “ivory antique” as well! And it has pockets! I’m wearing a small in the jacket.

UPDATE….since my booties are almost sold out again, I wanted to remind you of these awesome options! They are fully stocked, have fantastic reviews, and are quite similar to mine. One with perforations (on left), one without (on right). I love the color of both and the fact that they both have a low heel. These are perfect for those of you that are either chasing toddlers or are on your feet a majority of the day! Nobody says you can’t be comfy and stylish!

Ok fashion emergency! Last year I cuffed my jeans just above the booties. This year on Pinterest I’m seeing some super skinny girls wear their skinny jeans tucked down into the short booties. Sheaffer, what are we doing this year?!?!?

I tried to search your posts & couldn’t find this – do you hand wash your must have, fave bras? I wasn’t sure if I could wash on delicate cycle in lingerie bag. I purchased 2 during the anniversary sale & finally wore them yesterday & today. I think they’ll be good, I wear a 36DD, so I don’t think any bras are comfortable, lol! I hope they’ll be a little more comfy as they stretch a little.

Do we wear super low cut socks with these, like the ones some people wear with flats? And if so, I don’t own any, so do you recommend any specific ones?
