Every so often Nordstrom asks me to talk about their jean selection. And since I wear a pair of jeans from Nordstrom just about every day of my life, it’s an easy thing to talk about! 🙂 If you don’t already know, let me tell you, the jean selection at Nordstrom is OUTSTANDING. Over the last several years, I have purchased jeans for as low as $30 something, and I have a couple of pairs that I reallllly splurged on that were between $100 – $200 (I got one of the pairs on super sale). They have something for every size, every shape, and every price point.
Today I’m going to talk specifically about their selection of WHITE JEANS, because I firmly believe that a great pair of white jeans is a MUST HAVE. They make outfits look FRESH and CRISP! And I promise you, you don’t need to be a size 2 to wear a pair of white jeans, you just need to find the right pair for you. And listen, I totally understand that white jeans are difficult to find, but I have several for you to choose from today. And luckily Nodstrom has free shipping and returns, so you can try them on in the privacy of you own home. Because white jean shopping is kind of like swimsuit shopping, am I right?!? 😉
WHITE JEANS #1: SKINNY FRAYED HEM ANKLE JEANS
We’re going to start with the designer pair, just in case you are a GO BIG OR GO HOME kind of white jeans shopper. 🙂
I splurged on these last month, and I’m so glad I did. My favorite jeans ever are from the same brand (still available HERE with the same cut, but a bit more distressing), so I’ve been wanting to try these for awhile now.
Here’s a close up of these white frayed hem ankle jeans. Are they expensive? Yes. Are they awesome? YES. The frayed hem makes them OH SO SPRING AND SUMMERY. And they have a really great amount of stretch to them, which makes them very comfortable. I think all jeans need a little stretch, but especially white jeans. These are true to size for me. At 5’4″, they hit me at the bottom of the ankle, but they could stand to be a little shorter (which is good news for you taller girls). They can be dressed up or down easily, which I love. As you can see here, they look great with heels, but they would look awesome with sneakers or converse as well!
Here they are in a great date night or girl’s night out look! Again, the jeans are true to size, and I sized up to a medium in the top. The 1 review of the top was not favorable at all, but I happen to love the top. The reviewer talked about the top being way too short, but at 5’4″, I didn’t find that to be a problem. Pairing this black top with the white jeans makes it GO OUT ready! And the snazzy clutch seals the deal.
I love the back of the top as well. #sassy

You could also dress the same top from above down a bit with slide on sandals and a more casual clutch or a cross body.

Here I am in the same jeans in an even more casual look (from last Friday’s post). I’m wearing a small in the top, so it’s true to size.
Now, if you are loving the idea of the frayed hem ankle jeans, but just can’t imagine spending that much on a pair of jeans, I’ve got a great option for you! You can click HERE for a more reasonably priced pair of white jeans with the same raw hem and ankle length. These are ONLY $64!!!
If you need more inspiration for outfits with white jeans, I’ve got you covered! Here’s a flat lay you saw on social media last week with the AG jeans. I would suggest sizing up in the tee one size, especially if you have a larger chest. The small was too small for me, so a medium is on it’s way.
The above clutch sold out a couple of weeks ago, but you can click HERE for the below clutch (which I featured in the black top and white jeans outfit above). It’s really large (13 x 9), the embroidered animals are colorful and so beautiful, and the pom pom tassel is so much fun. I challenge you to find a casual spring or summer outfit this clutch won’t look great with!
Other clutch options:
And yet another look with the AG white jeans (that you’ll see on me on the blog later this week).

I can’t believe I almost forget one of my favorite white jean outfits of all times that I find myself wearing over and over again (just styled a little bit differently): white jeans with a great chambray shirt. You can pretty much never go wrong with this classic look. I would also love this look with stud earrings and my favorite New Balance sneakers (and a lighter New Balance pair HERE) for a really casual look.

WHITE JEANS #2: DISTRESSED
Now I have a distressed jean option for you in white! This pair is much more reasonable at $79. They are a mid rise, and I love the cool vibe with the distressing. For a super casual look with these jeans, check out this BEACH SQUAD tee . I sized up to a medium in the tee. AND Y’ALL. I’m 100% OBSESSED with these sunglasses, and they are $12!

And here’s a close up of the white distressed jeans. Love. These were true to size for me, but if you are between sizes, I would definitely suggest sizing down. And, please…..I beg you….take a minute to check out these pom pom sandals. #festive
I’ve got a couple of looks for you with these jeans that you might have already seen before. They pair perfectly with the MUST HAVE denim jacket!
And here’s another outfit, with the same jeans. You’ve seen this cardigan before as well. Click HERE to remind yourself of the first look (with a neutral tote, dark denim, and nude flats) and to see the cardi blowing in the breeze! If you don’t love the blush color that I have (I happen to adore it), you have several others to choose from as well. The cardigan comes in regular and petite. I have the Petite Small. At just about 5’4″, I was afraid the regular size would be too long, and I was right. The petite hits above my knee, which is just how I wanted it. It’s very lightweight and it’s received 71 5 STAR reviews. Read some of the reviews if you are on the fence.
And I love the neutral on neutral look I showed you back in February, showing that white jeans aren’t just for spring and summer! Let this be proof that I wear (AND LOVE!) white jeans all year round. They are even FRESH and CRISP during the fall and winter!
WHITE JEANS #3: SKINNY ANKLE WITH AB-SOLUTION TECHNOLOGY
And our last pair today are my white jeans from last year. Now if you were reading the blog last year, you might remember that these jeans were quite polarizing. Some people LOVED, ADORED, and WANTED TO MARRY THESE JEANS. Others didn’t feel the love at all. I happened to love them.
Here’s what you need to know about them: The “Ab-solution” technology slims with power-mesh panels to mold and hold, including a waist band with interior control and booty-lift construction.
Oh, one more HUGE PLUS. They are $68. THESE JEANS ARE NO JOKE.
For size reference, I’m wearing a 4, so I think they are true to size. They are a mid-rise (which is PERFECT for me). Low rise often drive me crazy if I’m yanking on them all day, but high-waisted just aren’t comfy to me. But these? These are just right. #justcallmegoldilocks
I almost didn’t order them, because when I initially saw them online, I kind of thought that I didn’t need all of that fancy stuff. I mean, did I really need power-mesh panels? YES. THE ANSWER IS YES. Let me tell you something, I APPRECIATE A LITTLE INTERIOR CONTROL AND BOOTY LIFT CONSTRUCTION. Y’all! Look at my booty! It’s LIFTED and SUCKED IN! #andalltheladiessaidamen As I’m looking at the pictures, I’m considering getting them hemmed just a bit so there isn’t any sagging in the knees, but I didn’t notice that when I actually had them on. Guess I was too distracted by my flattened tummy and my lifted booty! 😉
And here’s a pic of the technology that’s built into the jeans. See the really wide stretchy material on the waistband? It kind of reminds me of my son’s waistband on his baseball pants! And there is also stretchy mesh built into the front behind the pockets. I don’t understand it, but I appreciate it’s power. 🙂 Oh, and I love that the jeans have a white button. #itsthelittlethings
I wear junior’s sizing a lot, but those of you that prefer women’s sizing all seem to really love many of the choices from Wit and Wisdom. Here are some non white jean choices that are currently available:
So, after this post, I hope you agree that you pretty much need a pair of white jeans of your own. And I hope you can find a pair that you love and make you feel great! Here are some more choices that all have good reviews:
And if you are still scared of white jeans, check out THESE white stretch flare legs from Mavi. I think this style would look good on most every body type (when paired with wedges).
And I found THIS pair of great plus size white jeans. So cute!
Oh, a couple of more tips! If you are still fearful of white jeans showing every little detail of your bod, then ease yourself into wearing white jeans by wearing a tunic top with them. That way, you still get the white jeans look, without the fear. I promise you’ll end up warming up to the look and getting more and more brave.
And let’s talk underwear. If I’m wearing a longer top with my white jeans, I will wear my favorite nude Bliss undies. But if I’m wearing a shorter top, then I go back to my tried and true Hanky Panky original rise nude thong.
Thank you to Nordstrom for sponsoring this post! I hope it was helpful. For those of you that already knew the power of a great white jean, I hope you got some outfit ideas! And if you didn’t already have a pair of white jeans, I hope I convinced you all to add a pair to your closet! And I’m telling you, once you find the right pair, you’ll find yourself reaching for them again and again!
